If you didn't have them listed as "other LIV participants", where would you place those guys in terms of their actual chances? maybe biased because I drafted him but it's hard for me to rate Cam Smith much differently than Bryson at Augusta. Bryson has the better recent results in other majors, Cam has the better overall masters results in his career. Neither has been spectacular on LIV. I'd put Reed and Hatton in the "lightning in a bottle" category. Sergio might belong there too but hes actually been playing pretty well. I'd still likely slot him in solid/tested category. DJ maybe punchers chance and Bubba no chance.

I also thought I forgot Danny Willett but was pretty sure no Masters rookie has won since the 70's. It was Willett's second Masters. Not that we need to be picking winners ourselves to win

Thats more than I thought / remembered but still a fairly small amount of rookie success overall.

I made my 4 player list right after I picked Spaun. I really didn't want to pick any first timers but figured if my 4 players were all selected, what the hell. I just feel like first timers tend to struggle here, or certainly don't contend which is why what Aberg was doing last year was so special.

My 4 player list for round 6 was Glover, Horschel, T Kim and Im. And the first timers were McNealy, Thompson, Detry, Yu, and Rai.

So many players I’d love to pick (I will not name them so I don’t trigger AD ). I had a list of 4 after my last selection plus another 5 mostly masters rookies incase my list was all sniped. So much of this reminds me of the liberals crying (falsely) that Trump is going to end their social security! Without stopping to realize social security has been in bad shape for quite a while now. They seem to forget that a few years ago, we began the shift to paying out more SS benefits than we are bringing in from SS tax on working individuals. The SS reserve account that had been built up over a long period of time is now being tapped into, and at this rate, we will eventually hit a point that the reserve is gone and SS benefits will only be able to be paid out at the rate SS tax funds are coming in.... which means a lot of people will be getting much less in benefits than they planned for and people my age and younger may not have any, despite paying into it. It's going to take serious reform This is why the tariff doom and gloom and crying from guys like Tim, reminds me of social security. They refuse to accept that in certain scenarios, big changes need to happen and some short term hurt may need to happen to ultimately fix an issue and come out better on the other side.

Reason I had asked is I was semi interested and would have picked Houston. I basically have no ties to them but from doing a decent amount of mens college betting since Feb, I seemed to bet a lot on them, LJ Cryer, Emmanuel Sharpe, Uzan, etc. So they were the team I was cheering for and had winning it all in my brackets. But I also didn't totally understand the rules. I assume if your team wound up playing someone elses team directly, you HAD to wager... and then if someone wanted to challenge you by taking your teams opponent in a game, you could also accept that?

I think he is still super talented but maybe more so than any of the LIV guys, really just wanted the bag of $, and just doesn't give a fock anymore. His exemptions to the other 3 majors are going to start to run out soon. He doesn't strike me as one of the LIV guys who will try to play other events for OWGR points or go through qualifying... (and yes, they should get points from LIV events!) I can see him shooting 67 or 77 and maybe less likely to be in the 70-73 range. Maybe just depends on the drive up Magnolia lane, champions dinner... if it sparks something he can combine with course knowledge and undeniable talent. Feels like the ultimate boom/bust pick at this point

** Also to update... Ed responded to my text yesterday evening that he would send the money over. I have not received anything yet but was glad to get a response.

I mean I never really said I was trying to do anything. also there are more differences between Trump and other politicians. Namely that he is not a polished, life long politician. Which is why he appeals to many people. I would actually say the vast majority of media on either side never call out their own.

decent actor who obviously gets more credit than he deserves because he's a good looking guy. But I would hardly say his movie career didn't work out too well. This is why, while I am definitely not a Liberal (and voted for Trump)...., it gets hard to stand Trump sometimes. Stop chirping and just put your head down and go to work. Why are you bothering with this in the first place? why call out a guys movie career when you had to force yourself into Home Alone 2?
