“as long as they can come back legally” made it sound as if you were okay with illegals leaving (and taking money to do so) as long as they could turn around and try to come back through proper legal channels. i would be staunchly against that and also feel it’s unfair to those going about it the right way. would only be okay with it on condition of a certain amount of time passing (5 maybe 10 years) before they could attempt to do it the right way.

I think it would be self explanatory that cashing out would void you from winning any additional free bets if you cash out during the reg season. Not sure why anyone would. I guess you could also look and see if there are any terms that keep you from cashing out the wager at any point. I guess if it's a real sketchy book they could just never offer cash out amounts on all those promo wagers. When I had SanFran on FD, I never looked to see if cashing out was an option prior to placing the promo bet, I just remember in like week 9 or 10 looking and seeing cash out was available. So I just waited until they already had 10 wins and I think at that point I could have cashed out for even money but obviously they were going to make the playoffs.

i'm not generally a horror fan. Never really cared for slasher flicks or movies designed to make you jump. I don't care how much gore a movie has if the plot sucks. I'm really only into horror movies that genuinely make you think. I believe thats why I really liked the original Saw but then didn't care as much for the rest when they sort of became more over the top gore as opposed to 'who is doing this, how and why?' I do like the end of days, zombie categories but they still have to be well made. That's why 28 Days Later is one of my all time favorites. Initial reaction is that i'd have little interest in this. A movie with creepy kids ... at least that's what it looks like from half the trailer I watched. But I do like the actress from Ozark so maybe i'll give it a shot when it's streaming.

FanDuel did this in 2023/24. I took SF. iirc it was a $5 free bet for every win up to 10 wins so I got my max free bets that I used throughout the season and then I cashed out the SB winner bet prior to the NFC title game . A win was a win but I was slightly annoyed while watching the SB until the end It's a little different if there is no cap on how many free bets you can win but I just went with a team I expected to win 10+ games in the NFC because I thought it was the weaker conference. I kind of always planned to cash out once the playoffs began. I was just picking my spot. This year it would be hard for me not to go with Philly for a promo like that. If you don't plan to cash the bet out during the playoffs and want to ride with nice odds, I love Cincy at +2200 or whatever they are at currently.

I think if you already broke the law to come here once, you shouldn't be allowed to attempt to come back through proper legal channels. If someone shoplifts from and gets banned from entering a store, should they be able to come back as long as they promise to pay for their items? Maybe after a certain time period has elapsed, I could see allowing them to begin the legal process but certainly not right away after deportation. obviously deportation is not going to solve all of our countries problems, , but I do find it comical when liberals act like the economy is going to crumble without the slave labor of illegal immigrants. I had this discussion with my very liberal aunt last weekend. I already knew everything she was going to say because i've had the same conversation with other liberal friends and family. "lower class citizens won't want to do those jobs for such little pay"... completely ignoring that the "little pay" will have to go up due to minimum wage laws. Also ignoring that not every illegal is picking vegetables in a field or washing dishes and scrubbing toilets. I figured her next retort would be rising prices to consumers, which surprisingly she didn't go after. That's a common retort because liberals know conservatives, trump voters, or even just non liberals like myself often vote for what we think will be best for the economy and markets. I was set to ask her if she preferred slave labor over slightly higher dinner prices, because as far as i'm concerned there are certain times when some temporary inflation is justified for the greater good. I also find it comical that no one ever remembers Obamas stance on illegal immigration.... or Bernie Sanders talking about it and the harm it causes the country and the middle class. Unfortunately there was a little taco Trump, as they like to say, during his first term. He talked many times about taking action with the GSE's but failed to do anything until the 11th hour of his term, possibly after he lost... i'd have to go back and look... when he put in place the ability for the companies to finally start to retain some earnings and build capital buffers. Of course anyone with any interest in the situation knew that electing Biden was basically electing Obama again so it would be 4 more years of purgatory for fannie and freddie. Obama very much understood the money and knew what he was doing. It was a fat cash cow for the government and he could easily pretend the NWS was being done for the benefit of the country, to help avoid a repeat of 2008, when in reality it was simply a way to keep collecting 100% of their record profits. That's why so many documents pertaining to fannie and freddie remained sealed under executive order during all of the investor lawsuits.

Trump wants Fannie and Freddie to go public by EOY. There is obviously much to be discussed in taking GSE's public, but the one thing that can't be debated is the absolutely disgusting theft of FNMA and FMCC via the net worth sweep put in place under the Obama admin. The only administration to take any steps toward allowing the companies to build up capital buffers and possibly exit conservatorship has been Trumps admins. Absolute crickets under Biden. Crazy theft that almost no one talks about with billions swept to the treasury every quarter and none of it allowed to be used to repay the bailouts from the financial crisis... meanwhile so many other companies that received bailouts were able to repay and go back to business as usual. I could write a dissertation on this subject but the bottom line is it's not just speculative investors like myself. MANY people had stock in these companies in their retirement accounts Trump should have done more in his first term. I am just glad this seems to be more of a priority this time around. Regardless of his motivations, anything is better than the ongoing cash cow theft of the previous democratic admins.

you know gutternuts is lost when timhack is in agreement that the feature sucks. Look, I am all for having the feature in a vehicle IF the off button is a permanent off button until/if you decide to enable it again. That doesn't seem to be the case in most vehicles i've been in that have it (mainly Jeep grand cherokee and cherokee) so as already mentioned, you have to remember to switch it off as soon as you get in and start up the car. It is far worse on the starter, battery and engine than it is good for the environment, especially when 75% of the time you are stopped for mere seconds... really cutting down on emissions there. I do believe there is a way to disable it permanently if you don't mind a light being on your dash edit: I see maxikill already posted a video showing the same.
