It's a service industry, yes, but I listed a bunch of perks you are also paying for. Of course, as it's set up now, priority boarding is also one of those perks. I'm just suggesting that for the overall experience, maybe it doesn't need to be. When I board with an earlier group, I actually find it annoying to sit in my aisle seat and deal with the additional people boarding, knocking into everyone with their too big carryon desperately looking for compartment space, then being told by flight attendants there is space in another section of the plane so they squeeze past other people trying to board.... partially the flight crew / airlines fault but point is, as I saw someone else mention earlier.... i'd rather be towards the end of boarding unless i'm flying first class.

on my most recent flight (toronto to barcelona) I had an older couple (late 50's ?) who boarded after me. I was in the aisle (4 seat middle row) and she was in the middle seat next to me. Her husband was in the seat in front of her. they immediately tried to guilt me into switching seats with the husband so they could sit next to each other. They even pointed at the aisle seat in front of me as if to say that was his seat. When I pressed further, they admitted he was in the middle seat in front of her. I politely shot them down and was thinking in my head "fock off with that BS". I didn't pay extra to pick my seat months in advance but I did intentionally check in as soon as the 24 hour window opened to switch to an open aisle seat. I'm 6'2 with long legs. Gotta be able to stretch them out occasionally, especially on an 8 hour flight. If you need to sit next to your husband/wife, pay the extra and choose your seats

I would agree with disabled and elderly boarding first if they want (and actually have the need). Generally I don't care if you paid more though. You paid more and got perks like extra leg room, advanced seat choice, a second carryon or checked bag included etc. As for your last point, I don't fly a ton but I definitely fly enough to know that is total BS. People are people. Those with no self awareness are going to be that way no matter how seasoned they are. I see it on every flight.

I personally don't care if my bag gets checked at the gate or not as i'm not one of the dbags who needs to get stuff from their carryon 3-4 times during the flight. What I need is in my personal item under the seat in front of me. I don't volunteer to check my bag but If I board and they are already to the point of checking them, it's all good. as for disabilities, old people, first class etc, Is that an actual boarding order that is used currently? or are you saying that's how it should be? Genuinely asking asI don't pay attention to it and am usually in group 3 or 4 because I try to fly for as cheap as possible and spend more at my destination. Just get me there is my motto. At the end of the day it really doesnt matter to me when I board a plane but I definitely think it could be a more streamlined process and my guess is that loyalty/reward programs are getting in the way of an overall better experience... even for those members.

I’d pass on that for a few reasons but I’ll take a look at your roster and see if there’s a counter I like (mainly because I expect Allen to continue to be a top 10 WR, Gibbs will be a headache when Montgomery returns and as frustrating as picking the right QB has been, I’d rather deal with that than finding a backup when one of them inevitably gets injured ) -
It would be nice if boarding made sense logistics wise instead of who is in what tier of an airlines loyalty program or whatever. even boarding back to front would seemingly be much better than getting to your seat and continuing to have people walk past you, banging you with their bags, etc. Added bonus for those near the front is they don’t have to sit and wait for the whole plane to board. If you paid more to pick your seats in advance, pick up front. Or people with carryon bags should all board first or people without should all board first. window boarding first is kind of pointless as many people board, stow their luggage and then roam around like a-holes. also you get one carryon and one personal item which can be a pretty decent sized backpack for example. It baffles me how as soon as the plane has taken off, everyone makes a mad dash to their carryon bags. Opening the overhead compartments to get a bunch of shiit out. Dropping stuff on people, etc. keep the shiit you need in your personal item, dumbasss

I am aware. (Though couldn’t have told you how close that was to the end of the show and if they were married when it ended). I was thinking reunion of the main 6

OD? Never would have guessed
-
That is a very solid guess
-
They can just use Paul Rudd also, who would have guessed Paul Rudd would be the 2nd most successful person from that show? (Aside from recurring roles from people like Bruce Willis etc )

FD has been offering 100% profit boosts. Tonight there was one on the NBA. Finally hit something with Brunson over 2.5 3's (+124) and Brunson 20+ points (-280) parlayed. Last night I used the NFL one they were offering on Diggs Over 87 yds. I also had just a $5 on Nurkic over 9.5 boards at +105. Guy has 8 at halftime. I go to sleep and wake up to see he finished with 9

did other topics get locked? I thought you all were still going on about that one

players still cut and drive to the basket. Analytics simply says there is no point in shooting deeper two pointers or step back jumpers if you can hit a 3. I don't like it but that's what drives it. Been that way for several seasons now.

my least favorite narrative in baseball. Most teams have tons of injuries.
-
yes, it's been brought up. It's also more than what you mentioned too. I agree with all your points but I will also add that 162 games and making the playoffs should not potential have your season end in a best of 3 first round series. Admittedly I am a jaded Rays fan who watched my team have the 4th best record in baseball, but because they played in the AL East, Houston got to sit home while the Rays got bounced in 2. Yes, they should have taken care of business, at home (if you can call it home), but baseball playoff series have momentum swings. Hard to see one of those in a 3 game series. If anything, and if they don't want to take a page out of the NBA's book as far as seeding, then at least make that first round best of 5. The DS and CS can then be best of 7 each.
