I'm confused, what is the brand comeback? did black people not generally eat at red lobster before? -

Keegan Bradley named 2025 Ryder Cup Captain
WhiteWonder replied to bostonlager's topic in The Geek Club
I had $5 on Keegan. Never got more interesting than being 2 back. Just played it for the 18-1 odds -
Injury history has to be taken into consideration when it's happening frequently but his last 2 fully healthy seasons he was #3 and #7. He was #18 while missing 4 games. He's being drafted as low as 15th off the board. 13th in my draft.
-
just a heads up if you have not drafted yet... Caleb and Maye are generally in the same zone as Fields and Dak, especially Caleb. Calebs adp per fantasypros, for example, is ahead of Purdy, Herbert and Fields. Of course Fields is being drafted for rushing upside. He was QB7 in ppg while starting last year despite meager passing numbers and has been top 10 every season since his rookie year in games he's started. I absolutely agree there is risk of benching once Tyrod is healthy. I also have no reason to defend Dak, I'm no Cowpokes fan, but he was the #3 fantasy QB in 2023 with similar or possibly lesser weapons. Tony Pollard kind of busted as the lead back that year and the top WR opposite CeeDee was Gallup. Pickens should be a significant improvement there. I think holes can be poked in every QB after the top 6-7 guys and most of them also have upside.

I'm anticipating 6 for Rice. Without London, Evans and Ridley already drafted, that's a pick I don't make. I looked back and the only players that luxury pick cost me were Bo Nix (I like him a lot but always prefer to wait on QB), and the run of TE's (Hockenson, Kelce, Kraft, Njoku, Engram). On the bright side it lets me flex Rice for 4 weeks while I see if I am correct about Ridley and possibly flip one of those WR's before the trade deadline with KC having a week 10 bye.

interesting takes. I have not heard many, if any people saying they don't like the range of QBs that include Fields, Dak, Goff, Herbert, and also Caleb. For example, Caleb went in the same round as Dak. It's a popular spot considering you can still grab Lawrence/McCarthy and other interesting options as backups. I may have forced the Dak insurance policy but it only cost me Pittman or Addison in terms of players I was interested in. Barkley is not in my personal top 4 but I am hard pressed to find a reason to pass on him after pick 6. Finally playing on a real football team, I don't have any larger concerns regarding injury and/or decline than I do for a 31 year old Henry or even Collins who has missed 9 games the past 3 seasons. I also have London in the same tier as Collins so there was no reason to pop Nico that early, though I do like him quite a bit. As for Andrews, again I had to hold my nose while making the pick but I have not seen much to indicate Likely was "primed to take that role" before his offseason injury. Likely more or less vanished after his monster week 1 last season. He's been good when Andrews is not on the field. The bigger issues for Andrews were really the arrival of Henry, increased targets for Bateman, and now the arrival of DHop. I can't seem to get interested in Loveland. Call me crazy but I think Daniel Jones is a decent boost for Tyler Warren and I don't happen to think Caleb is taking a big enough leap to support DJ Moore, Odunze, and Loveland with Burden in the mix and Kmet still there. However I do think Warren can immediately become the top passing target in Indy over Pittman/Downs. Should be interesting between those 2.

Ridley seemed to make sense at 5.8. his average adp on fantasy pros is 64. My next pick would have been 65th. Knowing my league I had to snag him there. I have no qualms with Kaleb, I drafted him for a reason, I just don't expect him to be a weekly winner in the early going. I love Trev Henderson but he was picked at 4.2. I considered going WR and Trev in round 4 but glad I didn't since he would not have made it back
-
Kraft was off the board 5-6 picks prior. I almost picked Warren over Andrews but with Likely out for a bit and Andrews still being just 29, I figured what the hell. Warren went in the next round. I actually prefer my WR depth to my RB depth as I think Jaylen is going to start off as the lead back... but I am also someone who is very high on Ridley this season and I think Rashee will give me 2nd/3rd round production until he is suspended and after he returns. I am hoping I get lucky with 4 games but am expecting 6.

could add another flex and still keep kickers. I dare say DST is worse than kicker these days in terms of randomness and the ability to just stream matchups.

awesome. I've never had one. Came close last October at a really difficult course... at least the greens are murderous and the slope is 136 I think... Stanton Ridge in NJ. Hole 12, 7 iron, front pin was probably playing 170. Landed just over the pin and slowly rolled back right past the hole, wound up 5 inches below. I then drove the green on 13 and proceeded to 3 putt for par Man, if I got one I would immediately put that ball in the golf bag valuables pouch!, glad you didn't lose it.

Also, congrats on your Holden one. I’m currently driving to my first live fantasy draft of the year so I didn’t get to read the whole post but big ups
-
Thanks bud. I didn’t get it for quite a great price with my profit boost because I spaced out and didn’t place the bet until the score was 00 with nine minutes to go in the first quarter but the boost got into +145. Didn’t have time to look for Ohio State

i tried mixing coloreds with my whites once, had to buy all new whites

sorry, I already sent it back. ebay takes a % so just send $50 and check off friends and family.

I will be sending this back to you as I only received $48.50. You should get the full $50 as a refund. You have to send it as friends and family so PP doesn't take a cut.

that sucks. I hate when someone is auto drafting since it sometimes becomes very obvious who the cpu will pick for you and the teams around you get a slight edge. I believe you can set your own pre draft rankings at least for the first few rounds.

Keegan Bradley named 2025 Ryder Cup Captain
WhiteWonder replied to bostonlager's topic in The Geek Club
Cam did get his first win recently I think and he has had a good round here and there in other events (like today) but over the past 2 years he has been fairly off. I think Harman has the mental makeup for this. My guess is, if Keegan picks himself, the only top 12 guy not selected is Mav in favor of Cantlay. If Keegan were 15th I would still want him to pick himself. Sitting 11th, I think it all comes down to if he wants to risk being second guessed if they lose, as I am sure people will point to some nonsense about his captaincy being distracted. In a sense, he has already made it based on merit. -

he deserves to call his own number after he got jobbed in 2023. love that Bryson qualified from 8 majors alone. Not to make it a PGA/LIV thing but that fact only 5 USA guys topped him in that time frame is kind of sad. JT annoys me but he makes sense, as does Morikawa.... Cam Young has mostly been a mess and I would pick Burns for the better play over the past several months. I probably go JT, Morikawa, Griffin, Harman and Burns. but I get the feeling Cantlay gets the Xander nod and at the end of the day, I understand it. JT got the Spieth nod in 2023 when Keegan should have been picked but this time around the back end of team USA looks like a struggle so in this instance I am okay with taking a guy because of his chemistry. -
i may do phillies/tigers/jays/rangers/brewers/cubs for giggles .... i want to add the mets to it but they have been so bad.
