In a vacuum, regardless of roster-builds, which pair is best, ros? (Players below were swapped today in a 2-for-2 trade.) a) Bucky Irving & JSN b) Nabers & Trey McBride
-
In a 10-team ppr league, my lowest-level bench players are Tank Bigsby (now traded to the Eagles) and Ollie Gordon. Waivers this week has players…best seem to be: WRs: Hollywood, QJohnson, Boutte, CAustinIII, Tillman, and RB: DSampson. Which of Bigsby and Gordon is the most droppable? And: of those those Waiver players, is there one or two standing out above the others?
-
Thanks weepaws. WR core is good. Tillman is tempting…and…QJ would be too if there is any way on earth he’d stay consistent. <—-his w1 stat line is probably fools-gold. will stand-pat for now. Cheers!

The site isn’t the spot for on-the-second breaking news. It is a premiere place for analysis & opinion from non-paid people who like the FF game. For example, Tank Bigsby was just-now traded…you can get that news anywhere, pumped to you in a dozen push notifications. Flip side of that coin is that there are few places where *actual* FF players (and not just pundits or podcasters) will talk about this trade for no reason than it’s own sake.

Aaron Rodgers resurgence. Spends the season as a ff top-10 qb & wins at least one playoff game in Pitt. Trey Benson is a league-winning RB, mid-season thru playoffs. Ashton Jeanty plays well but fails to crack the top-10 RB ranks. Tony Pollard is a season-long top-10 RB. Xavier Worthy is the best Chiefs WR & a top-12 WR in fantasy. Rashee Rice averages 12 points-per-game; he is a flex-worthy WR3. Trey McBride is top-5 in receptions in the NFL, to include WRs.

Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks very much for the help.

Update: bye-bye CeeDee. Nabers ‘gameday decision.’ JSN played tonight…that didn’t work out well at all… Deebo will definitely be active now, in place of CeeDee. Scrambling, for 1 flex out of: Nabers, Hockenson, Vidal, Dobbins, AGibson, & Wicks. Yikes… Still applies…
-
Thanks Guru. This site is always the best; you are a big reason why this place is so interesting & fun. Question 1: In a full-PPR league with 2 WR & 2 flex spots, one player must sit from these 5: CeeDee, MEvans, JSN, Nabers, & Deebo. Does Deebo get active this week? It seems worthwhile to monitor reports about CeeDee Lambs shoulder…but the real question here (imo) is probably ‘Nabers vs Deebo.’ Question 2: In a .5-PPR, I must flex either Breece Hall or Marvin Harrison Jr. Final in that league is aggregate point totals of active roster for both this week & next - so start/sit recommendations for the 2 players are needed in W17 & W18. Thanks much.

Julius Chestnut…if both Pollard & Spears can’t go.
-
Jayden Reed = last 2 games both fairly quiet. May can offer a discount for him.
-
I think the broadcast said he was 7-8 at Denver. That’s pretty gritty…nearly a .500 record on a bad team. Have to say; Steelers this year look talented enough to make the playoffs - and Fields was totally decent. Not close to world-beater, but very mistake free. Will say that Wilson deserves a chance to get warmed up a bit but damn…hope it’s a short leash for Pittsburghs’ sake.
-
Wilson…likely a HOF candidate…but man, he sure looks awful.
-
Polk might be worth a stash. Lots of angling toward Pop this week (and he certainly should be rostered). If DMaye stays good, the talented rookie could also make a splash moving forward.
-
Jaylen Warren. Najee looking mid, at best. If Warren is healthy & has some juice, he might work into the best RB option for the team.
-
Am assuming JT is out this week. Have also read that Trey Sermon is injured…unsure of the severity. —> If both are out, does anyone believe Tyler Goodson is an OK flex play for W6? His ypc (small sample size) looks good…but fairly tough match-up this week + Indy w/qb issues…

Tolbert has a better fantasy-scoring day than CeeDee

In full-ppr, i am 2-0. QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, and 2 flex. Team bests are Lamar, Breece, Achane, Singletary, *JBrooks*, Chase Brown, Nabers, Waddle, JSN, & Kirk. (Rest of bench are 4/5’s & handcuffs. No TE’s in this league.) i feel weakest at WR. Was thinking of offering up Achane. Would choose to go after WR’s like Garrett Wilson or JaMarr Chase. Try making these offers - or - hold? Any other WR’s to consider for Achane?
-
Agreed; so is Chase. Was thinking of a lower-risk gamble that either GWilson or JChase might start playing to their adp. Feels moderately tough to offer trades like this because Achane looks great & has a really easy schedule for the next several weeks. Brooks is a bit of an x-factor. If he actually starts playing in w5 - and if he is actually fantasy-worthy in the now-Dalton Carolina, trading Achane might work out well
-
I’d go get Garrett Wilson for either one of those RB’s. If the owner will trade - go for it. No shame in making the offer.

Waivers - Week 2 Help Me Improve My Team Will answer yours

You have Dak… You might want to also look at Jalen Tolbert, if available. He sure looked the part this past week. Otherwise, what Weepaws said; going after either Pierce or QJ seems to be best this week. -
Thank you @BearsDST for putting me over the top. Honorable Mention @Jaylen Waddle; a nice game that I hope is indicative of scoring this season.

Packers vs Eagles Friday Night Football from Brazil
Lake209 replied to nobody's topic in FFToday Board
Yes…the field is mushy. Say bye-bye to the over. Also (just an observation): am glad to be watching the game - and is first experience with ‘Peacock.’ Not awful…but not great either. Feels like am missing plays and some of the goings-on in-between. -
Go big or go home. CMC is the best player in FF until he isn’t. With the well documented way he takes care of himself, with how he plays, and on that team & in that offense, I would not pass on him. What if he misses 2/3 games with a ‘calf strain’ - but is still in his 28yoa prime? Am still drafting him w/confidence in the hopes of winning the league. Yes, there is risk of injury…there is also risk of passing on the best RB in the game.
-
Just to plant a flag before responding, it’s worth noting that all 3 have injury risk. Kupp w/his age & injury history, Waddle banged up last season (and a bit right now), and worth-not-forgetting, Olave with a scary history of concussion. I’d go: 1) Waddle, 2) Olave, 3) Kupp

Multiple leagues; usually 10 or 12 teams. Those players = favorite last picks.
