Oh Fatrick
-
They drafted a round 1 rookie and it’s more of a spread the ball offense but I love his TD potential in this format.

9.01 - RB Travis Etienne Jr, Jax

8.12 - WR Stefon Diggs, NE

Oof. That Jayden Reed pick just sniped me hard. I’ll need a bit
-
obviously it's been the same for me, which I am okay with... I like feeling like I can take my time with picks with the "clock' being off so to speak. Although if Friday holds true to form I won't be picking tomorrow evening.

ohhhhhh we're halfway theeeeerrrreeee

David was better... too bad he got demolished behind the Texans line.
-
whats his driving accuracy at so far?

Dan with another nice pick of Nix who I had unrealistic hopes would be my QB at 8.12
-
Nice pick Dan. Godwin was my original choice for my Wr/Wr turn before i decided to go the Hunter route.

I don’t know who fuzzy is but what’s a flex 10? Sounds like a liberal wet dream

Kind of depends on what you can realistically project out to your 2nd and 3rd round picks. I'd take a look at the WR's and RB's most likely to be there at that point. If I went WR I'd be likely to go with Lamb. But it would be really hard for me to pass on Gibbs with his reception ability and the amount of TDs he can score in that offense, especially when I know there is a good chance I can land a 100 catch WR who had really good chemistry with his new QB in Drake London or potential bounce back in Tyreek Hill. Hell, might even try to go Gibbs, Bucky Irving, WR. Don't think you can go wrong with either direction though. The first 6 picks this year are all nice options

Thank you for the more in depth explanation. While I do agree that he may be the best of a bad class and possibly fall into that category of one or two good prospects in a bad class, I do not believe that anything about Tet is "special". Where as I do think a guy like Hunter has special traits. Of course, Tet wound up in the better situation to be fed targets (and no 2 way nonsense) so I have him rated slightly ahead for drafting. I don't compare Tet to Mike Evans. I do understand the Drake London comps. When London came out, I didn't think there was too much to get excited about, and thinking back to his film, I saw more similarities. As far as Nabers, it was clear there were some "special" attributes to his game and I was one of the many who were saying he should be the top WR in his class. I understand that you don't mean play style, but I think if it's also not a talent level similarity then it's hard to put them on the same level. Had Tet been in last years class, i'm not sure hed have cracked my top 5... but his situation may make him more productive. For example i'd have had Odunze ranked ahead of him but Tet may put up better fantasy numbers.

I guess my hope is that, with the weapons they lost… and with the decline of some others, there isn’t much behind Thomas. If they make him a mostly full time offensive player with a handful of defensive packages and find creative ways to get the ball in his hands, he has game changing athleticism. 8-10 TDs does not seem impossible.

looks like I have 3 early 3 late. So ill only be half disgusted by noon EST.

Well, I had 2 WR's in mind for the 6/7 turn. One of them was Calvin Ridley who played better last year once the other WR in town was gone. He also gets a theoretical QB upgrade this season and was a 1000/8 (WR 17) in 2023 with average QB play. then.... I scrapped my original plan and decided to swing for the fences with Travis Hunter. Admittedly, this is not a pick I would probably make in a PPR format, but Jacksonville lost a lot of passing game weapons and I don't need Hunter to catch 80 balls. Just be used creatively and score touchdowns.

I originally kicked the tires on picking Lowry 3rd overall (since I knew scottie and bryson were gone) but a deeper dive shows that his US Open history is kind of blah aside from 2016 when he shot -5 in a sort of outlier round 3 only to follow it up with +6 on Sunday. Probably overthinking it Hideki was a pick sort of based on US Open history... 10 made cuts in 11 tries with 4 top 10 finishes. So obviously going to miss the cut this week Min Woo for a 6th rounder is 3 for 3 in US Open cuts with a 5th place finish. He has the distance off the tee with iffy accuracy that puts him right around Windy Clark, Ludvig, Cam Young... and even Rory (more accurate). Admittedly, he ranks lower than those guys in SG:OTT but he beats out most of them in accuracy and distance so He also has a good short game. His issue is approach, but these are huge greens this week which I think mitigates SG:A just a little. a glimpse into how my craptastic picks come to fruition.

I get the risk involved with Rashee Rice.. but when you make the decision to take a TE early and don’t pick again until 4.12, the upside of a top 10 receiver is too good to pass up. In another world, I’d see myself taking Tyreek at 3.1 (maybe London had I picked Barkley at 1.1) and finding a value TE later on. Obviously Rice as a WR2 is much more desirable and I could see this being the case in many of my $ drafts Kamara was just a decision to emphasize RB with some theories I’ll maybe discuss during the mock Analysis

No worries. I should be at the Rays-Mets game Friday not Saturday so I’ll do what I can
