Heard a respectable podcaster call for a nice game from Robert Woods this week. The thinking there is that ATL has two above average cover-guys who will do good work vs. Collins &/or Dell, leaving room for Woods to be totally decent. I like the take. Stroud is quite excellent & should throw plenty.

Too murky; too many dynamics at play. I read an article in the days after JK’s injury which predicted Hill would take over most of the JK role. But then he was hurt, then Gus was hurt, then MG & Drake entered the scene & now KMitchell is in the mix. Hill definitely has a role but for ff purposes, he doesn’t seem to be in a situation where he’ll provide consistent scoring. I think his impact will be minimal; sometimes a spot flex play in certain weeks & matchups.

For teams *not* needing help right away, maybe buy low @Tee Higgins who is at rock bottom right now. Cincy may not straighten it out for a playoff run, but if Burrow can get healthy in a month, Higgins can be start worthy every week of a ff playoff stretch run.

If you are the Mostert owner & have other options for Week 4 & Week 5 - i would much rather have Barkley, rest of season. Mostert is not as talented & is no spring chicken…should think he is prone to break down as the season wears on. Plus: Achane & JWilson. Tough to know when Barkley will return from the ankle injury though. When he does, the entire backfield is his. Probably not this week & maybe? not W5. The W6 time frame seems about average on a return time for the high ankle injury (3-4 weeks). So again, weigh your other options. If you are the Barkley owner, I’d hold.

I’m with weepaws. Sanders for sure in the plus matchup. DMont seems like a gametime call..and on a Thursday. I’d avoid all together, given your other choices. Mostert for the other fill in. Mattison seems to be at risk to lose carries now (and..he’s been middling at best even before Akers arrival).

Benched this week? Is that official? Have only heard of the Trevor Siemian signing to the Jets practice squad…. I have BHall. Am sure Hall & GWilson managers would appreciate any available updates & sources.

Like Dell the best (keep); like Palmer the least (drop). Russell Wilson looks slightly improved from last years disaster - so the other keep is probably Sutton… But man, i really want to think that Dotson’s talent (and Howell’s good preseason) might begin to win out after the bad start. The low-floor high-upside keep is Dotson.

Neither is particularly appealing at the moment. As far as a roster start, i’d rather have gainwell in my lineup, at least in the short term. He’s no Swift, but he’s getting carries & passes including red-zone work. Swift & (unfortunately…) Henry seem fairly medium injury risks. Spears might be a better get IF if if Henry is hurt. I guess Henry might? also be traded. Anyway, i think i’s stick with Gainwell if you need points - and Spears if you need a bench stash

I’d probably play White and hope that he catches 5 balls & scores a td. DMont seems a game-time call (on a Thursday) and with Gibbs plus a banged up Lions line, he’s an avoid. Gainwell seems to need td’s & td’s only in order to be relevant with Swift running so much & well. As for Saquon. I guess follow/read reports & updates - but since he DOES have an high ankle sprain - he seems very unlikely to play, no matter what bs his coach says.

Hard to list him amidst the other players you name, for this week in particular. Think I’d review rankings/projections at this site & others, and base your decision on what you see there. Hate to be on the fence, but it seems that NO might give some (unknown?) percentage of snaps to both Miller & Jones, as Kamara returns. Easier to call a shot after you see what kind of play he gets this week.

Richardson might have a better floor than Fields. I dont think Richardson will burn you like what was experienced last week. If you think you have a 50/50 shot (or better) to beat you opponent this week, Richardson may be the play.

Thanks to you both. Went ahead and made the trade... @anxious about my team rb-depth close to nil - & - anxious about Geno turning into a pumpkin. Fingers crossed that Kirk rebounds, that Puka stays volume heavy, & that Gabe Davis can start to be flex-worthy. Appreciate the input.
