You will be happy for life. A little hack to make the WSM much easier to use, take the heat sheild/water pan and fill it 3/4 with playground sand and cover in foil, multiple layers of foil. This will have the same efect as water would (you don't really need water for moister) and it makes for much easier clean up as there is no nasty water to get rid of, simply remove a layer of foil and all good for the next smoke

Just get the WSM 22.5 for 550.00, it's great, veristile and will last forever. I've had one of mine since 2006 and she still cooks like a champ. The only thing I have had to replace are the grates
