were are in the suberbs so we only have racoons and opossums to worry about, and other cats of course but we have a large large male who kind of rules the roost so other cats don't really bother ours

We have a large wooden dial that we put in the back glass sliding door track that allows the back door to stay open enogh for the cats to come and go as they please. Each night we bring all 6 inside for the night around 9 or 10 and close the slider and then I typically open the slider back up at around 530am so they can come and go while we are at work

We could never foster, we would just keep them sad to say. One of our community cats got preggo and gave birth under my trailer smoker, we caught the litter (4) and got them inside and turned a extra bedroom into a cat room, kept them for 7 weeks and took them to the Humane Soc., that about killed me. Then the little sh!t went and got preggo again before we could get her fixed and gave birth in our bedroom closet. Another litter of 3 for 7 more weeks and another gut wrenching trip to the HS. Of course once we fixed here she decided this was home, she is the latest to adopt us. Over the last 10 years we have had 11 adopt us, they just seem to know that showing up on our back patio mean they get a new life. We've lost 3 to old age and 2 to jacka$$es driving to fast.

We have 6, all community cats that have adopted us, ranging in age from 12 to 2 and 2 are orange and are zoomie experts at 1am
