my interpretation is that he is vocalizing his opinion that women were lied to about the whole concept of ambition and professional growth during and by the women's movement for equal opportunity. I believe that he is encouraging them to be SAHM (which i have zero issue with families making these decisions). I am not stating the women should feel bad about SAH. I think he is shaming those who decide to pursue careers.

while there are other hot topics in his speech, i am only referencing: “I think it is you the women who have had the most diabolical lies told to you,” regrading women's ambition (and related, opportunity)

No. I only want citizens to vote, or at a minimum, reach higher status in the process of gaining citizenship. i have a friend with a Swiss wife who went through some difficult hoops to attain her green card/citizenship years ago.

mrs has been cutting it since covid. my old barber is fantastic but moved shops about 30 away with no traffic. I book with her if logistics permit. she is about $75. former playboy bunny

Germany, Austria, switzerland, france, italy, nordic countries. i do not know enough about the UK, but can only relay my mother's experience in Scotland when she broke her hip before covid. She would have been fully covered for the surgery and rehab had she decided to stay there for treatment. They elected to transport her back home here for comfort. I have other friends who have received excellent, affordable health care in these countries. I understand that the US would have different challenges due to population, but health care is an avenue i would like to see more fully covered in the states. There are always going to be entities who manage our health care. Currently, insurance companies, big pharm, and the FDA (and many lobbyists) steer the ship regarding availability/accessibility of treatment, medication, and cost.

i am aiming higher than canada. there are models that work better. but yes, lowering costs on both premium side and balance would help everyone. again, it comes down to how we allocated resources. it is a bigger priority to me. i do not mind paying for something that is reasonable and of quality.

theoretically, we should be paying for it with our tax dollars. part of this, for me, is how we allocate funding.

my preference is for more options, with one to include reliable, accessible, affordable plans from the government.

I disagree. I often have differing opinions with OP and this has not diminished our comradery. health care, education, civil rights there needs to be a change away from connecting it with our employers, and moving toward cost reduction.
