... my opponents QB is Drew Brees! Option #1: Start Colston and Meachem. Option #2 Start Colston and Vernon Davis. Do I go all out and try to counter Brees with two of his receivers or replace Meecham with Vernon Davis (against the Eagles in Philly)?

I've been playing Brady most of the season, but he seems to be fading a bit and McNabb can get hot in December. So thoughts? Brady @ Buf or McNabb v. SanFran @ home. Thanks!

I'm starting T.O. as #1, but need to pick 2 of these 3 to round out my WR/Flex positions: Chris Chambers (SD) @ MIA Antonio Gates (SD) @ MIA Donald Driver (GB) @ ATL I was leaning towards starting Chambers and Gates, but is it stupid to put all my eggs in the SD basket? Will Chambers do well agains his former team? Thanks!

I have to start two of these RBs (Standard Scoring + 0.5 PPR): Marion Barber vs. CIN Ronnie Brown vs. SD Earnest Graham vs. DEN Thanks! BB

NYG pass def. isn't great and they might be looking to stack the box against S.A. Look for SEA to pass a lot to counter that. DJax has a big day. BTW, I'm starting D.Jax and Driver and E. Moulds this week. I'm expecting big output from my WRs this week.

Tough Call Westbrook or Fred Taylor in Week 3 ?
beachbum replied to LittleRoman's topic in A Little Help!
Thanks for mine. Tough call, but keep in mind that Westbrook didn't practice yesterday and was downgraded to Questionable. You may have to wait until close to gametime for a better read on if he'll play. If he starts, play him over F. Taylor. Rotoworld: Brian Westbrook (questionable, knee) missed practiced Wednesday. (Updated 9/20/2006) "It's not getting worse. It is sore, though," coach Andy Reid said. "We need to rest him and rehab him right now." Not getting worse would indicate Westbrook has a great chance to play this week, but he was downgraded on the injury report. -
^Bump Can anyone give me any reason to go with one over the other. Otherwise, I'm taking out my lucky quarter for the coin toss.

Ok, let's hear it. Pennington @ BUF or Grossman @ MIN I'm 2-0 so far this season, but haven't used either of these guys yet. I just picked up Grossman off the WW yesterday (dropped Plummer) and also dropped Cpepper for Pennington. Sounds drastic (and maybe it is) to drop both of my drafted QBs, but Cpepper and Plummer have just plain sucked and the rest of my team is solid at the other positions. Leave yours, Thanks!

Anyone know how to get CBS live scoring on a cell phone?
beachbum replied to kostnkost's topic in A Little Help!
How/where did you buy it? The site links to a faq that says on Verizon it's $4.99 per month. Is there a way to buy it for $10.00 once and done? It also says to text "FFC" to 22788, but doesn't say if that is to get more information or if that automatically signs you up. -

The answer might be here: http://www.sportsline.com/wireless/football/companion I'm just digging into the details too. I'd like to get live scoring or even my league head to head scores on my web-enabled phone. -
I have the same 2 QBs. I'm starting Plummer this week. I think he's going to come out of the gate fast and try to save his job from Cutler. I do have high hopes for Culpepper, but I think he'll need a few games to get going.

FWIW... It sounds like Andy Reid is adjusting the playbook to accommodate Stallworth's knowledge of their offense. From the Eagles website: "We're going to throw him in there and let him go," Reid said. "He'll be in all the different packages and we expect him to learn it and go forward. The gameplan is cut down, so he doesn't need to know every route that we were running during training camp. "We can narrow it down a bit for each game and kind of pick and choose what we put in during camp."

Stallworth. Andy Reid has said that he's starting and McNabb will likely want to make a point that "he don't need no T.O.!".

Vanderjagt is supposedly still having groin problems and missed some short kicks in the last preseason game. I can see PIT moving the ball some, but not hitting the endzone much. I think Reed will be busy trying FGs. I have him starting on my team. Thanks for mine.

Ha! Good point.
