Furiosa flops at the box office

The full movie title is Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga i guess they could have called It Mad Max: Furiosa but the Furiosa name should be familiar to fans. If you see any sort of imagery, commercial or trailer and hear Furiosa, you know what it is because its clearly a similar setting. You'd have to see just a list of movie names to not immediately put it together. I still have no clue who Anna Taylor Joy is looking at her pictures I recognize her from a few seasons of Peaky Blinders but had to google anything else shes been in. So I'm not sure where the star power is, makeup or not.

Furiosa flops at the box office

Had to google most recent toy story movie. When you said something, I assumed there had been a more recent one I was not aware of. Looks like the one you meant was from 2019 with the toy Spork character. I saw this with my god daughters and had absolutely no complaints about wokeness so no clue what you're talking about there. as for bombing or not.. also no clue. I did not see it in theaters with them but imdb has a 7.7 and rotten tomatoes a 97%

Fury Road was great and I’m a big Tom Hardy fan but I can admit Charlize made that film

    Justin Herbert wide receivers

Johnston was not good but his draft capital says they won't be giving up on him. It's going to be Palmer and Johnston on the outsides and Ladd in the slot. I really don't think Chark makes an impact unless there is an injury or Johnston looks like a complete bust in camp. Herbert has some comfort with Palmer.... and Johnston and Ladd have 1st and 2nd round draft capital tied to them. In fact, if you believe Harbaugh had a 3rd/4th round grade on Rice and you believe he will work his butt off, I would have Chark 4th on the depth chart but 5th in terms of potential.

I don't watch or care about her, personally. I saw an extensive recap and highlights of her first game while watching CBS HQ. You said people only watch because the media tells them to. Again, this is a dumb take

as you should. this topic, however, was about 3rd year receivers. hth

Has anyone had their Dynasty Drafts yet?

they should be in August, logically. We wait until late August for redrafts to avoid injury issues and to see how certain things play out, so why wouldn't the same mindset be used for dynasty rookie drafts? but I find that a majority of guys who run dynasty leagues are too antsy to have drafts so they do it asap. It's funny because the idea of dynasty is building something but most big dynasty fans are very impatient. Once that initial startup draft is over, they realize how boring each offseason is and they are itching to draft rookies as soon as possible or they are constantly starting up new dynasty leagues.

Has anyone had their Dynasty Drafts yet?

Well, you know your first 3 picks and as much as I don't personally care for him, or the landing spot, I think you pretty much have to pick Bowers. Can never have enough RBs in todays NFL so Brooks at 5. At 8, because of your lack of WRs it's going to be tempting to pick McConkey.... I would strongly consider Jayden Daniels if he is there. I think he will be better than Richardson and possibly your top QB option in 2025. 2.01 and 2.05 I would use on another WR and Ben Sinnott. Pearsall and Legette come to mind but on the off chance Sinnott pops, I might pick him at 2.01 (I have seen him go 2.5) even if it means settling for a Burton or Polk at 2.5. If I can't convince you to go with two rookie tight ends that early, Then use both picks on receivers. I actually happen to like Burton and Polk more than Pearsall or Legette but I understand thats not the consensus.

Which team would you rather have?

In a non PPR format, with the depth of quality fantasy QB's available, I tend to lean toward team 9 even though it's not my favorite mix. team 10 seems too old and injury prone for my liking. of the teams that picked a QB, I am liking team 3.

    Third Year WR's

a lot of the top receivers are breaking out right away or more so by year 2 these days. I guess i'll add Pickens into the "already broken out" category. Of the ones who could still prove the old year 3 rule, Drake London would be #1... with a new scheme and a legit QB. Jameson Williams intrigues me the most. Have to remember he basically had a red shirt 1st season. This is really year 2 for him and 2023 (stupidly) he missed the first few games for gambling. Biggest issues facing him are pecking order (Amon Ra, La Porta, Gibbs) and proving he can do a bit more than be a deep threat. In his favor? The fact that he really shouldn't have much competition for the #2 spot. If he is not their #2 WR this year, he's likely a bust. Christian Watson would be next up on my list.

    Justin Herbert wide receivers

I am assuming the team won't just be giving up on last year first round pick at WR in Quentin Johnston. I think Palmer probably leads the team in production but I think it's going to be somewhat evenly split. I don't think Ladd is going to come in and be a fantasy star right away. Not in Harbaughs offense.... but if he does start to click with Herbert, he could be a playable flex. Brenden Rice is the one I am most intrigued by. If dad really puts him to work and takes a hands on role in his life/career (he was not really around him growing up)... he will need to show some flashes as a rookie, but there could be something there by year 2 or 3.

    Caitlin Clark debut

The barometer can't be that high. I've never followed the WNBA and I can rattle off Lisa Leslie, Sue Bird, Diana Tourassi, .... Cynthia Cooper.... Catchings?... Rebecca Lobo? no not her. There was another white girl on the Liberty. A few more younger black girls who maybe still play or recently retired. bah. gonna look it up. Candace Parker and Maya Moore! So assuming she sticks in the WNBA, which is a no brainer, I'd be willing to bet she becomes an all timer. The issue is more that shes struggling right now and doesn't look anything like a savior for the league.

    Caitlin Clark debut

dumb take. that's like saying why should we care about anything in sports... or really anything in general these days. If you love basketball and for some reason enjoy watching the women's game, then you can obviously care about her on your own. There's no denying the historic collegiate career she put together.
  19. I playfully suggested it was the vaccine. Knowing a bit about his history, I would be much more likely to think (aside from suicide) that any health related issue could have been a result of lots of self medicating

    Caitlin Clark debut

and I get that, I'm just not in the group that feels the transition to the WNBA is something where she needs a full offseason and training camp. If anything there should be little to no rust. 3 point line is the same distance, ball is the same size. Are there any major rule differences? The obvious issues are time to gel with new teammates and the fact that she is no longer playing against any girls who won't be pros. I understand. I guess my point was that given all the hype and her perceived skill, combined with the fact that the "best of the best" in the womens game does not seem nearly as daunting as the "best of the best" in the mens game (relative to a top NBA prospect), It does seem a little bit alarming.
  21. As soon as I heard it was Murray, my assumption was suicide based on his past issues but if he did WD not feeling well it could have been something else

    Caitlin Clark debut

I don’t care if she does great or flops but to be fair… when is the last time a collegiate athlete entered the pros with THIS much fanfare and hype off such an amazing collegiate career entering a pro league with such little talent? I don’t think it’s actually unreasonable to expect her to be able to hit the floor running
  23. He #edjr’d was just coming to post about this. Suicide for sure? Maybe it was the jab
