***Fantasy Geek Ball League 2024*** Is Clocaine the team to beat?

You too. I thought the rest of the Vikings offense would do a little more but it was the JJ show (a week too late for me in another league). I like the duo I have going but 23.5 and Dowdle is a good cushion for you -

A pair of nail biter semi final games -
we just always have it on auto. sometimes it will generously give me a very long 2 putt and sometimes a 2 putt from 5 feet, which is accurate

did one with the boys Thursday night. Liking my new Qi10 LS driver. overall I was rusty, I was +5 when we ran out of time after 16 (this is with auto putts which were mostly giving me 2 putts).... we did a lot of eating, drinking and BSing. Usually we have a half hour left over to do some of the goofy trackman challenges. We probably started a bit late and then it was a bunch of "stop analyzing a shitty NY football team and hit your focking shot"

What did you ask for Xmas from the Wife/Partner/S.O.
WhiteWonder replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
Anyone have a recommendation for a quality , smaller sized humidor? Smaller sized being something you could sit on top of a dresser or office shelf. Preferably easily ordered from Bezos? -
Side note on golf gear / xmas gifts.... My dad has never liked hybrids and for whatever reason loves fairway woods. He has 3, 5, 7 and 9 woods in his bag and then goes right to a 6 iron. It is ridiculously hard to find a brand new or even a certified pre owned 7 wood that isn't wimmens or senior flex. First of all, not a lot of companies even bother with it. All of his woods are Callaway so that was mostly what I was looking for. If you want to pay full price for the latest model, sure, no problem. But if you want to try and match something they are already familiar with (diablo, rogue, epic, etc) good luck. He has graduated to a senior flex shaft in his driver which I set him up with this past spring. But all of his fairway woods are still R flex so I wanted to stay consistent. Callaway's pre owned site looked like my best bet. I found maybe 3 or 4 excellent condition 7 woods with regular flex shafts and every time I added them to my cart and went to pay, they were gone. So for a kind of odd club that not many people play, there seems to be a demand for them. I ended up getting lucky and found a country club dude on FB Marketplace selling a brand new AI Smoke 7 wood with regular flex for $150. He took $125 for it. Said he wins so many clubs at tricky trays, etc.

I always wanted to try a counter balanced putter. I mean, I have indoors but never on a course. I think Harman used an oversized version of that. I remember thinking it looked like he was using a focking broom. Clark uses an odyssey jailbird that I think he asked to rip off of Fowler... but when he won the major it might have been a Spider. I got my dad a Spider putter for xmas a few years ago. Just a basic one, no counter balance. Head looks like what you linked just with red accents instead of blue

Donald Trump named TIME magazine “Person of the Year”…
WhiteWonder replied to posty's topic in The Geek Club
the part about the ad time could be accurate. As far as only simulcasting espn when there is nothing else going on can't be correct as it's espn radio all day every day for the last 15+ years. It's the only afternoon drive sports talk show to beat Mike Francesca and Russo in ratings. It's mostly the same personalities that they rotate on different shows. Michael Kay, Don Lagreca (rangers radio play by play), Peter Rosenberg (hot 97) were a 22 year long show.... but they also have or have had Alan Hahn, Bart Scott, Chris Canty, Rick DiPietro, Dave Rothenberg, Anita Marks, etc etc. and occasionally, someone like Canty gets plucked for national. -

I know. I'm just wondering/speculating why I don't hear any when I listen to ESPN. Was thinking maybe because I live in a blue state and region but I am also surprised that Disney/ESPN would run Trump ads of any kind, being the 'woke' company they have become. But I know nothing about radio advertising so maybe it's not ESPN, maybe it's a partner company. I think audacy or whatever it's called now runs ESPN radio NY. -

My quote was supposed to say NY liberal media market, fwiw. Maybe because i'm listening to ESPN NY on 880 AM radio in my area, I honestly don't recall hearing a single political ad nor any of these Trump product ads. -

The main point was it's a comical situation to have your model hookup be the one calling police about a break in. Burrow says he tries to be very private. Obviously that's one of the reasons why. but secondary point is yes, she's attractive, but I was expecting way better from a top level NFL QB

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/42920993/bengals-joe-burrow-says-privacy-violated-more-ways-one-home-break-mnf More hilarious because the break in was reported by a model he supposedly cheated on his girlfriend, possible fiance with.
