This doesn't look much better than a 12 team squad. Don't get me wrong, I like it... and obviously the depth is a little better but the starting unit looks similar to a 12 teamer. I assume you went Tyreek/CeeDee in rounds 1 and 2. Rhamondre/Etienne in rounds 3/4 (thats part of what feels like a 12 teamer). Waller/Fields 5/6? Cook or Dionte should be your flex.

idk why but my first thought was the bush league ability to draft and stash injured players. Draft them, yes, but you should have to stash them after the draft and then put in waiver claims or wait for free agency to fill those spots. As for the actual team... B Great pair of WRs considering you went with the Bijan hype in round 1. Keenan Allen was like #3 in PPR points per game last season. Yeah, he is 31 and spent some time injured in 2022 but had been fairly healthy for a while before that. No reason Bijan won't get work. I'm really not for or against the pick and I usually love me some Aaron Jones but I do wonder what the QB change will mean for the overall offense, fantasy wise, in GB. Love Lawrence as a QB when you wait a little at the position. I'll pass on Burrow and Herbert and instead for for Fields or Lawrence. Lawrence has the higher floor, lower ceiling. Don't like Kincaid as a #1 TE and your only TE and I think Kirk will be a better flex play than DJ Moore. Overall a good team.

Guy is a tool but this seems like a typical non story.

Personally : I expected to take Diggs in round 1... Hill was a surprise and someone I have not drafted much this year so I was good with that Rd 2: Wilson was who I wanted (Amon-Ra was the backup plan) Rd 3: Keenan was the target Rd 4: Hoped to see one of the big 3 QBs last but Jackson works. ** Andrews still being on the board surprised me and falsely lead me to believe Waller would be gettable in round 5. After Hock and Waller, i'd wait for Freiermuth Rd 5: Pivoted to Sanders with my TE targets gone. Initial plan was TE here and RB in round 6 Rd 6: went for the upside with Hall. He can ride the bench with hopes of becoming the Aaron Jones portion of the RB duo in NY by week 4-5 Rd 7: With Freiermuth popped, Lockett was the easy target. Rd 8: Njoku is a reach but the upside exists I dont remember round for round the rest but I know I got targeted players in McKinnon, Juwan Johnson, Chuba as insurance and my top... yes top DST. Thought Tua was a surprise that late for my QB2. I usually see him go as a QB1 with a safe backup. Missed out on targets like Brandin Cooks and Michael Thomas. It's not less points, though. It's the same as last season. I can't help an incorrect setting being made. And no way anyone saw 5 points for passing TDs and thought, yeah.. that makes sense

it would have to exist first I have long been of the belief that the only difference between some guys like us and FF "experts" (Berry, Yates, Eisenberg, etc) including hacks like Joe Bryant are time and a platform. It's not our career... but if we wanted to start a FF website and podcast etc etc and put the time into it, we would be no better or worse.

correct, thats why i changed the setting from -1 for all misses to -1 for 0-39. Bier removed it completely so im just going to leave it like that.

its all good. We had -1 for FG misses from 0-39 last season. I dont remember if it was ever discussed removing it and i know it wasnt part of the votes but it's very minimal... and like i said if we are reducing penalties to QB/WR/RB, might as well do it for the kickers . I also feel like had there been a vote most people would have said no negatives... although how can you not want to penalize someone for going Brett Maher?

it was a scoring category last season so it would have been a change to no -1 for short missed field goals, if it was proposed. but just leave it as is. no need to penalize kickers if we are reducing the penalties to other positions.

i had already removed all FGs missed and changed it to FGs 0-39. are we not penalizing for any misses? doesnt matter to me, just asking. also i already fixed fumbles lost.

i think int and fumbles lost should be -2 each but the votes or discussion went in favor of -1

and more importantly, do we think everyone is aware the draft is tonight in just under 2 hours? Last year was great because everyone showed. No auto drafted teams. Would like to avoid that. Anyone who has not chimed in recently?

I get it and appreciate you but last season was 4. No one proposed 5. There would be no rationale to choosing a middle ground between last years rule and something "some leagues do" We already agreed to go to -1 for interceptions instead of -2. Not adding another point per passing TD . It's been fixed.

wait, how the hell are passing TDs 5? i thought you guys had this under control when you took the reigns. This was never discussed lol complaining or not, this is why it didn't make sense to me to have someone else create a new league from scratch and NOT start off with the exact same scoring and rules as last year.... then make proposed changes and tweaks based on that. I'm going to do a once over and make sure there is not any other weird shiit.

Thanks, I would have been totally lost if we hadn't drawn draft order in advance. I've done COUNTLESS mocks to prepare for the 9 spot! (kidding) Sadly, or awesomely, FF is my second biggest hobby behind actual golf. If I needed any prep i'd be ashamed. Our last minute league has a lot of great owners and I can come in last place but between the mock drafts for FFToday.com, finishing up the IBL draft for team FFToday and already having done 4 other draft including my main home league... idk what prep I could come up with beyond making sure no one suffered cardiac arrest on the practice field today.
