Brees owner what are you doing

Shockingly just dropped in my league. Drop Rivers for him?

Waivers: Who Have You Picked Up So Far?

Added Eifert, dropped Ryan Matthews. Only get 10 moves per season and basically 4 of those are for kickers and defenses so they have to count. I like it this way. It puts much more emphasis on a solid draft and eliminates the streaming crap.
  3. We place a heavy emphasis on the draft. I like it. None of this streaming crap. Some of this hobby we all love should be skill right? Horror story from last year...Used my last transaction to add Carson Palmer. Had Palmer and Cutler as my QB's. Palmer tore his ACL leaving me just Cutler. I make the championship final. Week 16 and Marc Trestman benches Cutler. I play the title game with no QB and lose by 18 or something. I felt like sending an $800 invoice to Trestman and Cutler for that move and then of course Cutler plays in week 17 and had a huge week. Fock those guys!
  4. I play in a standard, 10 team non-PPR league with a combined WR/TE position. We only have 5 bench spots and 10 transactions per season so every move is significant. Lewis is available and Woodhead just was dropped for a defense. Kendall Wright also was just released. I don't really need a RB but I do need a WR as I am a Dez owner but Lewis and Woodhead seem like must adds for depth. RB: McCoy, Ivory, Alf, Jennings WR/TE: Dez, Dem. Thomas, VJax, Eifert, Olsen Olsen seems expendable. He's been awful. Not sure about VJax. I don't think I want to dump and RB's.

Week 3 line up help please

Newton and Moncrief far and away from the options listed. The Broncos run game is shiite, and Gore isn't getting the carries because they are throwing the ball to Moncrief. The Saints are in shambles which bodes well for Cam and just say no to Thursday. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=448601

Would you trade Decker for D. Adams?

In a second. Adams is in a solid offense as the deep threat. He will see more opportunities than Decker in my opinion. I would make the move now. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=448601
  7. Forte and Alf. Start your studs always. If Clausen sucks Forte will see more touches and don't worry about Chancellor. He's missed 6 games including preseason. He has a lot to make up. Even splitting carries Alf had 18 plus a couple of receptions. 20 touches for any back is solid. That is a fluid deal. Jones had the hot hand last week and Alf might have it this week. As an Alf owner I think that all the Skins can do is run so either is a good play every week. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=448601

    Romo replacement

Assuming then you are releasing Romo, keeping Bradford on the bench and adding someone to start. In that scenario, Mariota is the call. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=448601

    Who would you start?

I like Yeldon, Eifert and Jones. I think JJ's rapport with ARod is back and they will continue to hook up. Adams has been an afterthought there and JJ is the beneficiary. I like Kelce but hate Smith and Kelce does nothing without solid QB play. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=448601

    Jeremy Hill?

It's week 3. Don't panic, and never bench your studs. Roll with Hill. He'll be fine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=448601

    Drop Hillman for Ebron?

Thanks for the help. Since you only have to play one RB, dump DeAngelo. He is a really solid handcuff but he will never see your line-up.
  12. Nope, just the second. He and Favre. Marino is 3rd with 61K. Manning needs 1,700 yards to pass Favre for the all-time record. The next closest active player is Brees with 56K who is 4th all-time. Brady with 53K is 5th.
  13. I play in a combo WR/TE league where I have to evaluate say Jimmy Graham and Jordan Mathews apples to apples. Is there a solid way to do that? Most of the provided rankings on the various sites rank and project each position on their own merit. My roster example is that I need to pick 2 between Olsen, Eifert and VJax. Leaning the two TE now, but I would love to know some ideas on how to evaluate these two positions as one.

Evaluating WR and TE production as one position

    Thanks guys...HUGE help.
  15. I play in a standard, 10 team non-PPR league with WR/TE combined. We start 3 receivers. I have Dez, Dem. Thomas, VJax and Greg Olsen as my receivers. Obviously went WR/WR to open my draft and my depth sucks. No clue what to think about VJax and if he can pull the load for a month. I couldn't pull the trigger on a move and missed out on FA ads T. Williams, Moncrief, Stevie Johnson and Witten. Eifert and Brandon Coleman are still there as is Roddy White. John Brown, Mike Wallace, Eric Decker, Doug Baldwin, Pierre Garcon, Tavon Austin, Charles Johnson, Martellus Bennett and ASJ are also there. Lots of options but are they better than VJax? One last thing...My league is a limited transactions league we only get 10 per year so they are gold. Thanks for the help. Leave a link I'll help.
  16. My RB are McCoy, Ivory, Alf, Jennings and R. Mathews. Along with VJax, who to drop to add one of these guys? I like having Mathews as a handcuff and I think McCoy, ivory and Alf will be better than we all think. That said, as soon as I dump Jennings and VJax for say Coleman and Eifert they will be swooped up immediately which means maybe they have more value than the FA's I'm adding? I feel like a confused teenage girl with this!!!
  17. Standard scoring no PPR. WR/TE is a combined position with no flex player. Thanks... 18. 10 teams but some of the owners are stuck in 2010 and draft name guys that might not produce at a productive level anymore. I am trying to get a jump on the inevitable add/drop fury after Sunday.
  19. Fearsome

    Alf Morris or Chris Ivory

Two boring choices for week 1 opposite Shady. Both are very similar and projections for these two vary wildly. I have Alfred in there now. Thoughts? Standard, no PPR.
  20. I draft Monday and play in a keeper league. I have McCoy as an option and would surrender pick 3.9 to keep him. Seems like good value. Thinking of a WR/WR start so he, technically, would be my RB1. Thoughts?

What do you for last place?

I play in a 10 teamer with two 5 team divisions. Top 3 in each make playoffs. Bottom 2 in each play in the Toilet Bowl playoffs. 4th plays 5th in each division. The winners play for the #1 pick in the next draft and $50 (roughly 2.5% of our prize pool). Loser gets the 2 pick. The losers of the first game play the next week for the 3rd pick and no money. Winner gets the 3rd, the loser picks 4th. Keeps all involved. People don't give up.
