To be fair he said he was talking about a gambling trading account and didn't seem to indicate he was investing in any type of managed funds. So like my trading accounts, his expense ratio could be nothing. And I may have misunderstood you but I'm also not sure what contributions he would be subtracting from such an account. Then again he is probably lying about even having a gambling/trading account picking stocks

Supreme Court hands Trump major victory in migrant deportation battle
WhiteWonder replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
ah, Survey Monkey and 19,410 adults nationwide! Big sample size right there. I'm not disputing what these polls say, I am questioning the meaningfulness of such polls, especially to try and use them to prove any point. (and it goes both ways). Was Quinnipiac one of the polls telling you guys Harris had it won? I would also venture to guess that the notion of protests going on and the feelers that come along with them may have had more of an impact on the net approval than the actual handling of border security and immigration. Just a guess.... but again I would tend to take a lot of these small polls with a grain of salt. -

I like how you @ me but completely ignore the majority of my last response to you. Why not ignore the sentence about them all being criminals and address the other points I made and questions I asked? Or how about addressing what TBay said in regards to them needing to be behind the people who are going through the proper channels. Do you disagree with this? -

are these polls similar to the ones fed to you telling you Harris was going to be the next president? Reliance on polls is never a great thing. -

aka paper thin argument. They committed a crime. All of them are criminals by the letter of the law. Just because they provide you cheap labor does not make it okay or excusable. the US is not the only country that deports. If you decided you wanted to live and work in another country would you do so illegally or would you go through the proper channels? Would you feel it was right to be taking a job away from a citizen of that country? Of course, one of the go to arguments for libs is the impact it will have on the economy, when this cheap, slave labor is gone, because they know conservatives want a good economy. The thing is, what we have currently is the byproduct of something that should never have been allowed, at least not to the extent that it was. So what you're really saying is 2 wrongs make a right, or "well, it's too late to do anything about it without prices going up". Thing is, there are countries with far less illegal immigration or who deport to a higher degree and things are MORE affordable in those countries. .... you know, along with the fact that realistically there will always be some degree of illegal immigration and illegal slave labor. There may always be, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't take measures to lessen it. Just like there may always be guns but that doesn't mean we shouldn't take measures to increase gun control. See how that works? And I won't even dive into the hypocrisy of the cheap labor, willing to work for low wages, etc arguments that libs use while also pretending to be the party of equal opportunity and human rights. -

among the main talking points that repubs/conservs and dems/libs generally disagree on, illegal immigration is the one that I have never understood what leg dems/libs are trying to stand on. Abortion, equal opportunity, gun control, etc etc each side has some valid arguments regardless if you agree or disagree. I have yet to see anything close to a valid argument for pro illegal immigration / anti deportation. between the blatant hypocrisy of Trump bad! despite what prior democratic presidents have said and done on the same issue and the paper thin arguments libs make on this subject, it really boggles my mind. -
I really have not read much about it although I plan to see it sometime this week. So it's a start of a new trilogy rather than wrapping up the first two movies? Interesting. That makes me feel like 28 weeks later will just be a throw away, but I can't say that for certain until I see this. I thought there would be some interesting ways they could go with the genetic immunity from the second movie (and maybe that is part of the "evolution" of the infected)

it's become a funny cliche but it's 100% accurate

In the context of this board being dead and this same poster making a bunch of topics… I guess

For someone you can potentially get in the 9th round, he could be a bit of a steal if healthy... Ideally as a WR4/5

How many times have you scored 80+ points while playing madden? What did you think about the news that Woody Johnson supposedly let his sons have input on team decisions based on madden ratings? It's a ridiculous thing to cite as evidence of NFL coaches being bad. but more importantly is the idea that you think Sean McVay is the only coach disguising or attempting to disguise plays because you heard Allen Robinson praising him for doing so on a podcast. You are then taking that to mean that none of his other coaches attempted to disguise plays and further asking if football coaches are dumb. It's a pretty big reach and kind of a nothing burger topic.

The first one is one of the best zombie movies ever made. I did not see it in theaters but part of what makes it so great is the lower budget feel. Cillian Murphy was great. The second was a let down. I guess to be expected and overall it wasn’t terrible but it was severely lacking depth compared to the original. Idris Elba was in it for like 5 minutes. Jeremy Renner was okay too bad they didn’t do a 28 months later before 28 years.

Do you though? Madden, being a video game, has always had offensive plays you can find that are unstoppable with certain players, dating as far back as I can remember playing on SNES. So it often became a game of who had the ball last and the possibility of scoring last in the half and getting the ball to start the second half was always attractive. Football and sports in general didn't defer to analytics until much more recently and I would say that the evolution of the game to be much more friendly to the offense has fueled a lot of this.

To be fair, Robinson played for some bad teams... and also, was he purposely asked about McVay? Maybe he liked McVay more than any coach he had and wanted to praise him. I don't know and would need to hear the context but I can assure you that Sean McVay is not the only coach who doesn't tip their plays or attempts to disguise plays. I would venture to guess that most coaches do and some are simply better at it than others.

I heard something about this on the radio yesterday morning but wasn't really paying attention and I assumed that Liquid Death was selling an actual drink containing his sweat or spit or something. Like the sydney sweeney bath water soap. I suppose this is much better

You’re such a buffoon they were fooled? More like YOU were fooled by your precious media and your “democratic” party who force fed you your candidate

For context this is Standard scoring Start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DST There is also a best ball format league played out using these rosters although we try to mock without being too mindful of that.

A Tampa win tonight after a great comeback last night would leave them 1.5 behind the Yankees in the AL East. I am totally shocked by the production coming from this offense. Currently covering up some weak pitching from Baz and Bradley who were considered to be their 1 and 2 options with McClanahan sidelined.

I know you are only having fun I posted that comment on May 29th? a day after he picked up his 4th (and most recent win) with 7 K's and 0 earned runs. He has since gone on to pitch 20.2 innings with an 0-1 record and 20 strikeouts. We know I am splitting hairs on a top flight pitcher but his K/9 still isn't where most expected it to be (and yes I am in a fantasy baseball mindset). But his ERA and WHIP has settled into where we hoped it would be after some iffy outings in april and early may. I suspect he will keep it up, even if the wins don't materialize which is hardly his fault most of the time.

***2025 Fantasy Geek Balls League*** Draft is August 28th 9:00 PM eastern time
WhiteWonder replied to BiffTannen's topic in The Geek Club
not until much later. maybe a few weeks before the draft -
crispy outer is the way and i have been told that its often consumed with honey or jam to give it savory-sweet but ketchup works just as well (that's how I had mine and I feel like that would be my preference).
