i think it will depend upon how the game plays out.

The 49ers went through horrid front office management for about 20 years. Harbaugh resurrected the team and some players (a smith in particular). i think they beat bal with smith Harbaugh got them to 1 sb, plus 2 NFCC games. at the time sea and sf were very similar teams Shanny has gotten them to 1 sb, plus 2 NFCC games. unfortunately they could not hold late leads vs KC nor the rams. I don't think a SB was a given, but we had a somewhat even game with the 3rd string qb. think went to hell with Josh johnson, then cmc at qb. so yes, i think there was a good shot that sf advances with jimmy (played well when lance went down) or purdy. sure, talent is there. can't call anything a choke until the game is played.

dallas was a good one, but most of us knew that they had played the giants, jets, and pats jags was big as the 49ers were coming off of a 3 game losing streak (loss of williams was the big issue; as well as in the loss to bal) i think the win vs philly was the defining moment for them.

well.... the pack are definitely hot and trending up. a lot to look forward to with their youth. I can envision scenarios where gb wins, but probability is in the 49ers favor.

these days it is mostly top chef, but even that is getting stale. I am not watching many competition shows. the shows i enjoy include travel and regional information, whether it is cooking or just about local restaurants

you serious clark? it's not just the team, but when you play them. cowboys when they were still strong and considered a powerhouse. crushed them jags when they were still strong at 6-3. crushed them philly when they were the NFC favorite at 10-2. crushed them to take the 1 seed Also, the division is not a cakewalk like others are

That division led to more Ws-> higher seed-> more home field-> play lower seeds

brown and glenn were at 950 the year before brady with bledsoe. glenn was at 1200 with bledsoe the year before that welker was ok in mia prior, and ok in den after. was a rec machine for brady. that transitioned to edelman

he took over a 3-13 team. went 6-10, 7-9, 7-9, 11-5. i liked those teams, but still had obstacles in the AFC and Division dramatic changes are not common. he gets a pass for a talented defense opting out. he does not get a pass for letting Jimmy go (nor failure to back up the postion) Depends on where he goes and what he is working with imo. Some teams seem pretty close (Chargers, philly, dallas, Sea). i heard atl is in play.. a lot of young talent there. I have lower expectations for teams like chi and wash

browns and jets...come on. you know better. BB took over a mediocre pats team with only a few components of the one Parcells brought to a SB. Carroll did ok in between, but he build the dynasty. a true symbiotic relationship between the two. i also believe that the offense would have looked different if Bledsoe held the position... BB would have been more aggressive/pass-forward. BB adapted to TB's skill sets. I argued for A smith over Kaep at the time for the same reasons (ball security/minimizing mistakes).

HT and i rarely agree on much. those early NEP teams were founded on A. smith, Dillon, D and ST (as were Big ben's in Pitt). it allowed brady/ben to grow into an excellent qbs. As for the collapse of NEP post TB... you have to recall many players from their solid D opted out during that first covid year- and they never really recovered.

I was directv since 96. Got very tired of the annual dance and poor cs. switched to yttv about 4 seasons ago (already had many other apps). smart tv for family room (also have a ps4 pro connected- can stream from that as well). 3 firesticks for the other TVs around the house .

Fire stick for an hdmi… connect to WiFi. Can stream many apps this way
