With limited rosters, as you say, no need to feel weak at QB or even roster 2 until week 8 for you.... Goff as a QB1 is questionable just in terms of ADP but hes been top 10 two years in a row. Penix offers some upside and if you feel you need to roster another, that is who I would add. I can't imagine there is not a better DST out there, especially with the matchup week 1 for Cleveland. WR are weak as I am down on Puka with Stafford back and Adams arrival, and down on Wilson because of Fields/run heavy offense. Meyers asked for a trade and Vegas signed Cooper... Kupp could be a nice surprise while healthy. I like the top 3 RBs. I assume you went Achane/Puka... Wilson/? LaPorta? Swift? ... just focusing on the first 4 rounds, i'd be curious what else was available when you picked at 12/13... but more so when you picked in rounds 3/4... both Swift and LaPorta feel like 5th rounders and while both might go earlier in the 5th and you'd miss them, I might argue there are just as good options at the end of 5. So yeah, I don't love it. If there is a team weak at RB and strong at WR I might try to flip Aaron Jones for some WR help.

Draft tonight. After the draft I will be using an order randomizer to draw our new divisions for this season 1-4/5-8/9-12 as a few people had asked that we switch them up this season. The final step will be to set the schedule so that everyone plays their division opponents 2x and each other team 1x. good look, gents.

The draft has been 8/28 9pm est for a while now. We only started tossing around possible new dates when Rusty said he had a conflict.

hole in ones are an odd thing. I know more bad golfers with them than I do decent-good golfers. Good golfers odds should be better because they are hitting more greens or landing the ball around the green for a lucky bounce more often but it seems to me that a good golfer is going to be hitting a lot of shots onto the green, 20 feet away, maybe the ball rolls a foot or two forward or spins back a foot. It's a good look at birdie but it has no real shot of going in the hole. Then you have the bad golfer who hits one thin, it lands 30 yards short of the green, rolls on and in the hole.

i'd still have picked Harman (over Cam Young) if he wasn't picking himself. If he had picked himself, i leave Burns off. Cantlay just makes too much sense as Xanders partner.

I can see a big year from DK. He's not the most polished route runner and Rodgers doesn't exactly like that, but he also doesn't exactly have any real competition for targets. For FF purposes though, you'll need to grab him in round 4, most likely, so I don't think you can wait until the middle rounds. Maybe top of Rd. 5

annnnd just lost my best SP for the season

I drafted him in round 6 of my first real draft with the expectation of 6 (hoped for 4) games missed mid season. I also did this because the nature of how I drafted meant I did not even need Rice to be a flex player. I was viewing him as a bonus starter for weeks 1-4 and 12 on. I think I probably feel better about getting the 6 games out of the way and viewing him as a rd2/3 value being added to my roster in week 7.
