  1. I won my league with a prize money of $1250. The money was deposited in Yahoo Fantasy Wallet. But when I try to link my PayPal account, I am unable to do so always getting an error code 17. Has anybody encountered this and solved the problem? Thank you.

    2-0

    2-0 and scored 254 points last week breaking the previous high of 234 set in 2004 (league has been around since the 1990's). PPR League QB - Brady (3.08) RB - McCoy (1.08) RB - Hillis (4.05) WR - V. Jackson (2.05) WR - S. Johnson (5.08) WR - K. Britt (6.05) TE - Gronkowski (12.05) K - Kasay (waivers) D - Lions (waivers) Bench RB - F. Jackson (7.08), WR M. Thomas (8.05), RB D. Thomas (9.08), TE K. Winslow (10.05), WR J. Ford (14.05), RB R. Brown (13.08), QB McCoy (16.05) and NE Defense (11.08)
  3. Our scoring system is a little odd. 1 point per reception and 7 points for 70 yards catching with 1 point for each 10 yards after this mark (8 points for 80 yards, 9 points for 90 yards, etc.). TDs count 6 points for 1-9 yards, 9 points for 10-39 yards, and 12 points for 40+ yards. Return TDs count 12 points. A. Johnson is on a bye and we will start Sims-Walker. We must then choose 2 from this motley crew: Avery Bennett Bryant Chambers Ginn Stroughter We have eliminated Avery because of his disappointment and NO defense; Bennett because of the lack of TD and he is the 3rd WR, Bryant potentially because of injury, Chambers because of injury and OAK defense, Ginn becuase he barely plays WR anymore, and Stroughter if Bryant starts he still might be the #3. Does anybody know if OAK's star CB will always cover Bowe or only if he is on his side of the field? Any advice besides sympathies would be much appreciated.

Bradshaw or Moore as 2nd RB

Our scoring is 1 point for 10 carries or 2 receptions and 5 points per TD. I have to start 2 of 4. I am going to start J. Harrison because with Lewis injured and Davis just put on IR at least Harrison will get almost all of the touches. I am going to sit LT in his 1st game back against Pittsburgh. So my choice is Bradshaw who is probably and has been wearing a boot all week. The team might sit him if they get up on KC. Or M. Moore who will split the load with Mendenhall so his touches are uncertain also. Both players play teams with suspect rushing defenses. Who would you start as my 2nd RB? Thanks.

    J. Davis or Randel El

Given our unique rules, whom should I start at 3WR, Josh Davis or Antwan Randle El. Randle El had more targets last week and does return occasionally (did not last week). On one hand, against the easy STL defense, he might be targeted alot from the slot. On the other hand, Washington will most likely lead and might decide to run the ball. Seattle (whom SF plays) has a better defense but I believe a starting corner and safety will not play. What do you suggest? Thanks. Our scoring is ReTD - Receiving TD 6 points Plus 3 points for a ReTD of 10 to 39 Yds Plus 6 points for a ReTD of 40+ Yds ReYd - Receiving Yards 0 - 70 ReYds = 0 points for every 10 ReYds 71+ ReYds = 1 point for every 10 ReYds Plus a 7 point bonus @ 70+ ReYd Recpt - Reception 1 point RuTD (double points due to WR) - Rushing TD 12 points Plus 6 points for a RuTD of 10 to 39 Yds Plus 12 points for a RuTD of 40+ Yds IKRTD or IPRTD- Individual Kick Return TD OR Individual Punt Return TD 6 points Plus 3 points for a IKRTD of 10 to 39 Yds Plus 6 points for a IKRTD of 40+ Yds

    Romo or P Manning

I agree with the previous poster.

    Wrs 3 & 4

1 point per 2 receptions and 10 yards receiving; 5 points per TD. I am starting Owens and Welker as WR1 and 2 and must select Bowe, Mason or Coles as the 3rd and 4th WR. Which 2 of these 3 would you select and why? Thanks.

    Flex position

Scoring 1 point for 10 carries or 2 receptions; 1 point for 10 yards rushing or receiving; 5 points for a TD. I have a choice between a 2RB/3WR or a 1RB/4WR. I will start LT as RB1 and Ward, Holmes, and Branch as WR1-3. Would you start Alexander, Morris, or Bowe at the remaining position? Thanks.
  9. I really appreciate everybody's reply as your feedback has influenced how I will handle it. Let me then ask the broader question to help us address other situations, "Has anybody ever drafted tanking rules into dynasty league by-laws and if so, what are these rules and how effective have they been?" Thank you again for all of your input.
  10. The point is whether this would qualify as tanking if there were a rule. Rules usually come about to address existing problems. What do tanking rules look like from other dynasty leagues? Sorry to bring business terminology into fantasy football but are there best practices on how to handle tanking in dynasty leagues (where there is an incentive to finish badly so the person can get a higher pick next year)? If this is obvious tanking by other league's rules than that would be momentum (for lack of a better word) to bring rules here. But if this is not considered tanking by other league's rules then I would like to know that as well and maybe examples of what would be tanking.
  11. But Pimp, do you consider this a clearcut enough differential to qualify as tanking? I am trying to get objective opinions as to whether this constitutes tanking or can be justified. Thanks.
  12. In our dynasty league we can start 1RB/4WR our 2RB/3WR and TDs earn 5 points; 10 yards rushing/receiving earns 1 point and 10 carries or 2 completions earn 1 point. Since week 11 one of our two commissioners has been out of the playoffs. Week 11 He chose to start L. Maroney versus Buffalo over Steven Jackson versus SF. Week 12 He chose to start A. Gonzales and C. Henry in a 1RB/4WR over Steven Jackson versus SEA in a 2RB/3WR. Week 13 He had originally chosen to start A. Gonzales over Steven Jackson versus Atlanta until I told the other commissioner and his lineup was changed. He stood to move up from the #6 pick to the #3 pick by losing. 1. What are people's opinion? Is this clearly tanking or could someone in a playoff hunt credibly make these decisions? 2. How would you handle this if you were in this dynasty league? This is our 7th year together. I asked for official league rules last year about tanking and quit when we didn't put any together. People asked me to rejoin the league and I did. We do not have any official league rules. 3. When I confronted him his argument was as follows. Is this argument credible? Thank you very much for your help on a sensitive matter. I don't have a crystal ball. I liked Gonzo last week over SJ. He had a long td called back on holding or he would of easily out pointed SJ. My thinking on SJ is simply that with his injury and that team as bad as they are, seems silly to risk their stud when they have nothing too gain and they can find out about Leonard. Guru had him ranked down last week and had it as a neutral matchup. They had Indy as a good matchup in the passing game. If you look back I inserted Gonzo into my lineup at the last minute Thur when I heard Marvin was out again. I'm not tanking. Far from it. It does not matter to me where I end up. ... there is little difference in one pick to the next for me when they are this high. They are all a crap shoot past the the first 2 and even then, you can make an argument! I have so many picks that everyone knows I have to deal them out. I am notorious for dealing picks and not holding them. I dealt my way out of the playoffs this season with bad trades. Me getting the 4-6th pick is not going to make a huge difference since I own the #1 overall.
  13. I am 3-1 and my WRs are awful (R. Moss, D. Bennett, A. Toomer). I have LJ and Edge as RBs. What level player should I be able to get for M. Drew in a dynasty league to try and inspire life in my WR corps? Thanks
