Not sure if I'll start Samuels at TE over Kittle.

I suppose Ridley gets the early down carries and Samuels gets the passing down work. Although I'm not sure the Steelers ever run the ball on early downs without getting called for holding.

Kittle hasn't had a 0 yet this year. He's had at least 4 catches in all but one week. 4 catches and 30 yards might not be a lot but it's better than 0.

It's been a weird year. The extra scoring is causing odd results. You control what you can and hope for the best. Then you lose 2 of your keepers before the playoffs and you're left trying to field a competitive roster.

Was it a reaggravation of the toe injury or did he injure something else?

After the first half this week is turning into F Everypony. In my case Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns turning the ball over everywhere.

I`m starting him over Hunt.

Releasing him seems like a bit of an overreaction.

TMZ sure does use some major creative licensing when they put their headlines together don't they? Brutal? "kick"? I mean he's still a dumbass for getting into a fight at 3 in the morning, but yeah.

If you have the roster space, I'd pick him up, but it would be a wise move to cover your ass, not b/c I think Gurley's in any danger of being rested. I could see Gurley sitting a 4th quarter of a blowout or something, but I don't see him sitting a whole game where you'd want to start Brown. If your championship game is week 17 though I guess it could happen. But they still need to finish ahead of the Saints for homefield advantage so my guess is it goes till the final game.

I see we're back to those kinds of Thursday night games. Yuck.

My keeper league is actually trying something new this year, we're going to give the #1 draft pick to the winner of the consolation bracket (or toilet bowl if you prefer). It's hopefully going to give people a reason to try to win games as long as possible. After that the next three picks are in reverse order of regular season standings so that if you finish 8th you're picking no worse than second. The playoff teams will pick in reverse order of playoff finish (loser of 3rd place game, winner of 3rd place game, runner up, champion).

8-4, need to win one of last two to cement playoff spot. Could finish anywhere from 1st to 5th if things go really poorly. I coulda: traded Conner for Julio Jones before our trade deadline. Instead i got greedy and tried for AB and after being shot down never really went back to either take Jones or see what kind of draft picks I needed to add to sweeten the deal and get Brown. I woulda: drafted Mahomes as my second QB if he hadn't gone 71st, right before my picks at 72 and 73. I shoulda: started Cousins and Rivers all year instead of playing matchups with TB. I had my QB benched 3 times. Not a good way to put up a big score. My biggest issues this year were start/sit decisions, especially at WR 3 during byes and at defenses. I've started various defenses through the year that I thought had good matchups and they really didn't work sometimes. They woulda worked really well if I'd started them the next week though.

That seems like a really bad rule. Bad teams aren't allowed to try and improve? If the guy's just bitching b/c you made a trade and he didn't, well that's tough luck for him. Tell him to grow up. I don't see much wrong with Thielen/Goff for Hunt/Hill, but that will depend on your league settings, in my case 2 QBs and 6 pt passing TDs, so Goff is extremely valuable.

My league doesn't have divisions (only 8 teams) but we use total points scored as our tiebreaker for playoff seeding.

I'm not sure I trust Conner enough to start him next week. Barely getting 15 touches a game over the last 4, vs 25+ the previous 4.

Wouldn't surprise me. He was dinged up to start with, so not surprising he'd leave the game.

WR: Golden Tate. Has done nothing since being traded to the Eagles. TE: Gronkowski, Graham, Engram. Injuries have played a part (Gronk/Engram), so give it to Graham. K: Uh, no one cares about kickers do they? But in the interest of picking one, how about Chris Boswell? Good offense, no FG. Def: Has to be Jacksonville.

The new manager should be the one to make the decision, not the outgoing manager.
