    Round Eleven-Sixteen Commentary - July Mock 2025

Debated/debating doing a July Mock Analysis ala Fumble in the June. not sure if I have time but may try. as for my draft…. Definitely wasn’t thrilled with the 8th pick. There’s sort of a clear top 6 and then my preference after those is Amon-Ra rather than Puka with Adams in town and Stafford nursing his back. I sort of felt like I was picking in a dead zone pretty often and wound up ending some runs rather than starting any (Kamara, Mayfield, Njoku). QB: Mayfield, Prescott I can’t realistically expect 2024 numbers from Mayfield again. I was hoping for Nix here but knew it was a 50/50 shot. Dak is a QB2 I love. RB: Kamara, Swift, Pollard, Ford, R.Johnson The weak spot, BUT Kamara was something like #5 in ppr ppg last year. Was hoping for Breece but perhaps I should be more excited about Kamara getting fed. Swift is someone I am starting to get very high on due to Ben Johnson being in town and having familiarity there. Pollard is an uninspiring RB3/flex. Ford I think is now undervalued, at least at the moment, with all the Judkins nonsense and Roschon is a handcuff play WR: Puka, London, Ridley, Meyers, Tillman, Allen the strength of my team. I am very big on my top 3, even though I just said I prefer ARSB but that’s not to say I don’t like Puka. Meyers was a luxury pick and I think a great WR4. Tillman is someone I’ve been in since rookie dynasty drafts but we shall see. If Allen signs in a nice situation, I’d have a hard time believing this isn’t the top WR room in the league. TE: Njoku, Ertz maybe another minor weak spot but I think Njoku can be a monster again with Flacco. It may be to the detriment of my Tillman but that’s okay. Ertz was not my preferred TE2 (would have loved to roll the dice on Pitts) but he should suffice. DST: was surprised Pitt was there there with 8 or so units off the board. With health, I actually feel really good about this team. Mayfield coming close to 2024 and Njoku recapturing the magic he had with Flacco in 2023 are probably the keys. That and Keenan Allen signing

    Disability Pride Month

Technically I don’t think it needs to be celebrated. At the same time, it doesn’t bother me that it is. But yes, I absolutely think disabilities of all sorts is way more important to celebrate and raise awareness for

That time of year again: Camp injury news (Jaydon Blue)

Could be people chasing Bowers but Warren is also not being drafted as a starting TE. I think people understand his situation on the Colts (not to say Bowers situation was any better). Loveland is the guy being drafted as a TE1. I can only assume this is because of Ben Johnson and the idea that Caleb will take a step forward. Plus no WR there has proven anything outside DJ as far as I’m concerned.

    CMC

doesn't seem prudent. while CMC could lead even standard scoring leagues in ppg, so much of his value is as a receiver... plus there are backs who can easily produce as much or more than him who don't have his wear and tear (Bijan, Gibbs) By all means if you pick 2nd and Barkely is gone, pick CMC. He might win you your league.... Just seems like a weird risk when there are younger, fresher, just as productive options available.

off hand Bowers ----------------------- McBride Kittle ----------------------- LaPorta Hockenson ------------------------ Kelce Andrews (usually is closer to Kelce than the next group but sometimes falls with them) Loveland (sometimes) ------------------------ Engram < Njoku < in my opinion this is where you want to live after the top 3 are off the board Kraft < ------------------------- Warren Ferguson Goedert Pitts Kincaid Jonnu Henry Ertz

That time of year again: Camp injury news (Jaydon Blue)

I don't have any disagreements really with much of what you just posted, other than to say Josh Palmer and Elijah Moore are depth retreads at best. Also Keon Coleman is someone I have not been high on since he was drafted. I guess i'd also mention that Knox did next to nothing last year in 16 games despite whatever he is being paid. Take my word for it. No one is drafting Kincaid as a top 10 fantasy TE right now. There is an area where Andrews, Engram, Njoku and Kraft go in no particular order (usually andrews first though) and while FantasyPros has Kincaid ranked 12th, lots of people are taking Loveland and Warren ahead of him. In the July Mock that is just wrapping up right now, Njoku is my TE1 and I was looking to grab Kincaid as my 2. Goedert shares the same bye as Njoku and Pitts popped before Kincaid. I settled on Ertz so I went with a higher floor but almost zero upside.

@Bier Meister have all current rolls been confirmed? if so we just need @Cloaca du jour and @shorepatrol Then we can move on to phase 2 of picking draft slots

    CMC

he's the ultimate league winner, league loser pick right now. If he is 80% of prime CMC, getting him near the end of round 1, start of round 2 is robbery. If the issues crop up, you'll be in a tremendous hole considering the other really good options available in that area. He's going too low for his upside but too high for his risk. The risk alone should have him probably going after JT, Kyren and such. Of course if you go the CMC route, you can do you best to ensure you draft Guerrendo.

    Best Balls

I've been a FD user since DK erroneously locked my account due to a paypal issue like 3 years ago. I find their customer service to be MUCH better but I have not ever looked into best ball drafts. They would be under the DFS app? I can take a look into it for New Jersey if you want.

    Round Eleven-Sixteen Commentary - July Mock 2025

I did the same thing with Keenan Allen in the June Mock. Obviously another month of him remaining a free agent had me less inclined to do so and this format being 3WR and a flex also made me hesitate just a bit but at the end of the day I reasoned that him signing pretty much anywhere will produce more fantasy viable weeks than anything left at the WR position. I am crossing my fingers he signs in San Fran. Pitt would also be tremendous.. but really anywhere he might end up I think he has 70 catches in him as a crafty possession receiver.

Seriously though I think a disability awareness month is much more crucial than the june alphabet soup pride month

That time of year again: Camp injury news (Jaydon Blue)

Kraft usually goes before him in drafts. As far as breaking out, he is entering year 3, had 73/670 as a rookie, Josh Allen at QB and not a ton of talent at WR... nothing against Shakir and Coleman but there is no one on the roster that would make me think Kincaid couldn't realistically be near the lead in targets. The knee is good to know and something to keep an eye on. I'm not interested in him personally beyond a backup TE.
  17. Why are you still living in the past? Constantly posting about Biden when your candidate won? no better than the losers crying Trump from 2020-2024 sad. You need a hobby

    Round Eleven-Sixteen Commentary - July Mock 2025

Higgins was in consideration with my last pick but I wanted to "lock down" the Bears backfield and also hope that Johnson gets some standalone value with Ben Johnson in town. By no means do I expect a Gibbs/Montgomery situation but I do expect that in a best ball format, Johnson may produce a few usable weeks behind Swift.
