He was your huckleberry and you felt he would beat Trump again until your party and your media forced him to withdraw, even though he has all his faculties at 100% are you now denying this? -

VPN I am more familiar with. Just wasn't sure if the old IP release / renew commands would at least change you devices IP address so that someone couldn't say "oh it's definitely a gutterboy alias!". But yes, I suppose mike would see the modem IP. thanks -

not much of an IT guy but couldn't someone, in the above situation, just IP release > IP renew? wouldn't that render Mike unable to be fully certain it's someone's alias, even if the IP addresses are a similar location? genuinely asking, I have no clue or if those old command prompts even work these days -

I was confused by the part where you said the Rams were favored. I thought they were dogs the whole time. nevermind, not important -

okay i was confused by this, then. -
It seems democrats lost a lot of money while Trump was president. At least a few of you mentioned this.

So first of all, this thread and specifically my post is discussing the past. 2017-2020 under Trump and 2021-2024 under Biden. My post was detailing how I did during both time periods and the fact that for me, even though it's been largely fine under Biden, it was better under Trump. It's not a Trump vs. Harris post. So I don't really understand why you are asking about Trumps policies for the upcoming election.... I assume you are not asking about his policies from his last term because you said "will fight inflation" which insinuates fighting inflation moving forward. My answer to that needless question would start with illegal immigration, since that has a big trickle down effect on inflation in our country. I am also a fan of his proposed tax breaks on overtime pay, tips and SS income. -

I have done pretty well with AI based stocks during the Biden admin, but overall I found it a lot easier to profit on a wider range of sectors during the Trump admin. 401K and IRA have gone up substantially during both but % wise, more during Trump. There have also seemed to be more dips during the Biden admin which I don't worry about for the retirement accounts and actually enjoy for my active trading purposes. But cost of living is up substantially more and the rate of my income increasing compared to the rate of cost of living increasing was much more in line with each other from 2017-2020 -

I got the Rams as dogs. I'm sure the line shifted after I stopped paying attention. -

clocaine may be falling to 4-4. time to edit the thread title -
meh. If the Commanders were the more deserving team, they probably would have converted a few TD's earlier in the game instead of settling for 5 FG attempts. The Bears did look like crap and like the much worse team for most of the game but they had some nice drives late. Both teams looked more like they were trying not to lose than trying to win.

The NFL product on the field across the board - GARBAGE

Daniels was tackled on a 3rd down run. The ball was placed. the refs brought out the chains and measured. Watching the replay it looked like they got the spot correct based on where the ball was when his shin touched the ground. I don't believe Washington challenged the spot but I could be wrong. Just saying I saw a measurement yesterday. Can't say I've been bothering to look all season

someone else beat me to mentioning Tiger Woods. I think its a pretty good analogy. The problem for Watson is that he won't get a chance to work through this and come out of it as the old Watson, the NFL will move on from him as it mostly already has... Golf being an individual sport allowed Tiger to work through his issues and get his head right and return to greatness at his own pace.

I saw a measurement in the chicago washington game after a Daniels run. His shin was down and the ball was inches short. It was a good spot but they measured it anyway

If/when Trump wins how many of you democrats will run for safety?
WhiteWonder replied to jbycho's topic in The Geek Club
and you don't need to... obviously. so long as you don't also act like the world has ended, when you know damn well most things will go on as usual. -

My very first though is of the liberal woman who went to the inauguration in protest and became a famous meme because she got caught on camera in a neon vest screaming like her family had been murdered. That woman's acted as if her entire world and life was falling apart because Donald Trump was the president. In reality, it only changed because of her choices that day. Had she simply stayed home, she would have realized that her life would be very little changed over the following 4 years. She certainly would not have experienced anything close to causing her reaction that day. So many people act like their elected officials, especially POTUS, has a profound impact on their daily lives when it really doesn't. Sure, there will be some policy trickle down effects but lets be honest.... if we pretend we actually live in a democracy (hint: we don't) then these cries of dictatorship and threat to democracy are extremely hollow given that we already experienced 4 years of a Trump presidency with none of that, and we have certain checks and balances in place to make sure that doesn't happen. I assume they all will be moving to Mexico or Canada? -
Rudy ordered to give penthouse to Georgia election workers
WhiteWonder replied to Mike Honcho's topic in The Geek Club
I am hypothetically saying he'd be entitled to his freedom of speech. And they are certainly entitled to file a lawsuit if they feel they suffered defamation damages. It's not really an open and shut case since they have to prove they suffered actual damage and how much they should be compensated for it. After reading the article you linked and the statements by the plaintiffs, I seriously question how much of that is embellished whenever I see people saying "they don't feel safe anywhere they go" I tend to roll my eyes. It also seems weird that they were presenting their case to the Capitol riot committee? Not sure why that was. Also sounds like they were accusing him of destroying evidence but that was proven false. either way im not a Rudy Guiliani fan, I just found this thread and this topic to be interesting. -

yeah so, they filed the lawsuit.. as opposed to a larger agency or group that they worked for. I am someone who believes we live in a very litigious society so I am always skeptical of true motivations in a lawsuit, how much damage was actually caused, etc. I would say his freedom of speech argument goes out the window once he admits (or doesn't dispute) his statements were false and thus defamatory. But if he did dispute it, even if most people believe they are false statements, he is certainly entitled to an opinion and his freedom of speech, no?
