What makes you think I didn't read the article? I asked why you were only posting about this now. Did you only learn about this today, from that article? Pelosi is one of the lib heroes, no?

The Barkley trade sounds great for the guy getting Barkley. Dropping 7 picks in round 1 and 3 (which i'm going to assume is more like rounds 5 and 7 with the amount of players that will be kept) to be able to keep a top 5 redraft pick. Of course it also makes sense for you if you didn't plan to or want to keep Barkley at all. The Mayfield trade is great for you. Allows you a pick to use to fortify your RB room and now having picks 2, 11 and 12 gives you some flexibility to even take a 4th top tier WR if available. I'm still not sure if you have said this is PPR or not, so i'm assuming it is, and whenever a league has so many flex spots and the ability to only start 1 RB, all WR go up in my rankings. ... my guess is the guy who won last year whose roster you mentioned in your initial post was able to do so because of his WR room. I would still personally keep Rice over Odunze. I think the suspension is the biggest issue but when on the field, you're talking about the #1 WR for the leagues most talented QB. He's a WR1. With Odunze we just really don't know yet. What will Caleb be? DJ Moore still there. Drafted Burden and Loveland. i'd rather have the guy we've seen produce before who has the better QB

Round One-Three Commentary - July Mock 2025
WhiteWonder replied to Mike FF Today's topic in The Mocking Station
I'm not down on him, he had good numbers with lesser QB play. Still the risk of a very run heavy offense and inaccurate QB play, regardless of rapport. I probably don't want to draft him this year but not exactly avoiding him. He's a fine WR2 in round 3 -
I assumed they were some kind of thick soled shoe

Why are you only posting about this now? As if this is some kind of new development? They didn't call him China Joe for nothing and China has been steps ahead of us in certain areas for quite some time... Your girl, in the 1990's

Why odunze over rice?

other owner has a good team if this is PPR and has some flex. Nabers, Higgins, Evans and Puka? even without CMC last year still had Conner and Mixon and Darnold didn't pumpkin until after the FF playoffs right? it's a fair trade, I'm just not totally sure why the other owner would do it. Mayfield and Taylor will eat up almost $16 of his $28 cap.... As for your team, there is definitely a world in which I keep Burrow, Penix, Chase, JSN and Rice. That world being one where this league is PPR and starts 3 WR or 2 WR 1 FLX edit: my math was off on who he could keep right now. Looks like he can't keep both QB's, CMC and still have Nabers, Higgins and Puka

I believe I predate that 2002 season, at least on my lost original login. I don't remember how I got to the main bored or why I stayed there, although the football chatter was far better back then so I likely stayed due to the community. I had marshall faulk and randy moss on both my teams in 2000. That start likely launched my lifelong addiction. -

Trump wants the Redskins name to return. Threatens to block DC stadium deal.
WhiteWonder replied to squistion's topic in The Geek Club
they have not been the redskins since 2019. Along with the name change came a change in ownership and team culture. Steps toward winning football and now a franchise QB with an extremely bright future. Really going to go back to Redskins for the sake of swinging small peen around? If Trump is the sports guy he claims to be then he should understand the team and fanbase is in a good place right now and probably don’t wish to go backwards People need to get over it and I was very much against the name change when it happened -

Just dumb and unnecessary on Trumps part. should they have ever changed the name? No. Not in my opinion, but it’s been long enough that the team is building a new identity as the Commies with an electric franchise QB. at this point no one needs the new distraction. It is what it is. -
Last two Sundays I’ve had a 4-5 leg MLB parlay with the last leg being Sunday night baseball. Both times it’s been alive heading into that game and I’ve been able to hedge nicely with FDs Sunday night baseball 30% profit boost. last week I was able to cash out the parlay for 50% payout and win the hedge bet. (It was a close game heading into the bottom of the 9th. This week I’m sitting back cheering for the Tigers to finish the parlay but don’t really care who wins, it’s all profit now.

I’ll get this event winnings out tomorrow. Have to transfer money for season long okay take a few days

i'm actually about to head out. can't wait around for these guys to finish up unfortunately.

I think they use modified stableford? and its +2 for a birdie, +5 for eagle and only -1 for bogey? I'm asking because I have not watched it in years. I think it rewards uneven play, aggressive play, high risk high reward etc because bogey is not as penal as birdie is helpful and eagle hunting can shoot you up the standings. I can see how that would be exciting as a one off but on a week to week basis the guy who doesn't make as many birdies but avoids bogeys should be just as able to win as the guy who puts up 9 circles on his card with 6 squares.

Another event another massive disappointment. . At least I may have been first after round 1
