I missed this. I hit a high ball naturally. Very high with my irons especially. When I made the changes to my driver swing that I was detailing to Jerry, my driver was stock 9.5 and I kept it there. Because I was making an effort to catch it on the upswing with a positive angle of attack, the following season I tested out lowering the loft to 8.5. I have kept it there since. I don't really think it made much of a difference but I certainly wouldn't want to raise my loft

I expect this type of post to elicit a harsh response from the Fuhrer

Here’s a good video showing most of what I mentioned. In a lot of the head on shots of his stance and setup you can see the back shoulder is tilted below the lead shoulder. His body looks like a reverse K.

that's me. ill show up at the course with a few sausage egg mcmuffins to get me started before the beers begin. maybe not as horrible an overall diet, I do eat a little too much fast food, but I do workout I'm just not a gym guy. I'm also 6'2 to their mayyyybe 5'10 this is more for the general golf talk thread but how is your set up with driver? I added a good 15-20 yards just by making sure the ball was a little further forward in my stance, and making sure to set up with my back shoulder dropped below my lead. You can also sort of turn your shoulders so they feel slightly closed to your target if it feels weird dropping that back shoulder. That closed shoulder setup will naturally put the trail shoulder lower. And my head is behind the ball. Eyes on the ball but head definitely behind it. This is all to just make sure I am catching it on the slight upswing. Maybe +3-4 degree angle of attack on a trackman. I always had set up driver with the ball off the heel of my front foot but everything else was new for me about 3 seasons ago and it made a shiit ton of difference

last time out I had 3 or 4 drives that were roughly 290. I'm like gumby. It's all about the flexibility. Two of my friends who play (both are not good) can maybe hit 260 when they catch it perfect and both are former football player sort of meathead types who still regularly go to the gym and lift big. I have not seen the inside of a gym in 15+ years. Their swings are both extremely stiff... stiff hips, all arms

i would agree that democrats don't need to push the black vote anymore but would disagree that they don't need it. I do think there are enough brain washed liberals to pump the racist narrative and allow the democratic party to focus elsewhere, but the actual black vote would still matter in certain states.

So lets say you are a black american who voted for Biden in 2020 and are now unhappy with him. Instead of choosing not to vote, why would you not vote Trump? Before anyone says "because they hate him more", if that were true, you should still want to vote Biden. Not voting, after voting in 2020, makes little sense. If you didn't vote last time and just kind of hoped Biden would win, okay thats fine, so you don't vote again and kind of hope Trump wins... whatever. But to actively vote for someone and now have your stance be that you don't intend to vote at all is if we are talking about the same exact candidates. If your view of Biden has changed to the point that you will not vote for him, that means you felt things were better under Trump, so why not flip your vote if those are your 2 options? (yes, as someone who lives in NJ and realizes their vote doesn't matter, I do understand that argument but the subject of the thread is blacks voting in 2020 and now saying they are unlikely to vote at all)

I know you're just deflecting and I am glad you have an off the cuff comment I made several years ago to cling to.... but real talk, it must be pretty depressing for Philly fans who lauded the process all those years, flipped so many good players for more and more picks, whiffed on so many picks, and ultimately wound up with 1 Super Star to watch never make it past the eastern conference semi finals. Take Embiid off the Sixers and the don't beat the Nets. They had an awful record without him.
