    Jay Ajayi traded to Eagles

This was already answered after his performance last weekend.

    Bench AB?

Hard to bench someone that has had 45 targets over 4 games.

San Francisco 49ers at Atlanta Falcons

I would say atlanta is just not used to big time events like this but we have the sec championship, chickfila bowl, braves post season success over the years, etc. I think the hawks hosted a playoff series recently. I bet security jumped on those guys right away. They are probably both going to be charged with something. If they weren't using metal detectors then that is just stupid. I could also see security being lazy about it. One time I was flying to the philippines and went from atl to las vegas on a connecting flight and in vegas they found a knife in one of the secret compartments in my carryon that I totally forgot about. I was able to mail it somewhere. Atlanta sure let it slip by.

San Francisco 49ers at Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta lacks a killer instinct. It's obvious after the Seattle and this game that their offense is good enough to get a jump on anyone but Ryan loses it later in the game. I think they need a better running back to help the team out. And improvement on the defense. I knew it would be a close game. Or I was hoping for a close game. I think it's funny how some people here were so positive that SF would steamroll them. Maybe the coaches don't make the right adjustments in time while the other team does and comes back easily.

San Francisco 49ers at Atlanta Falcons

We don't know the whole story. Maybe the 49'ers fan did something before the falcons fan did anything. Also, who brings a knife to a stadium. If security checked him they would take it. It really doesn't matter. I am thinking they are both probably jerks. Why would anyone stab someone in the neck in a public venue like that? Does he think he's not going to get in trouble even if he was in the right. Haha.
  6. One thing you can compare is that it is easy to say atl is better than chicago and new orleans. As a team. Not so sure about NE or GB. It doesn't work to compare qb's like that. And it doesn't work to compare reg season wins either. For example it doesn't. matter that seattle beat SF and atl beat seattle. I'm hoping for a good showing from atlanta and more focus and error free football like they had during the reg season. They dont do that and they will lose. Seattle made a lot of mistakes to help the falcons. I want a close game.
  7. No one here really said he was clutch but you just proved you haven't seen many falcon's games because ryan has had plenty of 4th qtr comeback wins. And now he has one in the playoffs.
  8. Yes. There is no way the players take off the last 30 sec off after that comeback. If they do then you are saying your team really sucks. You think they weren't focused on making sure there would be no fg try?
  9. Why would the seahawks have been sleeping the last 30 seconds?
  10. Uh.....I guess you haven't been paying attention to anything before this game? I don't care if he had a subpar 2nd half he threw the passes that allowed his team to kick a game winning FG and first playoff win during his era. Everyone was talking about how he couldn't get it done.
  11. Agreed. Falcons have just removed a big monkey off their backs.

    Seahawks - Falcons

If the falcons abandon the running game, the rest of the offense is a top 5 QB and 3 top 26 WRs (something like 9,11, and 26 for Gonzo). And many people have said the running game is nonexistent but that's not really true. Turner has lost a bit as the years have gone by but sometimes he produces and many times he produces at the end of games because the D is wearing out (plus they give quizz and snelling carries). Best case for seattle is probably if Lynch has a great game and the D plays like they can. Seahawks are good. I am hoping for a close game (or of course a falcon's blowout but a good seattle team probably won't let that happen, and vice versa meaning a close game). I really think the Falcons D and team are playing better and more focused this year than the past recent years. You know Gonzo wants to get it done. They all do, it just depends on who can stay focused and play error free football.

    Seahawks Chances @ Atlanta

Probaby another member that didn't want to use their real username which is pretty weak. If not, it's also fairly weak to just join a site to bash another member. Haha.

    Seahawks Chances @ Atlanta

I am a lifetime Falcon's fan and think this team is quite a bit different than the past few year's teams especially on D and focus on error free football (I know Ryan had a couple of bad games but even the 5 int game they won). Saying that, I can always see them coming up short, and Seattle is a good team. Falcons seem more focused this season.

    Gates.....no practice wed,thurs.

I see that he did at least return to practice on Thursday... Thu, Sep 13 Gates (ribs) returned to practice Thursday, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. Recommendation: Gates is no stranger to missing practices or being limited in them, but there's no indication that his Week 2 status is in any doubt due to his currently banged up ribs. Is Rodgers going to make a top ten?

Geez. Maybe people should target trying to trade for Rodgers right now. Based on past data, I can only assume GB will still be very capable offensively.

Bench one WR out of four

    I agree with this reply.
  18. My 12 team league members for some reason mostly decided to draft 2 defenses. I waited until the end and Cincy was the best available and their week 1 matchup is at Balt on Monday. Minnesota is available and I could use them against Jax in the dome. Seems like Minn is the better play. Does anyone agree or just roll with Cincy onn Mon night? Only available D's: KC vs Atl SD @ Oak Cle vs Phi Wash @ NO Minn vs Jax StL @ Det Car @ TB TB vs Car Indy @ Chi Would really appreciate some advice.

    Done with H2H only leagues

I disagree. I have been in a league with friends for the past 20 years and the same teams are consistently the most competitive and usually at the top. Of course luck plays into it to some degree every year but the "luck factor" is usually not one sided meaning if someone has some bad luck they will eventually have better luck (provided they have decent players). This means the way the consistently good teams have drafted and play during the season (trades and WW) means they are usually the best teams even in the H2H format. Of course, over 20 years there have been teams that had consistently bad luck the whole year or good luck the whole year but that isn't usually the case. If you have a mediocre team that just scores an average amount each week you are likely to run into the hot teams that will either 1) give you a regular season loss that will eventually add up to a bad record, and/or 2) give you a season ending loss in the playoffs. It is hard to maintain that good "luck" in beating the good teams in the league for the whole year in order to become the league champ.

    Done with H2H only leagues

I like H2H. It makes things interesting. That being said, I had top record and most points this year and it looks like the 8-6 team that barely made it in is going to beat me. And out of the top 4 teams in the playoffs I will have the 2nd most points this week so I would have beaten the other two teams. It's happened before and I am sure it will happen again. That is just the way it works out sometimes.

    Adrian Peterson

I usually agree with the "they get paid to play" stance, but only if the player is 100% healthy. If not 100% and it is your best player on the team and you are out of the playoffs, then they should consider not rushing him in when he is not 100% healthy in order to protect their investment, like someone already stated earlier in this thread. A player that is not 100% runs additional risk to get further injured. It is just common sense.

    Risky vs Safe

I think it just always depends on your specific situation. IMO, the more risks you take the better chance exists for getting those really subpar performances. But sometimes it pays off. I am in a bad situation so far for my playoff game. I am playing a team that just barely made it into the playoffs and the team is playing hot for the past few weeks. And because of the early games they have a huge lead with Romo and White. The players they have left are not that great but if any of them have a good to great performance then I think I am definitely done. I have only played Witten and he did ok for PPR. At least they also played Gonzo and MJD. MJD did ok for PPR but without scoring any TDs his total was just average. But anyway, back on topic, because of this situation I decided to not play LRob yesterday and use Demariyus Thomas along with Tebow today. I felt using LRob was playing it safe because in the matchup with the Bucs I thought Romo had the chance to spread it around to all the WRs (which he did) and with Thomas against NE, Tebow has the chance to throw for some yardage and also rush well too. So far so good. LRob scored but in PPR he only had about 11 points. Thomas can easily top that, and if not then the diff in points should not be as much. In order to catch up with Romo and White I need better performances than what LRob had. FF is part skill and luck. Usually luck plays a bigger role.

Dallas Cowboys at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

I am playing against Romo - Ugh. And the guy also had White on Thursday. Please rest Romo. We wouldn't want him to get hurt. The game is already in the bag.
