Did Seattle get screwed by the refs in the Super Bowl?
Steel City Blues replied to phillybear's topic in FFToday Board
1. Steeler fans (including me) will go to the grave saying Franco caught the ball clean. 2a. In XL, the Hawks got screwed by the refs, but it doesn't mean the Steelers would have lost if the refs called the game better. 2b. We overcame worse officiating vs. Indy. IMO, Seattle had to suck it up and make the tackle too. -
The top tier 2 rb or a potential stud conundrum.
Steel City Blues replied to 4thand26's topic in FFToday Board
Cpep is also good for taking rushing TDs from your stud back too. I like both, but have more stock in Jordan in 06. Especially in PPR leagues. In a dynasty, it's like the others stated. Take the young talented guy. -
Either way, he looks like a 4th rounder right now. Definitely better to grab a slew of full time backs, several upper tier WR and even a few QBs before him. If the hype builds around him leading up to the start of the season, he will get pushed up draft boards accordingly. I wouldn't hesitate to get him in yardage leagues or those with bonuses for distance scores.

Texans/Moulds agree to contract **OFFICAL**
Steel City Blues replied to Farmer Bernie's topic in FFToday Board
What should the Texans do with their #1 pick? This has been bothering me since I heard about the "best 3" players in the draft being a RB & 2 QBs. Texans have Carr & a very good DD. Wouldn't it make more sense for them to massage themselves down a peg or three and take the Brick? Even high third round picks & brick should benefit them more than another RB. -
I hope you are right, but I can't shake the feeling that FWP will be pulled somewhere around the 10 yard line. Cowah wants to keep him fresh for that explosion and won't want to burn his energy grinding out 1 yard for a first down or TD. A fresh Staley should be more effective after a the D has been chasing Willie for 60 yards.

RB S.Jackson Expects Breakout Year
Steel City Blues replied to Dog Face Gremlins211's topic in FFToday Board
No offense Tuna, but why bother commenting. Sjax is already locked on a roster in all dynasty leagues, and you are calling people out for looking at drafting him as a #2 in a redraft league compared to your #2 running back LT2 I have not owned SJax yet, but I could see him as a very good #2 back. I don't think any of us would relish playing against a team with LT2 & Sjax week 1. -
Team 6 Edge Holt Gates I take FWP here for sure. Nice value in round 4 with good upside on a run first team.

Acreed, sorry I couldn't resist. #8 This is a good time to look at Manning if you aren't a stud RB theorist. Others to look at... Lamont Jordon, McGahee, Caddy, Stephen Jackson

This is lame even for a Trick-or-Treat joke. Can't say anyone who knows anything about Pgh or FF will bite on this.
