I'm not entirely sure why you bothered to quote/respond to me with a bunch of stuff that I agree with. Not that you knew exactly my stance, but my post made it pretty clear that I simply believe it exists, do not think it is a doomsday issue but I do get annoyed by the people who take the complete opposite extreme. As far as your question, I get it and again, I would agree.... BUT it is sort of simple human nature to embellish in order to make headway on your goals, whatever they may be. Any smart person should take "the world is going to end in 20 years" with a big grain of salt, but still be willing to see the bigger picture that a problem does exist and that there are likely measures that can be taken to help. -

yup. I'm being a bit harsh calling his golf stuff average.... but the price (at least in the very early days) was insane for a fledgling golf company. I'm not sure if they would still be around if not for the money he likely threw at the biggest names he could get to play the clubs. Feel like CH3 was one of the first. Reed was a big get at the time. People like Zach Johnson. .... and then there is Gary Player.

nobody makes average, overpriced golf stuff like we do. Period.

I don't really notice this issue... perhaps when I do drops and adds while games are going on its someone who didnt start that day or was not in my lineup? I think the only time i've got a notification not allowing me to make a move was for a pitcher who was locked in and pitching. edit: I just added Taj Bradley for Evan Longoria and Longoria is locked for today (and started). I tried dropping Eflin but got the message he was locked, as I suspected with pitchers.

It’s cool I use random order generators for a bunch of different fantasy baseball and football as long as espn has the option for me to manually set it, then it’s all good -

I would be for this. It is perfectly reasonable. I play in leagues where I know my draft spot well in advance and leagues where I only know it about 20 min in advance. Is there a way, if drafting using an ESPN or YAHOO draft room, to know the draft order more than their set time when the draft room opens up? Or alternatively is there a way for a commish to dictate that order? I will have to look into it. Last year was the first time I did a live online draft via ESPN or YAHOO in years and it was only due to our specific time crunch. I hesitate to go to MFL for the draft in the event picks start taking 5 hours. and I absolutely hesitate to do it here based on all the peanut gallery comments you know will flood the thread. Maybe we can use an existing league message board -

i love you and all, but you make more rule change / add on / extras suggestions than I can keep up with. Between this and edex. Whenever i see one of the threads bumped I'm wondering , what is BLM proposing now? -

Nah, start 2 RB was a long time FF standard. Superflex is one of those things that came about based on commissioners trying to find loopholes, knowing lots of owners would try to fill that flex spot with a typical RB or WR without realizing an average QB will usually score more (depending on scoring system of course) Shouldn't matter. There have not been 24 "workhorse" RB's in the league for a while now. Just because each owner can't theoretically have 2 workhorse backs isn't a great reason to eliminate a position in favor of another flex. This is kind of what I mean when I say its a cop out / requires less skill. Just my 2 cents. Like I said if majority enjoys the league more with whatever changes, then go for it. -

I'm not sure why I find so many of these suggestions to be gross. Guess I just prefer classic fantasy football. For example, adding flex players at the expense of a RB spot just makes the game more simple with less skill involved, imho. Similar to superflex where a warm bodied QB off waivers will almost always be your best option, it's easier to find a quick fill in for a flex spot than have to plan to fill that 2nd RB spot. All the little ancillary payouts like weekly high score, weekly high player, season high scorer just take away from the prize pool for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. If you want weekly awards, stick to DFS But above all else, when I threw this league together last minute last year, I wanted everyone to enjoy it. I was genuinely upset with myself for not knowing there would be weird tie breaker issues with Yahoo when divisions were involved. So this is what I am seeing so far. Changes that are definitely happening Moving league to ESPN No divisions. Top 6 teams make the playoffs. Tie breaker is total points League fee increased to $50 bringing the prize pot to $600 Changes you guys can put to a vote Payout for weekly high score OR season high score (if enough people want to pay out weekly or season high score, go ahead... but please not both. It stands to reason that the season long points leader will have won a few weekly high scores. Let's not double dip) Starting lineups (if you want to add another flex at the expense of a RB) Changes I will #edjr over Paying a prize for weekly high player (its often random and means absolutely nothing. At least weekly high score shows who put together the best team that week)
