    Victor Cruz

Quit being such a baby. If you really were looking for someone who actually watched the game that could comment on his performance then why didn't you ask that in your original post???? And since your post was basically bashing Cruz, gcmmidwest said you should have posted in the FU thread which was good advice.

    Packers vs. Falcons Official Thread

That's fine with me. I have Jennings but I've already won my game. Go falcons.

    Jonathan Dwyer anyone?

Nope I'm a GT fan so I know very well who he is and he was awesome at Tech so I was wondering what Steelers homers thought that actually saw the game. At Tech he was a pretty powerful runner. I know the situation currently isn't that great for the other RBs there so I wanted some opinions.

    Jonathan Dwyer anyone?

107 yards and a catch for 6 yards. I realize he had 1 carry for 76 yards but still it looks like he got decent work even after that (11 carries). Any comments from those that saw the game?

    Michael Vick - He's Back

This is a fantasy football website. His numbers were not bad. But yeah in reality he is sucking.

    Start McFadden and Bush

Totally different and not as crazy. Starting a WR1 and WR2 from same team in what should be a high scoring game, compared to starting a RB1 and backup RB that has a significantly smaller role from same team, are two totally different beasts. Now this is the NFL so anything can happen but based on the facts an stats we have you should be better off than the DMC, Bush combo (it's not even a RBBC team, Bush's role is just more situational).

    Start McFadden and Bush

Bush has had 3,8,13,18 points in my PPR league. Even though the trend is more points per week I feel he is a situational player in that his use depends on the game situation since he has DMC that limits his use. However with Sproles we already know his role with NO and so far so good and he has had 27,21,24,20 points. I know I am using my PPR league numbers but if you do a little work and just look at the nonPPR numbers you may see that Sproles is more consistent. What if Houston shuts down Oakland's run game like they kind of did Pitts?

    This trade is pending

Way to manage other people's teams for them. It would be interesting to know what the starting lineups look like after the trade would have happened. If team 2 plays Garcon and Torain (or even just one of them) then that means he thought they would actually perform. If not, then maybe he was just trading Cam to Team 1 and they were colluding. But as it stands from what you tell us we don't see any collusion so the trade should go through. Just because you think one team is getting hosed doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to trade because it is their opinions that the players involved would improve their teams.

    Hey Tolbert owners

Sounds like Norv wants to get him to that 24-25 carries a game level... Thu, Oct 6 RB Ryan Mathews averaging 16 carries a game, but coach Norv Turner said he'd like to expand that. Mathews is on pace to produce 2,168 total yards, and an increased workload could lift those projections. "If we can get him in that 24- to 25-carry range," Turner said, "it's going to help him." Wes Welker: Buy or Sell?

Even if he has normal man numbers this week because he's facing the jets, nothing makes me think super wes won't be right back the next week. He's on fire! If OP needs a RB then I'd go for that guy's top RB if he has one better than Beanie. Beanie is ok but Welker is the best WR right now set up to have a record shattering year. Especially if you are in a PPR.

    Am I crazy?

There was one person on this planet that didn't know it was Minnie Mouse and you just screwed that up.

    Hey Tolbert owners

In my league Mathews is 6th and Tolbert is 8th among RBs in a PPR format. Mathews is somewhat more consistent in his points (14,25,30,19) since Tolbert had the huge week 1 (36,14,7,17). They are both going to get points but it seems Mathews is used as the more traditional RB and has way more rushing yards than Tolbert. The receiving is about the same as well with Tolbert having a few more catches and 2 TDs but less yards. I haven't watched SD outside of the NE game. Just adding some stats to the conversation. I agree that it seems either RB would be a fine RB2 for fantasy purposes but it looks like Mathews currently has the edge.

    Why Keep Gates?

But does he promote synergy? I guess I will have to play him based only on this reply and now I have that song stuck in my head.

    Why Keep Gates?

Is McMichael a good play? I was thinking about picking up Kevin Boss as well. He had decent numbers last week 4/78 or something like that. Looking for a bye week fill in this week for Witten.
  15. If his league has no rule about a time limit for challenging scores then how can a challenge be denied for the previous 3 weeks? Just because you think a week is reasonable? How is it consistent and fair to let a rules scoring error decide the wrong winners? Anyways, we will not see eye to eye on this subject and I agree with some of your points. The moral of this is to not get tricky with scoring. Why reward extra points to a guy that just threw for 400 yards? He is going to have a ton of points anyway.

    Julio Jones come out party

If you have all four of them your team will be very good for years to come.
  17. It's like you are failing to see the real situation happened only 4 weeks in and it isn't anywhere near as difficult to correct as you are making it out to be. Who cares if it would have or could have happened in week 9 or later? It didn't.
  18. Everyone agreed to the scoring going into week 1 and the site messed up the scoring since week 1. You should adjust the scores. The points not rewarded could come into play later in the season if 2 teams have the same record. I really don't see this as that big of a deal. If some guy complains because he loses a win just remind him that the site messed the scoring up and he really never would have won in the first place. It is up to you if you want to call him a wuss bag or not. What other alternative is there? It would help to go back and see how many games really were affected. But, I think my point above about total points still stands. If you don't go back and adjust ALL scores then at the end of the year you might run into an issue dealing with total points. Just nip it in the bud now. Stick with the scoring rules that everyone agreed on at the beginning of the season. Good luck.

Who is a surprise so far?

Welker. He was my second WR taken after going RB, QB, WR, RB so I got him in the 5th round in a 12 team league. I don't think anyone expected numbers like he has been putting up.

    Bold Predictions Week 4

Perhaps a little too bold. Also, great call on Steve Smith and Cam's good times being over. They really sucked it today compared to Roy.

    Bold Predictions Week 4

I think Knox just replaced him in the starting lineup.

    Frank Gore

The "pathetic" Panthers will be behind in a lot of games requiring Cam to pass. The rookie QB started the year off with 2 400+ yard passing games. Smith may very well disappear but the Panther's will probably be passing a lot this year so someone has to get the targets.

    Frank Gore

I think Smith has a chance to have a fine season. His only bad game is where Cam was not able to throw as much because of the rain. The season may be up and down for Cam and Smith but I think they will put up decent numbers. I don't think overrated qualifies as a descriptor for Smith considering what he has done with mediocre QBs his entire career.

    Saints place Hartley on IR

Thanks for the info. I had been looking to replace Kasay with someone else since I was figuring Hartley would be back in a few weeks.

    Reggie Bush

This was a great move. I figured Bush could continue to put up around 15 points in PPR leagues. I didn't figure he would suck as bad as he has the last 2 weeks. In my league pretty much all RBs worth anything are taken. So I am keeping him hoping they figure out a way to utilize him. In reality he can help a team if he's healthy and used the correct way (as a pass catching RB).
