    Draft Commentary - Round Seven

Evidently he's got some sort of bonus coming to him in a few days and speculation is he MAY be cut. Same payment that lead to Crowell's demise. BUT, that may not be a bad thing as he will certainly get re-signed. He's good for a couple of more years, barring injury. He would have been heavily considered by me at the turn, nice pick. Yup...he was on my short list as well.

    Draft Commentary -- Round 6

Nice pick, Shovel. The last of the 1,000 yard WRs is gone (using last year #s). Jimmy should give you 3 or 4 more quality years, IMO. [ 02-26-2003: Message edited by: Hog Chow ]
  5. Is the thread Blitz started the official list, will another be started by TJ or do we email 'em in??? Just tryin' to be compliant and all....

How do we make our keepers official?

TJ....not to be a jerk, but since you'll be out until the 3rd or the 4th, will you be sharing your keepers with someone on the 28th?? Those 4 or 5 extra days could be huge benefit.

No, but I could use your sheet in BOSMOSPOF! I've gotten killed in that league both years.

LMAO...just looked at my divisional foes...we are certainly the WR Division!

    Draft Commentary -- Round 6

I'm heading for a 1RB, 8WR starting formation I think. Its all about guaranteed touches and points so I'll glady take a couple more 1,000 yard receivers. 4 WRs - 340 catches, 4,654 yards and 23 TDs...ok, I'll take it.

1.12 -- Donovan McNabb. Was ecstatic to get McNabb here. The scoring system in this league heavily favors the running QBs and I got the best. Young and fast. 2.01 -- Tiki Barber. Love this guy, he helped me tremendously last year and there is no reason to believe he will slow down. Also, he catches the ball great and was one of the best at long runs. Young and fast. 3.12 -- Peerless Price. I'm intrigued by this pick. He has the skills and will be playing with a chip on his shoulder. The Bills will pay him the average of the top 5 WRs in the league, so they will get him the ball. His breakaway runs make him very attractive in our system. Maybe a bit of stretch here, but he's young and fast. 4.01 -- Torry Holt. Watch out for this guy this year. He had the receptions and the yards last year and now he'll get his TDs. Also, had a bunch of long receptions. Oh...he's also young and fast. See a trend??? 4 big time players that are either 26 or 27, very fast and are gamebreakers. All 4 produce big numbers and are in great spots to go even higher for many years. [ 02-25-2003: Message edited by: Hog Chow ]

    Draft Commentary -- Round 5

Thanks DS, there's a chance I'll pick tonight then. I'll check back after dinner. Anyone else think the talent is dwindling fast? Scary thing is our starting rosters are less than half filled. The next rounds will separate the men from the boys.... [ 02-25-2003: Message edited by: Hog Chow ]

    Availability - - Feb26

I should be around most of the day.
  22. We are draft EXACTLY 1 QB, 2 TEs and 9 RB/WRs???? Correct?
  23. Hog Chow

Dan or soemone who knows...please clarify

RTFM = ? That was an ouch to myself, I'm not used to having a comprehensive set of rules in a dynasty league, catch my drift?

    Draft Commentary -- Round 5

We got to him by 3, he said he'd be around until 3 or 3:30...he tends to misjudge his times, though. Let's hope he checks in before he goes, otherwise we're shut down.

    Draft Commentary -- Round 5

I like Shipp, I would be cocerned about that offense. Teams may be able to stack up againt the run if Boston and Plummer leave. Booker isnt a bad pick at all, not sure why you say that???
