THIS. So simple. Yet so profound. I will forever remember it the way you said it above. Just catch the damn ball. AB in 2014 is a perfect example. BEFORE he took a step, gained a yard nay scored a TD...he had 129 points in the box. 129! Yards and TD's will follow. Well done OP

Agree w/ Maroon5; on this recent "limited" and Pete Carroll to "manage" his health news, he is back on the bench where he belongs. Cooper back in at flex - and yes this is a champagne problem on the surface, but completely normal in a 10-teamer (everyone is loaded; 12 is the true min). At the end of the day, I suppose I would rather have him on my bench than in another's starting lineup. He could be tough to trust in a key playoff matchup.

Allow me some leeway here, and this is all gut feel, but in many ways SEA/SF/NO are all the same damn team. Really frigging good, top 5'ish defenses, and 2/3 can run the ball nearly at will... ...Percy Harvin is an ELITE difference maker. A differentiator if you will. NO doesn't have one. SF doesn't have one. They are paying this guy a lot of money both last year and this year and not getting the production. At home? Check. Monday night? Check. High scoring Saints/Brees/Payton across the aisle? Check. I think they unleash him. Time to make a statement. If you own him and are debating, you have been "all in" for this long right? Perhaps you got burned by the egg he put up last week; no matter, he shook the rust off and what is in the past is in the past. Starting w/ relative confidence at the Flex over Vereen/Cooper. Am I nuts? 0.4ppr.

"So you're telling me there's a chance?" One in a million.

Need to bump this one. I currently have DMC slated to start in a struggling WR corps. Full disclosure I have tremendous doubts...however: Bowe might be a mess mentally (?) and should draw Champ all day long. If I am the Broncos and I can stop Bowe I win by 50 tomorrow and make the statement they want to make. Smith's yards per attempt comfort zone is ~ 10 - everything short and underneath (partly accounts for Bowe's awful season). I think the Chiefs will have to pass and score a lot just to have a prayer. NO TE to speak of. The wildcard is Avery. Is he the better play? Was his one huge game of underneath routes a one-timer occurrence? DMC should get all the underneath stuff.

That's him. I call him 'Twilight'. Look at his picture - he looks like that d-bag vampire kid Robert Pattinson. Prudent pickup for Manning owners. He can ball enough and w/ those weapons I like the upside.

Put me down for one large too. I sat them for the Titans and knew in my gut it was a mistake. Carolina (arguably?) is the best real and fantasy DST playing right now. Period. They proved it on the road against a playoff and once prohibitive SB favorite. Did the 49ers crack 150 total yards? Week after week they prove it. And psst...I don't think they have gotten their annual run-rate of TD's yet - they may have some opportunities in that regard. Monday night they get to show their D off to the whole world at HOME against Brady and the Pats. Panthers DST is darn near must start every week - perhaps even Week 14 against the Broncos. Perhaps only SEA deserves the same rarified air. Chiefs DST about to learn the score.

Sounds like a pretty safe bet the Bears - 8 and the over

It feels like "Opposite George" game to me. No way that VETERAN team is going to allow themselves to be embarrassed in prime time tonight. I expect the Giants to keep the game competitive... Fantasy points aplenty for the usual suspects on both sides... Who cares about the actual outcome anymore right? Except for my home team, I could care less about the Sunday outcomes as long as my squad keeps making it rain. -
I have Jordan Cameron and Josh Gordon and I'm worried about Thursday Night Football.

"To be the man, you gotta beat the man. Woo!" A f^%$ing legend. Thanks for the reminder. Good luck guys and don't blame me. -

Full disclosure: I own neither in 2 leagues. -

Fair question and good response which prompts a good discussion - which can be rare around here - thanks. My opinion of course... Gates is a legend, Rivers is hot, he may even have a better match-up than Cameron. But Cameron looks like the best TE in the game not named Graham. And yes including a healthy Gronk. His first National TV game of any consequence at the pro level. Hoyer is getting him the ball and he catches everything near him. Fast, physical, athletic and FRESH LEGS. Said another way...he is what Gates was when he exploded on to the scene and became the Original FF TE God! -

FF101: Never. Bench. Your. Studs. Cameron & Gordon qualify... Expect some drop in production (short week schedule to blame?)... Nothing more to see here...oh and those two are some of the hottest pass-catchers going right now. You ride that until it throws you. -
8:00 A.M. Tomorrow, I'm a senior. I've got one year to make it all work. That's what I'm gonna do. Make it work. Best Movie Ever.

Are the Jets going to take Edelman out of the game ?
L_O_D replied to snatchit's topic in FFToday Board
X2. I think people are vastly underrating arguably the greatest Coach/QB Combo in HISTORY. They laid a very mild egg last week. They will figure it out. It's opening night in NE. Primetime. Its the JETS and Ryan. Continued Spy-gate payback. The LT "punch" story a few days ago. JETS surprise 1-0, got the QB they wanted starting, IR'd the one they didn't and I think they are flying high. Sounds like a perfect set-up for the BB kick in the mouth. I bet the Pats walk out of the tunnel tonight convinced they are the underdogs. Welker/Edelman...much respect and love for those guys but Brady made them, not the other way around. This is what he does. OP: Start Edelman w/ confidence. JETS will play them straight-up - Ryan is a moron but he knows better than to underestimate the Pats/Brady/BB. -
Step #1 - Punch the D-Bag that offered Matthews for Jordy in the nut sack. Trying to take advantage of a newbie is bush league. "all fair" I guess, but this isn't war. Step #2 - HOLD on your RB's. HOLD. HOLD. On paper, you have an RB1 Top 5 and two of the highest upside RB2's on the planet. No need to panic on Panic Tuesday #1.
