It's the biggest heist in the history of our corrupt government that no one talks about unless or until some big investor like Bill Ackman makes a statement claiming Trump may privatize them. Then it gets attention for a week or so. If you really dig deep around the timing of the NWS, lawsuits, sealed documents etc... it can only make you sick what our government is capable of. I have bought and sold shares many times after the price tanked. I currently hold a sizeable amount purchased leading up to this election. But the real tragedy are the people who owned shares prior to the theft, who wound up with massive losses and have been waiting 15 years for justice. There is risk involved with investing, but when that risk comes from the actions of our government, it must feel extra shitty

I clicked on your link. I have read this article many years ago. No disrespect intended but did you read your own link? There is a lot of greed behind the saga of FNMA and FMCC. Big Banks had no reason not to hand out mortgages to borrowers who probably couldn't afford the home they were purchasing because they could offload those loans. After the crisis, banks and other lenders now face much more strict guidelines for lending. Fannie and Freddie were the scapegoats. They received bailouts during the crisis, but unlike... AIG for example... were never allowed to repay and go back to business as usual. Right before announcing massive profits, the Obama administration enacted the Net Worth Sweep, sending all of their profits to the Treasury and allowing non of it to count towards repaying their bailout. And it wasn't until the very end of Trumps last administration that Fannie and Freddie were allowed to retain some capital with an eye on eventually being released from conservatorship. Not to say that Fannie and Freddie hold no blame. There was greed at all levels. But other companies who needed bailing out during this time were allowed to pay back, change their ways and carry on as usual. The mortgage twins were not allowed to do this because of our government greed. The many billions they could sweep into their coffers was too much to pass up.

CVS is technically my pharmacy. I have like 5 that are all fairly convenient. I pick any prescriptions up at their drive through. I also happen to use CVS as a pseudo bank since my main checking account is with Cap One and there are no convenient locations to me. CVS ATM's have no fees for Cap One and I can also deposit cash in the store when needed using the Cap One app. I even had a bunch of photos printed out to frame as a gift for a family member. Placed the order on their site and picked it up in store like 15 minutes later. i'd never buy food, greeting cards, etc in there but they often give me a crap ton of coupons and sometimes there are good ones for basically free vitamins and supplements. I even had my jab there back in 2021. I don't see them going away but would also doubt they would be a good investment, unless they have gone down enough in the past few weeks/months to make them a reasonable bounce play.

Well there obviously is a difference between immigrants and illegal immigrants. No one should be okay with illegal immigrants of any kind. I'm sure there are far less cases of illegal immigration among the immigrants with college educations demographic.

Definitely kicking myself for putting in for the Colts. Had I stuck with the Chargers then yes, this would be interesting up 16. Ironically, AD also put in for the Colts, who I assume he would have started. He had priority over me but he put in for someone else first. That very small instance resulted in a 29 point swing and likely the title. (No Colts would have been +12 for me playing the Chargers and -17 for Ad playing the Colts over the Ravens...)

in a lifetime full of bad takes this might be your worst. People being upset over the anthem kneeling at least had a reason to be. You don't have to agree with it, but you should have enough common sense to at least understand people seeing it as disrespect to the country / flag / service men and women... especially those putting their lives on the line to keep out country a place where dumb guys can make millions playing a game. The trump dance celebration isn't hurting or disrespecting anyone or anything.
