Giants officially release Mark Glowinski

can't complain, the bones were kind to me this year. as soon as I saw Padres picking ahead of me and Baltimore, I figured Snell was a lock for round 2 and with the Cardinals after me I was able to get my top 2 players who are head an shoulders above... and my top 3 choices overall. maybe the fantasy baseball gods felt i deserved a break after Pedo Franco

ive never had a sweet tooth. Always preferred the "salty snacks". I think i've had a cool ranch dorito addiction since elementary school . For me, french onion dip would take away from the experience. If i'm trying to make a nacho cheese dorito better, sure. But i'd rather stick to plain ruffles with my dip. But if you're not a cool ranch dorito addict like myself, then it's understandable. I can see how they go well with dip

These were the buffalo wing ones... they were awesome Doritos Jacked Ranch Hot Wings
-
Cool Ranch never gets old/gross for me. Classic Nacho Cheese is okay in moderation. I don't remember the exact name but at one point they had a buffalo wing flavor that was awesome. I assume they stopped making them, sadly. All the others are pretty gross

I think I came close at the genesis -
It did seem weird but with the type of deals Boras is doing with his clients, I could have seen the Angels being good with him leaving after a season. Then again he has some draft pick compensation tied to him, unlike Montgomery

I forgot about that thread thanks -
I mostly waited on that pick because the angels were among the rumored teams for Snell… could have picked him sooner but with my luck as soon as I made the pick there would have been an announcement he signed in LA

minimum 69 players in the field. Could be a few more based on this week. Sucks but since there will be a cut, I assume we will be drafting 6 so drafting 54 players in the field. -

I suppose it probably doesn't matter for the first round or 2. maybe we just draft a little slower. field is -

Just a thought. do we want to start on Tuesday or at least intentionally draft a bit slower? I think there are still golfers who can qualify for Bay Hill through the Aon yada yada and whatever nonsense and possibly the tournament winner and it will be a Monday finish …. -
not really. Need to see where he goes first. Kincaid was a popular target last year but was just so-so in fantasy because Knox was still around. If he ends up in a situation like LaPorta, with a good QB, in a good offense and no other TE.... that's the recipe a rookie TE needs, otherwise could be another Pitts situation. Plus Bowers isn't much of a blocker at all. We've seen those guys take a bit more time to become something.

Gooch is a tool. Pretty sure there was a reason he’s not on DJs LIV team anymore. I think most of them blame the PGA/R&A because of the bans. Without the bans, they would be able to play in events that do currently award OWGR points. Again, they absolutely knew what they signed up for. I don’t agree with the bans, I think it’s childish and reactionary, but these guys were well aware they would be banned.
-
No. The PGA tour has no say over the masters, or the majors. Even the pga of America (pga championship) is not the same as the pga tour. They have no say in world ranking points being distributed (I’m sure they have a great deal of influence) but they did lobby to have LIV players banned from all the majors, iirc. That was kind of my point. “Feelers”. I do agree that those who chose to sign with LIV should not be complaining. But they also have every right to lobby themselves for world ranking points. Most other golf tours get them. It’s a world ranking system.

So the main difference with your football example is that the state makes the rules and is the main governing body…. The PGA doesn’t make the rules when it comes to ability to play in the majors or in determining who can earn world rankings points. what I’ve talked about from the very beginning is the PGA being hypocritical because they never banned golfers from competing in events on other tours before. They never lobbied the majors to exclude golfers who mainly play on other tours etc because the PGA was the one poaching the talent. The biggest euro stars would eventually move to the US and play a full PGA schedule, for example. They are doing it with LIV because it’s the first time they feel threatened (even though LIV has never said their golfers can’t play in other events). So the banning of players was pretty big feelers. Sure there are some guys who would never play any PGA events but there are also plenty who would. They watered down a lot of their own events out of spite. A lot of people cling to “these guys can’t have their cake and eat it too” type argument but, why not? Just because another golf league formed and their business model includes contracting talent? Someone like Rory for example was always able to compete for the fedex cup AND the race to Dubai
