    week 2...RB2?

I'm with the masses, foster is the man this week, but it's not by much. here's mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=286417

    Trading for Brandon Jacobs

I guess i'm in the minority, but I would pass. Obviously the Texans aren't the 2nd coming of the 90's Cowboys, but I like Ahman Green as a fit there, and he's definitely the guy-if you trade him for Jacobs you are stuck starting some real turds whereas Ahman is a reasonable start if he has the right matchup.

    Lee Evans dropped

just wanted to say thanks for your response to my question (the one about bye weeks)...I answered above. Good Luck!
  4. I'm with these guys, stay put-you have plenty of depth @ RB, don't give it up to get the 3-4th rb you'd realistically start in a given week. Here's mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=286417

    trade help

I'd go for it, probably targeting fitz but either would be fine. here's mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=286417

    Best WR Available?

I voted for welker also, but not because I don't think Randle El isn't for real, it's because Welker will be the product of a uber-productive system and Randle El will have games like this but will mostly languish under an old as dirt coach with a bad QB. Possible Trade I'm Working - Am I Crazy?

This is a messy one to be sure, and I just counselled someone not to trade LJ for Reggie Bush, but this is a little different. I feel like your situation with the QB and the WR are ones where the first is screwed up anyway, and the 2nd is ok provided TJ doesn't get hurt any more. I would make the deal after a lot of thought (much like the earlier poster), because I truly think that LJ has a new contract, 400 carries the past 2 years, a mess at o line, no QB etc. have a gander at this and tell me what you'd do: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=286417

    thinking of dropping vernon davis....

There is no way you drop people you drafted to start after 1 week. Why panic and give up on something you were so convinced of a week ago. If you want E.Johnson drop your 2nd defense or kicker or your 6th WR that you will honestly never play. here's mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=286417

    Trade advice needed.

I would trade Driver + something (probably DJAX or maybe a low end RB) to get peterson. I probably wouldn't give a proven commodity like Holt, but with C. Taylor out of the way-you saw what happened. Here's mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=286417

    Trade LJ?

here's the rub, everyone's value is in question right now. you drafted LJ for a reason, and if you have low waiver priority, I'm guessing you won last week in spite of him. There will be a week that he gets in for 2-3 scores, and that's when you want to deal him, even if it happens week 5 vs Cincy (their def isn't as good as it showed last night). My advice is to dance with the one that you drafted because trading a 1st rounder like LJ this early reeks of despiration, and his value won't get much lower than it is now, even with a couple more average performances. Someone will always be willing to trade *something* for LJ because of the RB he is (or could be). Don't ruin your season by trading one unknown quantity for another this early in the season. Here's my conundrum: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=286417

    need some DEF team help

I'm with the guys, Bengals D only as a bye week replacement-that was more the Ravens offense being stains than Cincy being dominant. Answer mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=286417

    BIG TIME TRADE...

A lot of it depends on what your scoring system is...I think you should. Peterson has a monster offensive line, and considering that Chester Taylor is of questionable health, he's probably going to be the guy. Additionally, if you watched the monday night game, it doesn't seem like Brian Billick (that moron!) has much faith in McGahee. He took him out in one goal line situation, and then only called his number two times inside the 5 with a total of 7 downs. Additionally, if that's Roy Williams, I would most definitely do the deal. In short, Pull the trigger as fast as possible and answer mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=286417

    Trade help!

I really like Reggie Wayne this year, and think that if you can get him to do the 2nd deal, you should. Lee Evans has so many things going against him (the only legit receiving threat on the team, tough schedule, questionable quarterback, bad weather @ home games for the 2nd half of the season). I doubt he'll go for that, since R. Johnson vs. W. McGahee is a much closer trade...so this is what we call a "fair trade" if it includes T. Jones. You are taking a risk that your team is going to be percentage points better with R. Wayne and T. Jones, than with Evans and Rudi. I would probably make the trade because I'm a fan of R. Wayne and think that if you get L. Washington to back up T. Jones you should be fine. (Especially considering your scoring system gives him 30% more points per yard he racks up). Rudi Rushes for 1200 yards and 12 touchdowns= 192 points Reggie catches 700 yards and 12 touchdowns= 192 points Reggie catches 1000 yards and 8 touchdowns= 190 points Reggie catches 1200 yards and 12 touchdowns= 220 points If you look at projections for these 2 you'll see that with your scoring system Reggie projects much higher...so do you think that Thomas jones will under or over score Lee Evans or will it be a wash? It could be a wash, but I'd venture to guess that they end up close to each other. Answer mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=286417
  15. So I decided that I would ignore bye weeks like a goober this year. The crux is that both my #1 RB's have the same bye week (8) and both my #1 WR's have the same bye week also (6). Would I be better off just chancing it with back ups and waiver wire adds, or should I go looking for some trades? Thanks for your help, below is my line up. QB-M.Hasselback (Bye Week 8) RB-W.McGahee (Bye Week 8) RB-S.Alexander (Bye Week 8) WR-R.Wayne (Bye Week 6) WR-J.Walker (Bye Week 6) TE-K.Winslow (Bye Week 7) DEF-Baltimore (Bye Week 8) K- J.Reed (Bye Week 6) Backups include: C. Williams (Hurt/Bye Week 10), DeShawn Foster (Bye Week 7), LenDale White (Losing Starter Job/Bye Week 4), DJ Hackett (Hurt/Bye Week 8), Joey Galloway (Bye Week 10).
