  1. I think this show was my second favorite football related comedy. It trumped the show a couple years back when Suzy Kolber took Brett Favre with the 2nd overall pick in her fantasy draft. The only thing better was the Halloween halftime show on Monday Night Football last year when they had the football costume race of ESPN football analysts.

For those interested, here is the link:

When I saw this live, I was literally on the floor clutching my stomach in laughter at the pointlessness of it all. There's so many pinpoint moments in this clip I can't even begin to explain them. Watch for prancing Kornheiser in the background.

  2. I think my favorite part was Hoge and Mort in the 2nd round. Mort had a wry smile on his face when he took Darren McFadden like he had stolen the draft. After defending the pick, he just kept smiling "McFadden's numbers this year are no mystery to me, though. I know it's early, but I'm not going to let him slip past me."

Prefacing Hoge's second round pick, he criticized the others for taking quarterbacks in the first and second rounds. "You guys are all crazy for taking quarterbacks in the first couple rounds. You need a foundation on your team, guys who are guaranteed to touch the ball...that's why I'm taking.......Brandon Jacobs."

  3. QB - Brad Johnson - $1

    WR - Andre Johnson - $27

    WR - Chad Johnson - $27

    RB/WR - Calvin Johnson - $24

    RB - Larry Johnson - $42

    RB - Rudi Johnson - $18

    TE - Eric Johnson - $5

    K - John Kasay - $4

    D/ST - Chiefs - $20

    Bench - Bethel Johnson, WR - $7

    Bench - Teyo Johnson, TE - $3

    Bench - Doug Johnson, QB - $8

    Bench - Bryant Johnson, WR - $3

    Bench - Jaymar Johnson, WR - $4

    Bench - Keyshawn Johnson - $1

    Bench - Chris Johnson, RB - $5

I have great depth at WR with Keyshawn as my #5. Bethel Johnson is the only deep threat in Houston and poised for a breakout year. If/when Romo goes down, Brad Johnson has a stellar offense to work with. Shockey is being overrated and the real TE to have in New Orleans is Eric Johnson who had a great season last year and only a couple years removed from a breakout season in SF. Chief's D/ST is a sleeper this year, and Teyo Johnson will be a great safety valve for a pure pocket passer.

  4. 2 Charged in burglary of Packers RB's home

According a criminal complaint, Herron was in an upstairs bedroom playing a video game and talking by phone with his girlfriend about 11:30 p.m. May 30 when the doorbell rang twice. He ignored it and then heard people on his deck, so he called police.

When he heard breaking glass and realized people were inside and coming up the stairs, he called police a second time.

Then he unscrewed a bedpost, hid behind a bedroom door and saw a man enter and take cash from his desk drawer. Herron told police the man went to the stairs and called to someone else, which made him fear for his life as he realized there were at least two people inside.

When the second intruder came in, Herron hit him in the head, then shut the bedroom door to keep the other man out.

He said he heard one person running outside, and when the man on the floor started to get up, he hit him again and then went to his garage and told police a man upstairs needed medical help.

I think I need to get an unscrewable bedpost in my night chamber

  5. Call me slightly forgetful, but what actually happened to him last season? I briefly recall one incident where he was simply sitting on the sidelines for a whole slew of games rooting against his own team. Why is he back all of a sudden? Is it because of a coaching staff change, and a willingness to start over?

  6. First off, it's PPR

Secondly, the guy was 3rd in yardage in the NFL last year - you act like people are saying Ron Dayne is a top 5 pick. :ninja:

I think Gore is capable of top 5 fantasy production - offense should get more opportunity with a better defense, and the offense should be improved anyway. I'd have a very hard time passing on Barlow at 5. Kid's got a lot of heart and he's fun to root for. And you know you'll get a few home run TDs a year - which can be a real dagger in your opponent's heart in H2H leagues.

Other than the injury risk, Gore has a very good O-line to run behind and several above average WRs and TE to take the pressure off. I don't see why he's not a top 5 pick.

It's the same old debate, taking a one year wonder super high. Go ahead and justify it all you want, it's just not an attractive pick to me. I'm not impressed with him yet, and have slight concern over his durability. And FYI, I only play in PPR leagues.

  7. Link? Dumbass :wall:

Also, since when did 7-11 give their counter people internet access?

I'm white, I'm a Republican, but I don't stand for "the white christian ideal"

Now ring up my slurpee and STFU.

I guess I didn't need to put it in words in the first place!

    WHITE SUPREMACY!

  8. Wow, what a reply. You are right, you have convinced me to shut my pie hole. How could I have been so wrong on my last post. Thanks for setting me straight with you brilliant reply.

Oh, and like you aren't a "whitedude" as well - I see under your profile your interests are listed as " Guitar Effects Pedals, Astronomy, Norwegian Black Metal". Ok "Blackguy"...

    What an ass you are..

70% of white people vote republican because they stand for the white christian ideal. The democrats get the other 30%, and most of the black, hispanic, asian, middle eastern, and jewish vote. In other words, all of the garbage minorities that white republicans don't care about and don't want to deal with are pro-democrat.

I am a first generation Pakistani-American. I don't like stereotypical white christian republicans. I also don't like stereotypical white christian republicans that call people that disagree with their white christian values a "liberal" as if it's an insult. I don't like democrats either; they're just softies who take opposite stances and live off negative campaign adds. Unfortunately they're the only other option for us garbage minorities, unless we want to be ruled by white christian republicans. That still doesn't change the fact that as judgemental and racist as it may sound, you're still a stereotypical white christian republican, and I've heard all your bull a million times (I'll just watch Hannity & Colmes or Bill O'Reilly, thanks). You don't care about me, and I don't care about you. I'm young and I'm not relegated to BS bipardison politics. I feel sorry for you if you've been swept up in a pro-republican anti-democrat campaign as if it's the only solution in this country to solve any kind of problem. You might as well watch American Idol.

  9. Fellas... I think I found the new village idiot... Introducing Leonard Henry, our new total dumb@ss... Hands down winner, no contest... The -2 must be the IQ score  MB

Based on what? That I disagree with you?

Leonard Henry was the Dolphins 2004 5th string runningback that started a game due to injuries.

    "GOD I HATE RANDY MOSS"

  10. No. Not bitter, but scared....

Yeeeeeaaah, you all really stuck it to Bush! Conrats to you all. Take a few minutes and feel good about it, then go find your checkbook. You're gonna need it to pay all the extra taxes coming your way.

If you don't believe me try asking some fellow NJ homers how much fun it is to pay all the insane taxes to live in this state. NJ has been run by corrupt democrats for so long now, and yet people keep falling for it. I saw a poster on a Parkway overpass a few weeks back that read "Vote Menendez - Stop Bush". Well, needless to say NJ fell for it again. Here is a guy who has literally been caught on tape being corrupt, and yet we still vote him in.. It is sad, but I bet there are plenty of fellow 30 something'ers like me on this board that live in NJ that will eventually have to move out of the state they grew up in b/c its just too damn expensive....

Speaking of being scared, have you heard of all the great plans the democrats have to protect us from terrorists?... Of course you haven't B/C THEY DON'T HAVE ANY!

Here are just a few things the people "we" just elected into Congress are against:

    - Stopping illegal immigration by building the fence.

    - ID Cards for all LEGAL citizens in order to vote. (obviously so illegals can vote

    for them)

    - The Patriot Act that allows govt forces such as the CIA and FBI share info on

    terrorists.

    - Phone Monitoring of suspected terrorists calling into the USA.

    - Profiling to help catch terrorists.

    - Any form of torture, even mild, against terrorists (even if they have info of an

    impending attack.)

    - Military trials for terrorists. Instead they believe in the old Clinton method of

giving them constitutional rights and civilian trials. Yeh, that worked out well in

    the past…

The fact is that democrats are against just about every method Bush and the conservatives use to try and protect us. They will say they are against the methods listed above b/c there is a chance one of them could infringe on a civilians (or terrorists) civil rights, but the reality is they just cannot agree with ANYTHING the Bush administration tries to implement soley out of principle. This is the greatest example of democrats playing politics with our lives. As I already said, the real scary thing is that they do not offer ANY alternative solutions to combat terrorism.

So once again, to answer your question. Bitter, no. Scared, YES!!!!

    Just shut up, whitedude.

  11. Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers, reports Oakland Raiders WR Randy Moss gave a reason for why he has dropped so many passes this year. "Maybe because I'm unhappy and I'm not too excited about what's going on, so my concentration and focus level tends to go down sometimes when I'm in a bad mood. So all I can say is that if you put me in a good situation and make me happy, man, you get good results," said Moss.

Another quality line, from the skin waster, playin' only when he wansta play.... LOL

Quit the double talk Randy and just say trade me... What a selfish pr!ck... MB

Nobody cares about who you think should go to the hall of fame, you're a nobody. Also, Randy Moss doesn't care about you. He doesn't care that you hate him, or that you think he's a selfish ######. In fact, he doesn't care if you're alive. You are completely inconsequential to his existence, so putting forth a passionate (and stupid sounding) rant against him or anything he does is a complete waste of time.

I really can't understand why people get so passionately angry about certain "bad attitude" players. Meanwhile, criminals like Steve "I got a DUI, but I'm Sorry!" McNair are called the "class of the league" by Tom Jackson and Chris Berman. I don't think I've seen a rant on pieces of sh.ite like Leonard Little (DUI murderer, and repeat DUI offender after the event!) in years. How about focusing your attention on the real pieces of crap in the NFL.

  12. No way dude. If I wasn't able to find footage of this I would have mailed ESPN a check for whatever amount they asked to buy the clip. Funniest, most pathetic, most pointless thing ever. I love it.

  13. Hahaha, me too. When they were trying to keep those heads from falling off with their hands in their big smiley mouths it looked like something out of an absurd dream.

I'm also wondering....was that even a real race? Were all of those characters legitimately trying to run as fast as they could (while being hindered by their costumes)? If that's the case, I'm honestly laughing even harder.

  14. I don't know what you guys are talking about. Yeah, it was super pathetic, but that's honestly what made it so absolutely brilliant. The booing of super smiley Theisman, Kornheiser, and Irvin combined with the complete non-chalance/cricket chirping for Berman and Tirico was so great.

I was almost crying of laughter when, in order to keep their bigheads from flying off, the characters had to hold them on with their hands while running. It looked like all the characters had their hands in their mouths.

The Kornheiser character was prancing at a slower-than-walking pace which looked hilarious in the background.

Steve Young's head falling off at the end, and the stadium's utter disinterest at the whole fiasco in general made that one of the most hilariously pointless things I've ever seen. I immediately called my friend after it had ended to confirm if he had saved it on TiVo.

Unfortunately, he didn't. If anyone did, and can upload it on youtube.com, PLEASE PLEASE do so. I would pay money to see that again.

  15. No offense to this site, but for IDP help you should go to the footballguys.com message board where they have a forum entirely devoted to IDP. Dansby took most of the starting snaps, but I've heard elsewhere that the injury he is suffering from is "career-threatening," despite the stellar performance.

If you have the roster space, stash Dansby, but start Foote. That way, if Foote continues posting solid games, you can taunt your opponents claiming they've been STOMPED BY THE FOOTE.

Back in the day, in Madden NFL, whenever Norman Hand would get a sack, I'd taunt my opponent with SLAPPED BY DA HAND.

Also, I'd drop Chris Draft and pick up both the guys I just mentioned.
