current rosters have been loaded to https://www43.myfantasyleague.com/2023/home/42240#0 or for live scoring, the link below. That seemed to be the best bet last season to see everyone's rosters etc. https://www43.myfantasyleague.com/2023/ajax_ls?L=42240 I have to go to see a show from 3-6. I will check in on my phone at 4 to screen shot rosters and will put them all neatly in one post with tiebreakers notated once I get home. Any edits or new entries from now until 4pm won't be reflected on MFL until I return home. Good luck to everyone. Hope we have some good chatter like we did last season.

meh. I do think certain races are fooled and manipulated in a political manner. It's only natural when a politician makes racial equality or something similar a large part of their campaign in order to garner votes... or when an overall party decides to go in that direction. Manipulating specific demographics is at the heart of politics, on all sides. I wouldn't say whites are being replaced but I would go as far as to say that the increasing push for equal representation in all facets, be it in the workplace or on television or whatever and the pressure that is felt by companies to show how inclusive they are has started started to result in underqualified candidates being hired just because diversity. companies going overboard with minority/diversity casting in commercials, shows, movies, etc. there will be a point, which we've probably already passed, where straight, white male candidates will be turned down for jobs and roles that they are the most qualified for because of the overall push for diversity. This is not the same as the lazy white guy claiming he can't get a job because they are all being given to minorities... well qualified individuals will find jobs. But it doesn't mean that better candidates are not being passed over for the sake of inclusion. I would never be dumb enough to claim it's to bring down the US. It's simply to keep up with appearances

Anyone getting Peacock for the Chiefs game?
WhiteWonder replied to supermike80's topic in The Geek Club
it's cheap and shareable. My father gave me his login months ago. I think he pays $3/mo through comcast for it. -
I was about to edit and say that I have heard some white trash, lazy people act as if minorities stealing jobs or companies feeling pressured to hire is the reason they are unemployed, uneducated and get high all day. ... no. It's because you prefer to not work and get high all day

I "hate" lazy AA people who pretend their situations are due to systemic racism rather than their own lack of effort. If you want to be lazy and not work to better your situation, that's cool (and goes for anyone of any race) just don't make excuses. When I drive through certain sections of NJ and I see couches on the lawn, graffiti on all the buildings, shoes hanging over telephone wires, trash in the streets, etc. etc. I always ask myself why? When someone says "they can't get out the hood" because of hiring inequality, income inequality etc., I always ask what that has to do with trash all over the community? You don't need a certain amount of money or a certain job or job title to improve your surroundings. What does "systemic racism" have to do with your ability to throw your trash away properly? Or keep your couch inside where it belongs? Why can't a group of upstanding community members get together and clean up the neighborhood? Get the graffiti off the walls, clean up the trash? Yet I have many AA friends. I have dated AA women. I get along very well with most of my AA coworkers to the extent that I get along with any of my co workers I don't deny that some systemic racism exists or that there are still strides to be made in terms of equality... I'm just not dumb enough to believe that any of that would matter for the majority of AA people complaining that their situations are due entirely to racism. Just looking for someone to blame rather than hold yourself accountable, imo. I don't consider any of this to make me racist. I "hate" anyone who blames their own laziness or circumstances on others. I've just never personally heard anyone of any other race saying they would be in a vastly better situation if only it wasn't for racism in this country

agreed. if you're aware of it, it's no longer unconscious, but I get your point and agree. I think I would take it a step further and say that even if you are aware of biases you have, willing to admit them, etc... chances are you still have an unconscious bias OR the ones you are self aware of are stronger than you're willing to admit.
-
you can do either. reposting is fine, editing your post is also fine. I just noticed it says not to edit in the OP but I copy/pasted most of that when I took over 3? seasons ago. Since I put these rosters into an MFL playoff league, I wont be recording anything until 4PM and entering them on MFL. That rule was probably to make it easier for whoever was writing down lineups as they rolled in.

welcome in Bill hmm only 11 participants so far. Had 17 last year.

i was responding to peenie and should have quoted her. but to your point, I would bet there is at least one group of people you have negative feelings toward that you won't admit. You'll claim there is not but I would very much bet there is. Picking the easiest ones in an effort to show you are not like everyone else in the sense that you can admit to your "faults" is just that... easy.

Everyone is racist or bigoted to some degree. Even the people who come here and call everyone racist and bigoted. There will always be some group of people you have an unfair negative feeling toward. Human nature

Thursday night bump
-
Down 35. Going to need brown and Tatum to come out on fire the start the second half and chip away
-
And this was my slight worry with Boston/MIL. Boston is in the second night of a back to back after winning in overtime. down 30 at the moment have to cut into it by the half
-
And honestly if I was in the mood to build an nba parlay tonight, without a no sweat, those are the two games I’d have my eye on anyway. i ended up doing Brown, Tatum, Dame, Giannis 30+ and AD 25+. +1300 Austin Reaves interests me as does Lebron. I don’t like the numbers on KD/Booker/Beal with all three playing and it seems a waste to play them down. AD rebounds might be good as well
-
Hah okay now I get where you’re at.
-
Fanduel is also specifically on the TNT games so it has to be a combo of props from Bos/Mil and LA/Pho
-
yeah i got ya, I was just curious because you said 5 legs on the Mavs game at +307 and then broke it down to 4 tix at $1.25 adding the over/under and spread to each. Maybe I am not getting it. What is on each of those 4 tickets along with the o/u and spread? it's a single player prop right?
-
to some degree they are easier than NFL player prop parlays. With NBA you have to worry about blowouts killing you when teams pull their starters in the 4th BUT on the flip side you worry less about an injury instantly killing your play. NBA is also a little less dependent on game flow/script. If the game is still close, the stars usually do what they do, whereas an NFL team can abandon the run, milk the clock, etc. I have more fun with NFL because I care about it more
-
I hear ya. I wouldn't bother with a 5 leg parlay that was only +307, but I understand what you're saying as an example. Bet each individual prop along with the over/under and spread so you end up with 4 three leg tickets for the same cost. But in your example what happens to leg 5 or did you mean 4 legs at +307?

The thing is its a risk free SGP/SGP+ so theres really no reason not to do +400 odds to qualify or even longer. If you lose, and get the wager back as a free bet, you can turn around and bet it on something much "safer".
