Charles has been hurt all year and they finally didn't even activate him for Game 4. He'll likely be back at some point, but after missing a big part of the season and competing with better weapons on that offense this year, I doubt he will be very relevant in fantasy this season. I wouldn't write him off long term though, we'll have to see what he looks like when he gets back to full health.
-
So tell me who will be the fantasy MVP this year and why

Brandin Cooks -
Eagles Special Teams is likely what gets them ranked that highly.
-
That should only serve to prove that violent sports aren't going anywhere.
-
All taken in my league I'm looking at: Chandler, Scott Myers, Brandon Wright, Tim Pettigrew, Brandon Miller, Zach Housler, Robert Thinking Wright or Housler I guess.
-
Probably - especially if the bears lose.
-
I'm watching the game, announcers seem clueless so far
-
He is out on the field now testing it out

Considering how many games in the midwest-east have forecasts of a rain/snow mix, 20 degrees might actually be better conditions than a lot of teams are playing in.
-
Looking for another option besides Vinatieri this week. There are so many outdoor games in the mid-west and east that are forecast for "wintery mix"... not many options. I am scared of Dawson vs. Seattle. Zuerlein vs. Arizona maybe? Not sure that is even worth the effort
-
Being mathematically eliminated is different from what is the likely reality though.
-
Doubtful yes, but not too far off from the situation in 2010. There is plenty of talent on the team if they get guys back from injury and get their *** together on the defensive side. I don't know if Rodger's could come back after 6 weeks and play at an elite level though - because that is what it would take for them to be competitive.

Who else needs a miracle in Monday Night game......
Arsenal replied to PATSSOX's topic in FFToday Board
I just need Graham to outscore Hartley by 6 points - I should be safe, but who knows in this crazy world! -
This week I have to decide between Harry and Roddy... I knew this day would come, and of course its in the playoffs
-
He has to beat out Harry Douglas for a starting spot on my roster. At this point I am hoping he doesn't and Harry just continues to pile up the stats. My worst case scenario is Roddy coming back and playing well enough to take catches away from Harry and forcing me to a play a guessing game each week through the playoffs here.

I wouldn't bench Jordy unless your other options are pretty amazing. I also wouldn't play Flynn unless your other options are pretty terrible. I'm sure they will attempt to control the clock in this game, but a lot how things turn out will depend on Detroit's success early on.

Glennon > RGIII as an NFL QB. RGIII > Everyone as a D-Bag

You are right - you can come back from these injuries and still be in a condition to play, but you are not really at 100%. These types of QBs are just not effective if they are playing at less than 100%. In football most players have to play hurt at some point, and these guys' game just degrades far too much when they are in that position. Add in the significant fact that their style of game exposes them to more hits and its not a great situation for a franchise game who you would ideally want to play every offensive down of every game. None of this is new of course, Same thing happened to Vick who still looks like amazing when he is completely healthy. The thing was that last year he was a very effective pocket passer. He had good accuracy and most of the time looked great back there. But at that point in time he had the threat of the run and the defense had to defend that. Especially the pass rushers who had to play contain all game rather than doing all the crazy things they typically do in order to collapse the pocket and get to the QB. When most of the defensive players are playing half a step slow in order to keep an eye on you just in case you decide to break off a run and take it to the house, it makes everything else much easier. -
I played against Moreno this week - Ball certainly helped me out!
-
My thought too - I don't expect him to be "healthy" the rest of the season.
-
It is when the team is lining up in a run formation and has no need for their gimpy pass catching TE to be in run blocking. They found formations that they were dominating with and Graham wasn't in those formations.

Who's rolling with Jordan Reed tonight against the Vikes ?
Arsenal replied to NYFG's topic in FFToday Board
I wish we could use a TE in our flex spot... Reed is currently backing up Coppertone and no one will give me anything decent in a trade for him. -
I'm debating on Locker vs. Pryor for my QB2. I had Pryor but had to drop him last week to fill in for bye/injuries. Currently leaning toward Locker for the rest of the way though.
-
At this point I think I am just going to roll with TENN for the rest of the year aside from week 14 at DEN.

How come DMAC got 20 points the 1st half and 1 in the second ?
Arsenal replied to snatchit's topic in FFToday Board
Same as always - he'll be awesome for another 1/2 game until he gets hurt again. -
Based on this ringing endorsement I picked up Jones 15 minutes before kickoff and started him. Thanks guys!
