    Status of Ronnie Brown?

Some reports I read are saying Ronnie Brown should be 100% by training camp, but I can't find anything very recent. Anyone have any insight on Browns health heading into training camp and how he will be used in 2010? (Ihave been offered him in a trade in a dynast league)

Thomas Jones out of New York?

Rewind one year, remember Thomas Jones was #1 on the "bust radar" then too? Anyone who took the chance on him in the mid rounds got 1st/2nd round value. In the right situation, he could be good again, it just SHOULDN'T be with the Jets. You see how they phased him out near the end of last year and how effective Shonn Greene was. It is Greene's time in NY!
  5. Is Deangello a free agent after this season? I am asking because I read on a "rumor" blog about his possible destinations, but it didn't say whether is was a FA or not. Does anyone know if he is under contract with the Panthers next season?
  6. Starting Thomas Jones, Boldin & DeSean for sure in a standard scoring, non-ppr leage. I need to start two of the following: Tomlinson @ Ten (safe bet to get 10 points again) Mendenhall v Bal (tough m/u but guarenteed touches) Hightower v StL (good m/u but seems like Wells is now the man) Reggie Wayne v NYJ (Revis factor and possibility of being pulled) Leaning towards LT and Mendenhall...any other thoughts? Also, at TE should I stick with Heath Miller v Bal or go with Dave Thomas v TB or Bo Scaife v SD? Love the m/u for both Thomas & Scaife, but may just play it "safe" with Heath....any ideas?

Next years Ray Rice type candidate?

Deep sleeper here but I say Shonn Greene. Thomas Jones will not be returning unless he drastically restructures his contract...plus he will be 31 yrs old. Leon Washington is a FA and he is coming off major surgery...not good for a player that relies on his speed and quicks. Finally, although Greene is not a very good receiving back at this point in his career, he runs hard and the Jets traded up in the draft to get him. I predict 1200+ total yards and 10+ tds next year.

    Waiver Wire Defenses

I would go Browns. I am going w/ the Falcons this week, but was thinking of the Browns. Depends which Oakland team shows up. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=360057

    Final game, RB/WR pick'em

I go MJD and Snelling (as long as Turner is out). If you p/u Harrison, put him in for Snelling. At WR I would def go Rice, but would probably go Meachem over Wayne. I just believe the Revis hype is for real. As for flex, either Hightower or Wayne, unless you get Harrison, then play him and Snelling. I would avoid Addai this week. I see INDY winning a low scoring, grind it out game. They WILL not overwork the injury-prone Addai. See Mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=360057

Championship game - leave a link

The only two I would be debating between are Charles & Wells, but think I would go with Charles. He has been red hot and has no real competition unlike Wells. Even if Charles struggles on the ground, he could get 60-100 yards thru the air. Good lick! See mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=360057
  11. Nor in PT's stats.......that is just it, when there is a split like this it makes everyone useless. The funny thing is, is that PT could be one of the best backs in the league if they woulg give him 18 or so carries and his normal 4-5 catches.
  12. I, myself am benching Pierre for Jennings believe it or not. Sick of Bell getting all the important touches.

    Cleveland Backfield rotation?

Considering Jennings v woeful Chiefs run D. Anyone have any inside info on how many touches Jennings, Harrison, Cribbs will get. National media only reports that Manginni is keeping everything hush-hush???

Time to give up hope on Pierre Thomas?

Ya, I am having real trouble deciding between Pierre...and Chris Jennings!!! Have Jennings starting now but may change it before tonights KO.
  15. I would go Ganther and Forsett as flex if possible and avoid Holmes and Jennings. Defensive struggle in that one I think.

    Studs with horrible match-ups?

Need to choose one in a standard, non-ppr: Tomlinson v Cin (3rd best v the run) Mendenhall v GB (2nd best v the run) Hightower @ Det (Lions are pathetic, but many weapons there) Thanks and leave link!
  17. Big underdog in a standard, non-ppr league. Need a starter alongside AP. Do I go with Pierre Thomas v Dal (Reggie & Mike Bell likely to return stealing carries)? Other options: C. Jennings, Cle @ KC (high upside?) Barber, Dal @ NO (RBBC & could be down early forcing Dal to throw a lot) leave link, will reply!

who do you play, tough call

In a standard, non-ppr league, along with Mendenhall & Thomas Jones at RB and Wayne & Boldin at WR, but am stuck between a number of players at flex. Which of the following would you go with: DeSean Jackson @ NYG - says he is playing and NYG have given up a lot of big plays Tomlinson @ DAL - tough match up but on a mini-streak and gets guaranteed touches Hightower @ SF - probably the "safest" of my flex options to get 10+ points Thanks and leave a link!
  19. Sneaked in the playoffs and really need to make the right decisions in order to have a shot to advance. This is a one point per reception league. I need to start 2 of the following: Sammy Morris v CAR (good m/u but how will he be used) Shonn Greene @ TB (good m/u, 10-12 touches or so, not a receiving back) Santanaa Moss @ OAK (not a good m/u but Redskins O has looked good lately) Kevin Boss v DAL (facing one of the worst in the NFL v. opp. TE's) Choose 2 in a ppr league. Leave a link, will answer!
  20. My current rostered QBs are Warner & Leinart, but Hasselbeck v SF and A. Smith @ SEA are available. Since I need a win to get in the playoffs, I hate the thought of possibly starting Leinart, but equally hate the thought of NOT starting Warner if he plays. Should I take this chance OR ignore the Cards situation altogether and pick up and play either Hasselbeck or Smith? Smith has looked good, but he does not have a high ceiling in that O & SEA D can be good @ home. Meanwhile, Hasselbeck has only passed 24 & 25 times the past two weeks. Are they really an upgrade over Leinart if I am forced to roll with him? Thanks!

    Warner

Ya, not having Warner is a problem!

    LT or Knowshon ?

Tough call. While LT will is a guarentee to score one, maybe two TDs, Moreno is almost a lock to get over the 100-mark. I doubt LT will get that many yards. Both do have great m/u's, but I would stick with LT who will add to his TD #s big time today. You never know how much Buckhaulter will cut into Morenos thunder either. Thanks for mine.

Need a win to stay in playoff contention

I like the l/u the way you have it except V.Young. I think he struggles today. A lot of TO's IMO. I really like Orton @ KC today. They are a terrible D. Also, if you can find a way to get Maclin in there I would. You do have good options at WR tho. Thanks for mine.
  24. #1LionFan

    Flacco or Palmer

voted Palmer. A lock for 2 td's today. If you are not going to use him today you may as well drop him. Thanks for mine!

    RB and WR Help

I would def go Forte and Maclin. If you ever use Forte this is the week & ATL det is BAD. DJax is out also making maclin #1 target. Thanks for mine!
