Fitz and Crabtree for LT and Boldin?

I think that deal works for you. LT has lost A LOT of his former ability. Baloney and Caddy aren't reliable options but neither is LT at this point. I love Q but the guy is always hurt. Fitz is always a threat and Crabtree has looked really good in his first 2 games after not playing for quite awhile. He's only going to get better as he gets acclimated to the offense. Good deal for you.

    Mendenhall for Steven Jackson?

Hmmm I guess there's another board for trade questions.... Thanks for the 'help' everyone.

WHO LOST in week 8, due to the S. Slaton vs.

I had the Slaton and Owen Daniels duo.... in 2 leagues. Yikes! It was a painful Sunday of football seeing Slaton walking around the sideline, helmet off smiling and joking and giving Moats high fives. Ugh.
  5. Which team wins in a PPR league? Mendenhal and Reggie Wayne for Steven Jackson and Santonio Holmes.
  6. I've left slots open in the past but it can come back to hurt you. Last season a friend missed the playoffs by less than 2 points. Sometime during the season he went with an open slot. Probably one place he could've gotten those extra couple points.

    Antonio Bryant

Was it just me or did Antonio Bryant (who was out of football) look like he was running by himself all last night? 200 yds and 2 tds?! C'Mon!!! Which corner was on him and will this piece of toast be on Brandon Marshall this week? Will anything less than 150 and a td be a disapointment for B Mar?

    Randy Moss

Anyone watching that New England @ Seattle game? Is Randy Moss even playing?

    Tough Commish question please respond

Really tough situation. But if 2 pt conversions were set for 0 then they should stay that way. Retroactively changing rules could really screw your standings up. Owners should be looking at their scores each week making sure everything is being tallied properly. Good luck.

Anyone else lose because of Slaton's TD

The 4th and last seed in the playoffs was up by 48 pts going into Monday night. 5th place team had Slaton going. The last TD run wasn't what put him over the top. It was the 3 point bonus for long TD runs. He took over 4th by less than 2 points. Brutal.

    All Kinds of Bad News

Colston's out unless I missed something so you only have 3 options. I think Big Ben should definitely be picked up off the wire. I see the o- line getting better as the season progresses and the run game is going to come to a standstill if Willie P can't get back all the way. That means Ben will have to run the spread offense that was so effective last season throwing intermediate routes to Hines Ward and the long ball to Santonio Holmes. No brainer to try and get Big Ben. As for this week, I think Pennington might be a good option but of the QBs listed Gus Frerotte might be the best bet for the biggest numbers. He's playing a PUTRID Detroit Lions team. Look at what opposing QBs have done to that secondary. For a team that already stinks, they're going to have their hands full trying to keep AP under 200 yds. Frerotte will throw all over the place to Berrian....
  12. I say go with Manning. The Ravens secondary lost Fabian Washington who was filling in for Samari Rolle. Indy won't be able to run but they can throw it around to the WRs and Addai out of the backfield. Plus, since you have the Bal D, any turnovers Manning might have will just be balanced out by the Def. ATL can be run on and the man in Chicago is Matt Forte. I think he goes back to having at least 20 carries so Orton won't have to throw as much as in the last couple weeks when the D's were clamping down on the run game. MJD is your man at Flex. He's up against a pretty mediocre run D in the Broncos. He's going to light it up. I can foresee GB getting out in front quickly and Sea having to dump the run game a little.

Is this to risky of a move?

Of the 3 you mentioned I think its Forte by far, then McClain, then Pittman. Like you said, you'd be really Denver heavy if you took on Pittman. Forte, in a PPR is money. He plays Atlanta which is a pretty good matchup for him against the run as well as a pass catcher. And you know the offense will run through him. McClain is good against the Colts D but how many carries will he get? Go with the sure carries and looks and go get Forte.

    Non Payers in League.

So I have an 8 team league with the core group being some pals from school. This year we added on some friend of friends. Now we have 2 teams that haven't paid a league fee. It's already week 6. Any suggestions on what to do if these guys don't pay and I have to delete them as owners? Do I just run their teams for the duration of the season? Thanks. Leave a link and I'll answer yours.

    how was this trade?

Wow. I think you robbed this dude. Slaton has had a good season so far but its been 4 games for him. Portis is looking better than ever and he's done it for 7 years. And unless Barber goes down, Felix Jones is an explosive boom or bust flex at best.
