Braelon Allen was terribly inefficient last year. There is the fear that Glenn, coming from Detroit, will have 2 backs in tandem and neither will be to the production level of Gibbs OR Montgomery. Hall is going to be better than Robinson but you seem to have Barkley and Taylor already and your TE situation isn't great. The thing is, whoever drafted Warren in your rookie draft likely has a high valuation on him. So i'm not sure Hall will even be enough.... and at the same time, I don't expect that much from Warren this season. I guess I would make that trade but i'd temper my expectations for your TE position.

Yes I agree. The guy is saying CMC is his #2. That's a big leap of faith (no pun intended)... I guess the only thing i'll say is if you're drafting 2nd and CMC is the top guy on your personal projections, you won't be getting him in round 2 so you gotta do what you gotta do. There is a little bit of FF where people blindly follow ADP to a fault. Now if ADP says you can get a guy 3 rounds later, then you should hold off. But if ADP says a guy is 8-10 picks later, you have to get your player.

the thread itself is a bit silly because again, no one is sleeping on Barkley. He still should be drafted as a top 5, probably top 3 fantasy RB. Can easily be picked #1 overall, could easily go #6. The smart money would be on him not reaching 2024 numbers, obviously.

If you are referring to gutterchild, I have no idea. you could be right as he seems to lie quite a bit. However, regardless of any of that, if he had his kids take out student loans, they are in fact not his debt. As for my father, he made very good money. His rationale for paying for our education was more along the lines of he and my mother chose to have children and part of that choice is providing for your children, including college (which as I stated a few posts up in a response to Jerry is a process that starts as early as 14 years old), at the same time he was always about instilling responsibility our whole lives, so telling us we would have to take out at least a small student loan was just part of how he operated. So yes, I agree with you in theory, and at the end of the day it didn't matter much as I paid my loan off within a year of graduating... the interest was minimal.

I agreed with it as well. I mean, I also think he could have simply paid the entire expense and had an agreement with me to pay him back X amount within a certain time, rather than an actual loan... but I get it. I had a scholarship but there were other schools that were giving me closer to a full ride that I could have (and likely should have) chosen instead. I was sort of the opposite in that I paid for my books and "living" stuff. I did not work while I was at school but I had worked all through HS and did so during winter and summer breaks so spending money was never an issue... and also why I paid off my student loans within a year of graduating anyway. I know it's a nonsensical jab but the entire college process begins well before adulthood, if you're doing it right. Is a lot of it overkill? absolutely. but I would say as early as sophomore year you had to be aware of GPA, honors classes, clubs, volunteer work, sports and then eventually testing, recommendation letters, the actual applications and essays. I was probably 15/16 when my father discussed with me that i'd have a student loan.

Because even if I could read the X post, I would tell you your thread title makes it seem like we can discuss anything and everything having to do with sweeny, AE and supposed nazi overtones. If the X post was not about Sweeney, then your thread title probably shouldn't have been about sweeney either, unless like I said you are baiting.

I had 20k in student loans in my name when I graduated. My parents paid a decent amount of my college education but my father insisted I have a student loan as it starts you off with responsibilities. guttertard is usually wrong but I have no idea why horsenuts is obsessed with his families finances
