So much of this reminds me of the liberals crying (falsely) that Trump is going to end their social security! Without stopping to realize social security has been in bad shape for quite a while now. They seem to forget that a few years ago, we began the shift to paying out more SS benefits than we are bringing in from SS tax on working individuals. The SS reserve account that had been built up over a long period of time is now being tapped into, and at this rate, we will eventually hit a point that the reserve is gone and SS benefits will only be able to be paid out at the rate SS tax funds are coming in.... which means a lot of people will be getting much less in benefits than they planned for and people my age and younger may not have any, despite paying into it. It's going to take serious reform This is why the tariff doom and gloom and crying from guys like Tim, reminds me of social security. They refuse to accept that in certain scenarios, big changes need to happen and some short term hurt may need to happen to ultimately fix an issue and come out better on the other side.

Reason I had asked is I was semi interested and would have picked Houston. I basically have no ties to them but from doing a decent amount of mens college betting since Feb, I seemed to bet a lot on them, LJ Cryer, Emmanuel Sharpe, Uzan, etc. So they were the team I was cheering for and had winning it all in my brackets. But I also didn't totally understand the rules. I assume if your team wound up playing someone elses team directly, you HAD to wager... and then if someone wanted to challenge you by taking your teams opponent in a game, you could also accept that?

I think he is still super talented but maybe more so than any of the LIV guys, really just wanted the bag of $, and just doesn't give a fock anymore. His exemptions to the other 3 majors are going to start to run out soon. He doesn't strike me as one of the LIV guys who will try to play other events for OWGR points or go through qualifying... (and yes, they should get points from LIV events!) I can see him shooting 67 or 77 and maybe less likely to be in the 70-73 range. Maybe just depends on the drive up Magnolia lane, champions dinner... if it sparks something he can combine with course knowledge and undeniable talent. Feels like the ultimate boom/bust pick at this point

** Also to update... Ed responded to my text yesterday evening that he would send the money over. I have not received anything yet but was glad to get a response.

I mean I never really said I was trying to do anything. also there are more differences between Trump and other politicians. Namely that he is not a polished, life long politician. Which is why he appeals to many people. I would actually say the vast majority of media on either side never call out their own.

decent actor who obviously gets more credit than he deserves because he's a good looking guy. But I would hardly say his movie career didn't work out too well. This is why, while I am definitely not a Liberal (and voted for Trump)...., it gets hard to stand Trump sometimes. Stop chirping and just put your head down and go to work. I am going to mark Dain paid for the next 4 events for the time being just for my own sanity. I will erase it when/if I receive all the money and pay him out. Being the banker is not tough when you start out but trying to take over mid season is a bit more of a pain.

Okay, I thought that could be the case but the spreadsheet just has you as $50 for the Masters so did not know the breakdown of how it was paid. I have been trying to do the Math for what Ed needs to send me and cross check it with what I will need to pay out for the rest of the season which is $320 per event for 5 events plus $850 at the end of the year ($10 per event for 10 events for the 8 of us and $10 per event for 5 events from Ed)... $2,450 paid out from here on out. There is about $990 to still be collected from remaining players as the season moves along which would mean he should need to send me $1460 but it's really $1660 because the $200 going TO Dain is not marked on the sheet since Dain was taking a payout.

no, actually this can't be correct. You won the Players and elected to pay for the Masters and be sent the rest, correct? Winning the Players was $210 - $50 to pay for the Masters = $160 coming your way if not rolling it over. Unless you had already applied $40 to the Masters from something previously which I am not aware of

I just messaged you back regarding the original figure. It needs $50 per person (including Ed) because $10 per person per event is set aside for the season long an has never been paid out.

Also I see Cloaca marked for $60 on the players. I believe the extra 10 was to cover his season long edex fee from his missed API, so that gets included.... and Dain is paid for the Masters but still either owed money beyond that, correct?

Was anything paid out for the Players? (aside from dain wanting to be paid) was anyone else owed money or was it all rolled forward?
