*sigh* In one league I played against Palmer. And Darrell Jackson. And Antonio Bryant. And Donal Driver. Oh, and lets not forget Joey Galloway. And throw in Tory Holt for good measure. Darn 8 team leagues where you can start 5 WR. Those 5 WRs totalled more than 100 pts.

In my experience with Yahoo!, the position designation remains stable if you have the player on your roster... but, the designation can change if he is a free agent. Is this correct? Anyone else have the opposite experience?
Yahoo position elgibility won't be lost during the year. Someone can gain eligibility at a position, but they won't lose it.
ie, you could go from TE eligibility to TE/WR, but not from TE/WR to just WR.

However will I survive?

8 team league, we start 2 QB/2RB/3WR/2 Flex/TE/K/DEF
Guys I started that didn't score a TD:
Culpepper
Larry Johnson
Cadillac Williams
Marvin Harrison
Chad Johnson
Joe Horn
Rod Smith
Kurt Warner and Dallas Clark were my only starters to score a TD, with Chester Taylor still to play.

3. Bears I think are a bit too high, although if you had them this high before the season, then it's ok. They did what they were supposed to do against an inept Packers team, but beating the packers doesn't warrant moving them up in the list if you had them somewhere in the 5-10 region.
5. Ravens are a touch too high as well imo. I'd flip them and Seattle.
10. I'd bump the Rams down. I don't think they're better then the Dolphins, Panthers, Patriots or Cowboys over the long haul. Same with the Broncos. Jake looked lost, and the Rams were given every opportunity to score pts on offense but couldn't. If the Rams defense can repeat their performance in subsequent weeks, they may deserve this ranking, but one week isn't enough.
21&22. I think the Cardinals and Chargers need to be moved up. Especially the Chargers. They had the #1 rush defense last year, despite playing against LJ twice (or Holmes once and LJ once). Yes they lost Brees, but that defense and Tomlinson should keep them in every game, and I think you'll see them get better as the year goes on and Rivers gets more comfortable. They're certainly better then the Jets.

I don't think order in which you joined the league has anything to do with how the schedule is set up in yahoo. At least it didn't in mine.

We had something like this happen a couple of years ago when Ricky Williams got busted for smoking the wacky tabaccy, and we didn't have any good way to deal with it either since we picked our keepers at the end of the previous year.
We fixed in future years by saving all the rosters and naming keepers 1-2 weeks before the new draft like most sane people.
In your case, I don't think you can do option C. That's like giving him both a keeper choice and a predraft pick, so that's a no-no imo.
My two suggestions would be:
1) He chooses another guy on his team from last year to keep and Dominick Davis goes back into the pool of draftable players.
2) He gets a supplemental pick in the first round just like all the other teams that only kept two players and Dominick Davis goes back into the pool of draftable players.

I think you have to redraft this year and do the keeper thing next year.
Worst Bye Week Blunder?

I've got a bit of a problem in week 6 with Rhodes (who may not even be starting), Harrison, Chester Taylor, Ahman Green, Dallas Clark and Adam Vinatieri all on bye. I'm probably just gonna take an L that week given that my opponent has nobody on bye that week. So even if I pick up some players they're not gonna compete with someone's full roster. It may end up being Larry Johnson vs my opponent's entire team.
