8/4 update is ready. Per MK: I bumped up Rashad Jennings, Devontae Booker and Bilal Powell. Flip-flopped Michael Floyd and Fitz, and added all the old veterans that joined teams recently (Andre Johnson, James Jones, Reggie Bush).

Video to demonstrate how to input a trade in Draft Buddy involving draft picks and players. This is for a keeper league where kept players cost a draft pick, but even if you are curious about inputting trades in any league this will provide some guidance. All trades are input on the draft report tab. There are also some useful points about keeper leagues.

I had a Part I and a Part II to this video, but the sound was so bad on Part II I've since deleted it and will be making additional shorter videos to cover those topics. The main issue is covered in this one above re: Mac Office 365.

Hooray for Microsoft. They "improved" Excel once again on us. Draft Buddy does work in the latest version of Excel for Mac - part of the Office 365 suite - but one thing in particular that happens is the cheatsheets do not compile properly if you do it immediately after updating projections. The solution? Hit Compile Cheatsheets again. Here is a video showing me using Draft Buddy on Mac Office 365:

Great advice - don't want to forget to change the reset draft order (or reset keepers) options on the action tab after you have your keepers input and/or draft report tab set up properly the first time

Absolutely. That is why Site B and Site C options are there. They are blank in Draft Buddy for you (with Pal) to import projections. Once they are there then you can change the source of projections for your cheatsheets on the options tab.

Save some typing, copy league settings and scoring from last year. It has come to my attention very recently this may not work in the Office 365 version for Mac. If anyone else has any trouble with this feature then please reply and tell me Excel version and operating system. Thanks!

MK came up with a simple and easy solution to pull the right division results from those super-big MFL leagues with multiple leagues under one parent league umbrella. In the cell on the options tab instead of just putting the 5-digit league id, such as this: 77947 add the additional info from that second link in my prior post, like this for "DIVISION03": 77947&d=DIVISION03 It will trick Draft Buddy to pull the correct data from the URL link.

Thanks cpit. That is the setup I am having problems with too. I think that message is not giving us the true reason for the error, and as a result I haven't been able to come up with a solution for this yet. You will have to input the settings yourself in the 2016 version for now. Tip: you can manually copy the scoring tab from the old to new to save time ... highlight the table from upper-left to bottom-right, and use paste special > as values. That will save most of the time as the rules tab isn't very onerous.

MyFantasyLeague.com (MFL) integration, this time for keepers. Note it is current rosters, so you have to time it right if you just want the pure kept players on your keepers tab (after keepers set for current year, before draft or other transactions). Regardless whether players are on keepers or draft report tab they will all get marked as taken off the cheatsheets and included on the team rosters.

I am going to add on an email I sent to MK this morning as it is related to this topic. If you use the divisions feature at MFL (which I think is pretty rare ... not divisions in a normal league, more like multiple leagues under one MFL parent league) then read this:

Hi MHM. There is no direct import from a custom ESPN league. However, you can do one of the following: 1. Select ESPN using the drop-down on the scoring tab, import that as a starting point and then make whatever changes you need to so it matches your league. 2. Add your scoring to the My FF Today feature on the website. This would be very beneficial all season so then you can access custom online stats and projections to your scoring. Once that is done, then you can import the MyFFT scoring into Draft Buddy using the unique MyFFT league ID.
