Saw that with Bailey. Do your best to snag him though.

Absolutely. He's the best kicker in the league and money from 50+. Last year was a back issue and their calling this one a groin which is worrisome but if you let him go, someone in your league will snatch him up in less than 24 hours guaranteed. When that happens it makes you sick. If you can have the #1 player at any position you keep him. Last year he averaged 11 NFL points per game.

Of the ones listed Crosby is the add. He had a career day yesterday and the Packers offense has been stalling a lot in the red zone without a solid run game and a gimpy Rodgers. But Ficken, only because of the Rams offense, would be second on that list. Could see a lot of Rams FG tries upcoming too. Their next 6 are vs. LAC, vs. MIN, @ SEA, @ DEN, @ SF, vs. GB. There are some very good defenses there.

Rams to sign Sam Ficken. He kicked for LA last season when Zuerlein was hurt at the end of the season. He's solid. Zuerlein not on IR so he'll be back. Add Ficken as a handcuff and wait for Legatron. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000963462/article/rams-expected-to-sign-ficken-with-zuerlein-sidelined
  5. The fact that this is non-PPR makes this a stronger argument for Ajayi though I still think McCaffrey is the pick here. Though, the amount of vulture rushing scores Cam Newton snakes from CM is very concerning. I also think with Greg Olsen out CM should see more opportunities in the passing game. Thoughts?
  6. I play in a 10 team, standard scoring non-PPR keeper league. I was able to keep Mike Evans as a 4th rounder this year and then went heavy on WR early in the draft so that said my WR situation is solid. I have: Michael Thomas Stefon Diggs Mike Evans Marvin Jones Will Fuller Doug Baldwin has become available. I could drop Fuller for him and keep him as a stash until healthy and, if he's out long enough, I'll be able to keep him as a 6th round choice in the 2019 draft. I could also afford to drop Sony Michel but between Fuller and Michel I think SM has the higher upside ROS and is worth keeping. Thoughts on Baldwin? How long do you think he's out and will he be produce like before when he returns. Is he worth adding as a WR4/5?
  7. Done. Dropped Fuller and grabbed Baldwin. Now stacked at WR/TE with Thomas, Diggs, Evans, Baldwin and Jones. Hoping some RB offers come my way to compliment Cook, Miller, Ajayi and Hyde. Very pleased.
  8. QB's are Stafford and Goff. Don't use TE exclusive in this league. WR/TE is a combo position so I have no TE on my roster. My last RB is Sony Michel. My other four RB are pretty good. Dalvin Cook, Lamar Miller, Jay Ajayi and Carlos Hyde.
  9. Standard scoring non-PPR. Tough to evaluate since Fuller was out week 1 with the hammy but when he's on he's really solid. Cole is an unknown but WR1 with Jax. Both are in the WR40-WR50 range overall and WR4/5 on your fantasy team. Thoughts on each and why you would want one over the other. Thanks.
  10. Smith is a game manager with lots of unknowns. Goff has lots of ability and even more weapons. Smith is rated about 3-4 spots higher in rest of the season rankings that I'm seeing. Thoughts? Standard scoring 4 points per TD.

    Doug Baldwin

Worth getting him cheap, and stashing for 2019? In a keeper league and I could acquire and hold him all season and keep him for next year for a 6th round pick. Thoughts?

    Doug Baldwin

Not that I am aware. Thinking of making an offer to his owner to see how cheap I can get him for.

    Derrick Henry vs. Jay Ajayi

I have the opportunity to keep one of these guys in my standard 10 team, non-PPR league. I have the 10th pick. Based on 2017 performance Henry would cost me a 5th round pick and the Jay Train would be a 6th rounder. But by having the 10th pick in the snake draft these are back-to-back selections, numbers 50 and 51. I notice a few people talking about reaching for both of these guys. What are your thoughts? Who should I keep, why or tell me why I should dump both and start fresh at RB. My other options are Jordan Howard and Mark Ingram, both of which would cost me my #2 pick but at 11 overall I can do better that high in the draft. Thanks
  14. I have done fantasy football for almost 20 years and been a member of this board for 19 years now but have never moved away from either re-draft or keeper league formats so I've never paid attention to other formats. Looking to start a second league with my longtime group of 10 doing something different and these seem like the two top alternative formats. Have heard that people that play auction love it and will never go back so to speak. I understand mostly, as its obvious, what an auction league is, but I don't understand the format and rules of the draft. Seems like it would take hours upon hours to go through every eligible player. Is league scoring for an auction league PPR or non-PPR? Explain. Next, I have no clue what a best ball league is. Complete explanation is appreciated. Thanks from a middle aged non-millennial trying to learn some new/old fantasy stuff.
  15. Also, when doing the auction do you go position by position until the nominations stop at that position and then go on to the next or is it a free for all?
  16. Thanks for all of the assistance. An auction draft seems like an awesome time. Our current league has been going 15 years as a 10 team, non-PPR, two player keeper. This would add a second league and a fresh start with a chance to add top end players to your team that currently are owned, what seems like forever, by other owners. Do most auction leagues go with a $200 cap? Does it really matter? And, how long does the draft usually take? I would think 4 hours.
  17. Just won my third title in my money league in its 16th season. My starting line-up for the championship game was... Standard scoring, 10-team, No PPR QB Brady RB Howard RB Ingram WR Thielen WR AJ Green WR T. Hill K Succop D Ravens Benched Mike Evans, Jarvis Landry, Jay Ajayi, Derrick Henry and Alex Smith. Finished 9-4 in the regular season and 2-0 in the playoffs.

    Sitting in week 17

Me. The commissioner tabulates the scores by hand. Not that difficult. I have another league member check my work. Plus, we use CBS and they tabulate scores through the NFL Super Bowl so I could just grab the scores on the site and add them together if I wanted.

    Sitting in week 17

My league has a Pro Bowl. Division vs. Division. Division champs pick the teams. One player minimum from each team in line-up. Losing division buys the food and drink for the end of the year party on NFL divisional round weekend, usually MLK weekend so the out-of-towners can make it.

    Sitting in week 17

Rams cannot earn a first round bye and have already clinched the West. Basically for them, if they win they're the 3 seed. If they lose to SF they're the 4 seed. They just have to figure out if they want to face Philadelphia or Minnesota in the Divisional Round should they be fortunate to beat NO/CAR/ATL in the wild card game at home. So I expect all significant Rams to play a quarter at most. Sean Mannion and Malcolm Brown could have nice games. As could WR Mike Thomas and Josh Reynolds. I think Goff, Gurley, Watkins, Kupp, Woods and Cooper all rest. I think Austin plays but, as usual, is not a big contributor.
  21. I play in a limited transaction league (10 per season and have used 6 already) and I own the Ravens D/ST (currently 2nd in points in my league) and Baltimore kicker Justin Tucker (having an off year but still top 5 at position). I fear if I drop either I will lose them. I am 7-2 in first place with a one game lead. To replace either will take two moves since I will want to get them back after the bye. Just not sure. I won a game earlier this year with 1 point between them. Hoping I can do it again. My opponent this week is 2-7. Thoughts?
  22. Two WR2 quality players each with crap QB play. I tend to think Landry has more upside as Cutler is better overall than whoever Denver puts under center.
  23. I have a 3 game lead on making the playoffs with 4 games to go. The division champ gets a bye into the semifinals. If I don't win the division it means playing one extra game. 10 team league. 2 five team divisions. Division winners get a bye and 2 plays 3 in each division to earn the right to face 1 in the division final. Winners then play for the title. I feel really good about making the playoffs. With my team I feel like I can even win this week without those positions. Byrdman5, I agree on Baltimore. I am glad its only Tuesday for the kicker move.
  24. Succop, Forbath, Prater, Gould and Hauschka are the top 5 available kickers this week. Tucker is 9th in points. Succop (3rd), Forbath (4th) and Prater (6th) rank higher. On defense, the Saints (4th), Bears (10th), Steelers (11th), Bills (12th) and Cowboys (13th) are the top 5 available. The Ravens are currently 2nd overall, 25 points ahead of New Orleans. Tennis, to answer your question, without those positions accounted for I am a 5 point underdog. Starting Brady, Ingram, Howard, Green, Theilen and Landry. So with a kicker and defense I'm probably a 7-10 point favorite.

    Alfred Morris value

It seems like a cluster. A situation to be avoided.
