While I am open to a nice round 10 participants, don't forget some of our events like the Sentry and a few of the elevated events are smaller fields right? Didn't we have to limit the drafts to 5 instead of 6 on a few occasions last year with 9 drafters? Granted we can always adjust to draft 4, count 3/no cut etc.

First of all, why isn’t he a head coach yet? And let’s not say racism when guys like Todd Bowles and Lovie Smith keep getting jobs. I’ve heard some rumblings that he’s in consideration for the Colts job… But most of what I’m seeing is about teams requesting to interview him for OC. Ravens, Commanders, Texans… I understand his contract with KC is coming up and it might just come down to money if there is no HC spot available, but if I’m him why would I want to OC somewhere that isn’t KC? I feel like leaving the team with the best QB and TE in the league can do nothing but hurt your luster when it comes to ever possibly being a head coach.

as an avid listener of the Michael Kay show (even though I hate the Yankees), I do agree with him that baseball and it's fans should be willing to try anything that could improve the sport or fix a problem. Ratings are still down, they still don't get new young viewers the way the NFL or NBA does... which is really saying something considering how bad the NBA has become. I just don't see how this improves the game or what it fixes. Speeding up the game needed to happen. The pitch clock and all the other little rules like minimum batters faced for a relief pitcher, amount of times a batter can step out of the box, pick off attempts etc.... that all made sense. Doesn't have a huge fundamental impact on the game but allows it to be more watchable for TV viewers. (* side note, I actually hate it for the handful of games I go to in person. I would rather spend a nice afternoon or evening eating, drinking, bullshitting and casually watching a game for 4 hours) Even the runner at second base, which is a stupid rule and no surprise they don't use it come playoff time, can at least be traced back to speeding up the game. Making it easier for teams to score, even if both teams have the same advantage, makes it more likely that extra inning games wont go 16-18 innings. Is baseball not attracting viewers because Shohei Otani only gets to bat 5 times instead of 6? He doesn't get to bat two times in a row in the bottom of the ninth against the other teams closer? Managers submit a lineup for a reason. There is strategy for who to pitch to or pitch around during a game. Runner on 2nd, open base, bottom of the 9th and a 2 run lead? Let's walk Judge. Oh now he gets to potentially bat twice in a row? The number 1 thing that would improve the sport for fans across the country is a salary cap.

Depends how you choose to look at it. Because it fits your stance better, you're choosing to look at it from the viewpoint of the people who might want to do this (parents, children). You're not taking into account all the naturally born females in the sport, at all age levels. It only takes 1 to impact those people.

I'd need to know more about the weird science involved in this before saying what impact it could have on sports. I started golfing at like 8 years old. by the 5th grade I wanted to be a pro golfer. In HS, we didn't have a boys team and a girls team. If you were a girl you simply had to be good enough. So if I was 8 year old me, and I had some golf skill and my parents wanted a meal ticket, could they start conditioning me to think maybe I really am more of a girl... transition "before puberty" and get a women's golf scholarship? So If I had transitioned before hitting puberty, there is absolutely no way I could then ease off whatever testosterone blockers and other drugs i'd need to be taking and wind up with a bit of that male advantage? I'm genuinely asking. I have no idea

Interesting final week. Biffster can clinch the #1 seed with a win. With a loss... Shore, WW, AD, Clocaine all still alive for the #1. #2 seed still up for grabs amongst AD, Cloaca, Shore (Biff and WW as well if Biff loses) Final playoff spot is down to Rusty, Twinsdad and Herb. Herb is a game back but has a significant lead in points scored tie breaker. Losses for rusty and Twins and a win by Herb would get it done.

Barkley, Henry, Brian Robinson/Ekeler, james cook... I really can't think of a talented RB who is greatly hurt by his running QB, even if they do vulture the occasional TD. I think the issue for Taylor, with Richardson is Richardson being so bad in the pass game compared to Josh Allen, Jayden Daniels, Hurts, Lamar etc.
