don't call out seafoam like that
  3. had he actually qualified, which he wasn't close, he'd definitely be staying an amateur. He will probably go off to play at Stanford and then get years of sponsors exemptions on tour. My issue is just that more so than any other son of a famous athlete, he is forced on golf fans to an extent. I don't blame him, I would blame Tiger if anything. Considering Tiger sort of blamed his scandals on how he grew up so laser focused on golf and no real social life and then losing his dad who kept him grounded, etc... I would maybe keep my son out of the spotlight just a bit. Golf is so desperate for the next thing, or maybe more so desperate to hang onto Tiger. 7 year old Tiger could probably whip current Charlie
  4. Oh I’m sure it’s all being pushed extra hard since the writing is on the wall that Dad is toast.
  5. Right there for what? A 78? He’s a very good golfer, nothing more. Has all the tools in the world at his disposal.
  6. Charlie shot 86 in a PGA qualifier. why is he trying to qualify for PGA events? Stoopid.

    MLB 2024

Should trade him tbh. They wont, because they just rented Juan Soto but prior to that move the Yankees should have gone into rebuild mode. It's quicker than ever to facilitate a turnaround in baseball and i'm tired of hearing all the talking heads like Michael Kay claim the Yankees can't do it because the fans would be up in arms. So you'd rather they bitch year after year as a fringe playoff team? Yankees are in a tough spot because they dont really have the prospects to trade for someone who isn't a rental and no one wants to trade for guys like DJ or Rizzo. Stuck with Stanton. Were forced to overpay for a lottery ticket career year from Judge who is already in his 30's... Cole was/is their most tradeable asset. He could bring back the big haul of prospects they would need to jump start a new era. (yes i know he has a no trade clause. could still try to sell him on going to a contender)

Top 5 Fantasy Football WRs for 2024

I also would not have Waddle this high unless projecting a Hill injury. As much as I like Nico, assuming Tank Dell is back and healthy, I can't see Nico there either.

Top 5 Fantasy Football WRs for 2024

i don't know. I think expanding to the top 10 just means you don't have to get creative with a top 5.

    2024 Free Agency Tracker

Hope the Jets can bring back Q. Jefferson, Whitehead and Bryce Huff on defense, although Huff may get expensive for his role. I believe Legatron is a free agent as well. Other than that, the target should be Mike Evans. Perfect type of receiver to pair with Wilson... and hopefully they learned from last year and can target someone like a Tannehill, Minshew, Brissett as a veteran backup in the QB room.

    2024 Free Agency Tracker

If forced to choose between Fields and Mayfield, i'll take Baker. They should be in the market to draft a QB, but even if they do, Baker would make a fine, Alex Smith like bridge to the next guy.

It has never been easier to get ahead

2 of my golf buddies wanted to film our rounds and make a youtube channel. This was like 5-10 years ago. As much as "influencers" annoy me, I do think most of them probably get a bad rap. Yes, there are people who got famous for just being outlandish trash like the cash me outside girl you mentioned earlier. But there are so many others where their job as an influencer is really just a social media marketing job. Filming and editing their content, growing their following, negotiating brand deals with companies etc. They could just as easily have the same type of job for most companies.

we don't have to agree and we may be discussing different aspects of the topic but it's very clearly the same topic.

It has never been easier to get ahead

not stuck on anything. That's fine. If you want to just simply talk about how there are more opportunities in general right now... okay. That is pretty much a given as time goes by and society advances (technology specifically). I won't disagree with that. I guess I just fall on the side of more opportunities existed in the past than people immediately think about.

It has never been easier to get ahead

then you're getting into technological advancements, which of course are going to open new avenues (old avenues close though... the dot com bubble burst... the gold rush already happened... i'm just pulling these out of the air). People getting rich off new tech advancements are usually just taking over from the people who already got rich with the old tech it's replacing. I don't disagree that it's become a bit easier for literal morons to stumble into wealth, i'm just saying there were plenty of opportunities to get ahead 30+ years ago. Your original statement was that there were very few opportunities to do so which leads me to believe you are living in a very narrow tunnel of social media, crypto, lottery stonks, etc. How many videos have you watched about starting your own dropship business?

nothing you're saying is wrong, it just has nothing to do with what i'm saying. You can't do anything about life expectancy being lower in the 1920's or that the general mindset, especially with a male dominated workforce without 2 income families, was to work longer.... It doesn't change the fact that plenty of opportunities existed for people of that time period to "get ahead" compared to other people of that time. That's all I'm trying to point out.
