every so often he starts a topic that is not political drivel... I guess its often about the bears.... and his initial post is something kind of normal sounding. Then it's just a matter of time, usually a few posts until he goes off the rails and starts calling everyone packer fans if he doesn't hear total agreement with whatever his piss poor stance is.

Happy Gilmore’ Sequel In Development & A Script Has Been Written, Actor Christopher McDonald Says
WhiteWonder replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
hot women are hot women. no one is doubting the physical attractiveness of Grace Charis. I just think it's a little comical that guys drool over her because they consider her a golf girl. She's an only fans model who did a great job marketing herself with a golf theme but she's probably a double digit handicap. Paige Spiranic is a legit scratch golfer. Should you, personally, care about this? No... I guess my point was they should fill the movie with hot actresses rather than social media skanks. -

no. that's my point. you can just get a hot actress, it doesn't have to be an onlyfans "golf girl" -

I’m just talking about her in general plenty of hot women to cast in a happy Gilmore remake. I doubt Virginia Bennett was a golfer -

No. She is absolute trash. At least Paige was a semi respectable golfer. Grace Charis is an actual only fans girl preying on beta simps posting short videos swinging without a bra etc. -
thursday was a shit show for me. yesterday was a lot better. Today I only placed a few using some profit boosts. Gonzaga -3.5 for one.... and now I need Oakland ML for a 3 leg parlay.. tight game, expecting NC State to pull away

can't keep everyone. Even with Mahomes restructuring, it's just not possible. Hollywood Brown was a tremendous addition for you guys. Mahomes now has a legit threat at receiver when healthy. The whole regular season narrative in 2023 was that he had no one reliable or explosive outside of Kelce. I never understood why McKinnon became a complete afterthought. Brown erases these concerns. He has speed, can play outside or inside, good hands... the only issue will be staying on the field. I'm sure they can find a bargain CB

Feels like the Jets will wind up signing Clowney. Provided this is another 1 year deal, even if it's slightly more than the deal he signed with Baltimore last year, I think it would be a great replacement for Bryce Huff. Huff was a situational pass rusher, not a 3 down player and the Iggles gave him 3 years / 50+ million. Loved what he did, but that's a bit steep for what he does... but maybe he takes another step forward. Clowney is a 3 down player who still had 9.5 sacks (Huff had 10). I think it would be a good fit. I am feeling more and more like the Jets will be looking to use that #10 pick on Brock Bowers. I don't love it, but I would understand it. My preference would be to still draft a tackle, especially with NY's horrid track record drafting tight ends. Then again, it's been a while since they had a real good QB who can utilize that type of weapon. If they add another swing tackle in free agency as a backup to Smith and Moses, I think that would solidify Bowers or a WR as their 1st round selection. I would also be open to them trading back, picking up an extra pick and using that extra pick to take a QB to sit for a year or two behind Rodgers.

I like many more people who post here than I dislike. Why would I leave? Thats like telling people who have an issue with illegals entering the country that they should just pick up and leave themselves lets go peanut

March Madness does nothing for me any more. Likely will not watch a single game
WhiteWonder replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
he said his degree is from there, not necessarily that he went there. If it was a virtual degree or grad program, he may have never set foot on campus so I can't imagine caring. Even if he did, it's possible he wouldn't care about their sports program regardless of "sports being ruined for him". I'm not really into college sports in general. I pay attention to march madness because it's a lot of fun but in general I have always cared way more about pro sports. -

I think we are just going to have to be at the mercy of Yahoo in regard to these fringe players that are not listed in their database. The idea of claiming players and using placeholders until they become available was not a bad idea but to be fair, not everyone checks in here once we are finished drafting. The most fair way to handle this, unfortunately, is whoever sees them added to the Yahoo database first.... It's a shame that so many players are missing from their database this season.

You probably make it to the Super Bowl with better coaching, regardless

I took Boise St. ML with a profit boost meant to use it on Colorado St last night but forgot to get my wagers in.

exactly this. I think BTC and a lot of crypto can be great money making investments. I wish my first purchase of BTC had been many years ago rather than a few months ago . BTC is still doing great but that guy, who claims to be the most knowledgeable poster when it comes to BTC, only comes around to do his routine when it's climbing. Based on the way he used to post about work, life in general, lack of money, moving to cheaper areas etc and the time frame when he began participating strongly in this thread... i'd honestly be surprised if he owns much bitcoin at all. I hope he does. I hope he's making a killing... but I also wouldn't be surprised if he owns 0 or just recently got above water from purchases at the last round of ATH's.

Tell me you don’t follow golf without telling me you don’t follow golf

Is this a no spoiler thread? I just finished watching it all. I enjoyed it. I think the PGA LIV stuff has to dominate the show to start and I loved seeing how hurt Rory was and how used he felt. Actually felt bad for him. think Alex Fitzpatrick may have been my favorite episode lastly, gotta feel for Keegan. Guy wanted so bad to be in the Ryder cup and should have been. Disgusted watching Zach Johnson make those phone calls. So clear it was a buddies thing and I remember him being close with that spieth/thomas/fowler boys club. Thomas had no business being there. Obviously Keegan Bradley wouldn’t have made the difference but I’m glad we got our asses handed to us. We are clueless on how to play as a team.

I absolutely love Breece. I'm just getting myself prepared that we likely have him for 2 more seasons before he becomes too expensive for the position. Hope i'm wrong. Agreed. Wilson is special. Also agreed on Flacco. I never quite understood why there was not a seasoned veteran in the QB room last year. Still could have had Zach sitting and learning under Rodgers, and Zach even could have been the #2 if Rodgers missed say a game or 2 in concussion protocol or something.... but you needed a legit veteran if Rodgers suffered a long term injury.

With Quinnen Williams signed, Quincey coming into his own, Sauce, Garrett, Breece and Jermaine Johnson entering year 3, AVT coming back and Joe Tippman looking promising last year, the future is bright. A lot of these guys will be coming up for contracts, and we know how the RB landscape is right now.... but on the plus side, by the time they need to get paid, we will be starting over with a QB on a rookie deal, most likely.
