It amazes me that people still seriously suggest this. It's almost as if they never played sports on any high school level or above. It's not sustainable. It looks good when they do it because they have not completely gassed themselves yet and as someone else already mentioned, it tends to happen in times where the defense is playing soft coverage. Now if you want to say why don't they run it a bit more often? Like every 4th drive or something, okay. That might be plausible. Or just play with a slightly greater sense of urgency (3-4 seconds off the play clock, or mix in a few more quick snap plays).. but it's definitely not going to be as successful if you run it 100% of the time

I’ve yet to get rid of any knives because they didn’t last. More so I just liked the look of something different and even then I’ve had 2 knife “sets”. I assume my food tastes relatively the same no matter what I cut it with during prep or after . I occasionally sharpen them. Maybe I should take my knives more seriously (I’m being serious)

obviously from my previous comment, I'm not a knife guy. Can't you get a Henckels knife set for $100-$200, maybe $250? (this i did not know without looking up) and isn't henckels made in chiner with zwillings being made in germany? (this i vaguely remember someone telling me in the past)

the main bored is a sad shell of what it used to be. it was the reason I joined. discussion and debate used to be great with people who knew football. lots of people and lots of differing opinions and ff theory. I was just letting you know what Lidl was in general. I discovered it around 2017 and there was a convenient location on my way home from work at the time. When egg prices were out the azz, I would get mine from Lidl instead of ShopRite, for example. Same with almond milk. (I prefer whole milk but I don't use milk enough for it to not go bad and I do like almond) I suppose I prefer Califia Farms but Lidl almond milk is perfectly good and like half the price also no matter where you shop, in so many cases the store brand item is the exact same thing as the name brand item, just with a different label. Not all of the time, but more than you probably think... it's just marketing.

Lidl is similar to Aldi. I've only been maybe twice this year as it's not as convenient for me as it used to be but I used to go all the time. I've always tried to shop smartly if it doesn't cause me to go out of the way of my normal routines. Lidl has always been less expensive than the traditional supermarkets around me. "name brand" stuff is cheaper, and their own label stuff is usually a great deal. Again, people get fooled into thinking generic is worse. If you need a specific type of asiago cheese, yes, you need that brand.... but your canned corn is not going to be any different.

Maye is theoretically doing more with less not throwing to Puka and Adams.... More yards, less TDs, more INTs, higher completion percentage. They are neck and neck but again, Maye is throwing to Diggs, Henry, Pop Douglas.... If the season were ending today, it probably should be Maye but would be Stafford because the whole career achievement aspect will come into play and Stafford has never won a league MVP.

oh no, are you one of those people who get fooled by name brand stuff or think that target store brand is any different than any grocery store brand? of course making your own sides from scratch with quality ingredients is preferred but most people are not doing that for every aspect of their t-day meal

They either come to me or the meetup location is 3 minutes away. My uncle passed last October and starting Feb 2025 I listed some of his stuff I inherited. Mostly items he had me listing before he passed. I cleared 3k with the highest single item being an antique dresser for $450, and used the funds to pay for all the dinners on a big family vacation in May in his honor. I’ve also snagged a few free items when they pop up on my feed and are local and flipped them for fun. Coffee tables, trunks, lamps… got an old writers desk that I fixed up but decided to keep it and made it a mini bar.

I just don't have the patience to ship items in general. I used to list antiques on CL and FB for my uncle before he passed so I started listing my own stuff as well. A few times I have agreed to ship via FB if the buyer e-mails me a pre paid shipping label and if they pay me through venmo friends and family... but that is rare. Mostly I stick to local pickup and cash. They either come directly to me or a store parking lot convenient to me.

So if we all recognize that, why has there been so much debate since my comment? The entire driving point behind what I said was that this coaching staff may not make Henderson the workhorse... meaning Stevenson will get plenty of touches. No one is saying Stevenson will be the "lead" back or that Hendersons role will suddenly be nothing after the weeks he has had. But if Stevenson approaches double digit carries each week once he is back and a couple targets out of the backfield, Henderson will not produce the same fantasy results. Henderson averaged 3.3 on 19 carries against the Jets, other RBs had 3 carries. Last week Henderson had 14, other backs had 5. He's also been under 4 ypc in more than half the Pats games. My hope is that he continues to get double digit carries and continues to get 4+ looks in the pass game instead of the weeks where he was getting 0, but I still think he makes for a great sell high. If you can package Henderson and another player for a stud RB whose role we know for certain, then worst case scenario Stevenson never regains a role beyond handcuff status and Henderson is great but you still acquired a stud RB.

I thought they were probably the best "rivalries" uniform I have seen so far this year. gray/blue color was nice... helmets were decent
