  1. My current rostered QBs are Warner & Leinart, but Hasselbeck v SF and A. Smith @ SEA are available.

Since I need a win to get in the playoffs, I hate the thought of possibly starting Leinart, but equally hate the thought of NOT starting Warner if he plays. Should I take this chance OR ignore the Cards situation altogether and pick up and play either Hasselbeck or Smith?

Smith has looked good, but he does not have a high ceiling in that O & SEA D can be good @ home. Meanwhile, Hasselbeck has only passed 24 & 25 times the past two weeks. Are they really an upgrade over Leinart if I am forced to roll with him?

    Thanks!

  2. Non-ppr, start 2 RB/2 WR/1 Flex:

I know that everyone says that Thomas Jones is a "must-start", but v NE, I don't know.

At RB I am starting Mendenhall & LT and at WR I am starting Wayne & DeSean Jackson.

Based on Jones' miserable history v NE, would you consider Boldin v StL at flex and benching Jones for this week?

Thanks and leave a link, will answer!!

  3. Talk me out of benching AP!!! I can only start 2 RBs in this non-ppr league.

I know AP should be a permanent fixture in lineups, but I am considering doing the unthinkable!!! I am considering benching AP v the Seahawks. My other two options are Pierre Thomas & Kevin Smith. I know this sounds insane but look at the numbers:

AP v SEA Def which is actually decent (105.0 rush yds/gm & 8 rush tds allowed total)

    P. Thomas v TB Def (167.3/10 tds)

    K. Smith v CLE Def (165.8/13 tds)

Would you consider rolling the dice and benching AP in this instance? If not, who do I start, Smith or Thomas?

    Leave link!!!

  4. I have Schaub at Indy and Hasselbeck going against Detroit at home. Matchup says roll with Hass right? Does it change knowing that Indy's secondary took another hit with Sanders on IR (along with 2 corners out)?

I would just hate to bench Hass then he go off like he did v. the Jags.

    Hass or Schaub???

  5. Please take a look at my roster and give advice/comments of areas to improve before the trade deadline/playoffs.

Scoring system is 1 pt for 20 yards pass, 3 pts for TD pass

    1 pt for 10 yards rush/rec, 6 pts for TD rush/rec

Roster is listed in my sig.

Will respond to yours with link.

Nice roster, would like to see some younger more explosive RBs, but not much you can do about that. Very competitive. And contrary to what the other poster said, unless I have an elite D, I always carry two Ds unless I just cannot. This allows me to play the m/u's on a weekly basis. This has always worked well for me. Depending on your scoring system, a D can give you a BIG advantage.

    Thanks for mine.

  6. Standard scoring, 14-team league.

So, I screwed up my team by trading Ray Rice before the season started, and am now chasing it.

    Would you trade:

Kevin Smith and Steve Smith (CAR)

    for

    Pierre Thomas and Derrick Mason

Thanks, I will reply to yours.

I would probably do it to get Pierre. He has a great sched coming up and Smith has a horrible one. The diff in WRs is not that great. Mason more consistent and Smith more explosive.

    Thanks for mine.

  7. Honestly, there's so many TE options on the waiver wire, it doesn't make sense to me to trade WR's & RB's to obtain a position with good options on the waiver wire. I lost Cooley in a 12 team $ league, and I'm currently running a Zach Miller/Fred Davis committee.

If that were true in my league I would agree. However, the only TEs worth grabbing on waivers are Boss, Mercedes Lewis and maybe D. Lee and Dreessen.

  8. After losing Owen Daniels I am stuck without a TE.

Would you trade Boldin, Hightower OR Mendenhall for Olsen, Celek OR Shaincoe. If so, which player would you trade and which TE would you target? Leaning toward trading Hightower for Celek, but Timmy does give me 10+/gm???

Otherwise, I could p/u Kevin Boss off waivers for free but am afraid this is too big a drop-off.

Non-PPR; we start two RBs, two WRs and a flex:

    RB - T. Jones/Greene

    RB - LT/Sproles

    WR - Wayne

    WR - De. Jackson

Flex- Mendenhall, Hightower, Boldin - which flex option do I trade?

    TE - ???????

  9. Questions are from 2 different pools. Scoring in Sig.

    Pool 1

Start 1 of: Fred Jax, Lynch, T. Choice, Mendenhall or M Moore?

Start 1 of: Heap or Carlson?

    Pool 2

Start 2 of: Sims-Walker, Cotchery, Housh, Mendenhall, M Moore?

Thanks and good luck this week.

    Choice, Carlson, Cotchery

  10. Someone must be big on McFadden so he offered me Thomas Jones and Roy Williams for him. He also said he wouls trade out Williams for either Manningham, Hester or S. Holmes.

    1) would you do this trade?

    2) if so, which WR would you want? I am thinking I would stick with Roy

  11. Standard scoring, non-ppr.

I need to start 3 of the following:

Ray Rice (great m/u despite McGahee there) v CLE

Pierre Thomas (Bell is out) @ BUF

    L. McCoy (assume Westy is playing) v KC

Westbrook (Q-he will play but how much does he give up to McCoy?)

Benson (ankle injury and Pit rush D=probable bench)

    Ochocinco v Pit

    Leaning toward the following:

    RB - Rice

RB - Westy if active, otherwise McCoy

    Flex- Pierre (considering Ocho tho)

    Thanks and leave a link!
