***2025 EdEx THE MASTERS*** A Tradition Unlike Any Other
WhiteWonder replied to BiffTannen's topic in The Geek Club
Jerry, good luck with everything. My thoughts are with ya bud. If I can be of any help just let me know. as for edjr, if he actually is out, I will attempt to get him to Venmo or PP me everyone’s funds that have already been paid and be the bank for the remainder of the season. -
They announced the torpedo bat icon. I don’t think it’s needed. Still gotta make contact it’s just getting hype because a good Yankee lineup set some home run records with like 2-3 players using it

What are you basing “Kamala was right all along” on? Market immediate reactions to tariffs? So are you the type of person who thinks we should never suffer in the short term for the benefit of the long term? Did you say the same thing about Biden policies (whatever they actually were) when they caused short term hurt? out of curiosity are you the kind of person who claimed Trump was a threat to democracy but then voted for someone who never went through our democratic process to become your nominee? out of curiosity are you someone who shrugged off the slumping stock market from mid 2021? Not Biden’s fault… probably claimed it was Trumps and then when it rebounded in 2023, claimed it was Biden… even though most educated adults know the market always winds up going up. because aside from the market over the last month or so, what else is there for libs to cry about?

That was my only loss thankfully that day. Won women’s parlay again and a 3 leg nba but I had a feelings soon I picked Flaherty under it was a loss. Chicago is so bad. didn’t hit much yesterday aside from Walter Clayton over points… and Houston beating Duke did win me my small bracket with friends

i played this. The line was trash at -136 but I had a 30% boost on strikeout over/unders so let's see.

You’re a moron

I’m surprised you’ll be watching

What is this thread even? Aside from franchise QBs, elite WRs make offenses go and they have the career longevity to be impactful for a franchise they get paid. This isn’t new a lot of other things (like being #7 in jersey sales in 2024) dictate his worth.

Again suggests he was ever fixed

Packers submit proposal to ban "tush push"
WhiteWonder replied to listen2me 23's topic in The Geek Club
But my point is, very often we see a ball carrier get stood up and stay upright as they are pushed back and the play isn't blown dead immediately because if they think there is a chance for that offensive player to slip free and gain, they want to allow that.... and they don't lose yards on those plays. As an offensive player you only lose yards if you are actively running backwards to try and turn nothing into something or met behind the line of scrimmage, etc. Otherwise, you always get awarded forward progress. I feel like a play should be blown dead as soon as a teammate actively pushes you forward. -

I responded somewhere in this post so I'm sure I'm saying the same thing... the reason I don't like it and think it should be removed is not because a few teams like the eagles and bills excel at it. For me I just don't understand how ball carriers can get stood up at the line and pushed back by a defender until the play is blown dead and they will be awarded forward progress rather than -3 yards. Yet an offensive players is allowed to shove his teammate forward and get as many yards as possible. There should be some sort of reverse forward progress .. but seriously, if you cant shove a player backwards and have them lose yards, why should you be allowed to shove a player forward and have them gain? I know everything is skewed toward the offense but when you consider how silly the play is, I think they can do without it and the game is still catered plenty to the offense. -
right? I went 7/18

i've never known walks to count as total bases. So my silly 2+ total base parlays need guys to be hitting doubles or home runs or, obviously, two singles. SP strikeouts are a good route to go. I prefer to find unders I like since you just never know when a pitcher get pulled earlier than anticipated or even be cruising but not missing bats hat day.
-
Or a flushed dollar bill
-
2 plus total bases. the same parlay as just “to get a hit” would pay 560 dollars. you could also take a few lesser name hitters and likely get a similar pay out at only 15 legs for the 2+ total bases.
-
I also assumed this was a Seafoam thread
-
Soto, Vientos, Judge, Chisholm, Carroll, K.Marte, Seager, De La Cruz, Caminero, B.Lowe, Witt, India, Chourio, Tatis, Machado, Chapman, Rooker, Betts. $1 to win $664k
-
I’m Assuming those are real stats, and again I realize the books know what they are doing… but how many of those hits come from lesser players, pinch hitters you wouldn’t wager on and what’s the spread among the 18 batters on each team? like of course there are more hits on average in an MLB game than there are TDs in an NFL game… but where is the equity coming from? so I guess my feeling and why I question it is because it seems far easier to pinpoint which NFL players will be accumulating the touchdowns. Or at the very least, closer than the odds suggest.

he threw a chair off a building i believe. he also was in hot water off using the N word a few times while being filmed drunk with friends. he did the standard fake apology stuff and his career took off even more.

I'm a morgan wallen fan. He does look fairly stupid as he walks off stage. If it was to send a message, I guess I get it but I don't think anyone really cares enough. also a fan of the girl who hosted

I hit all three of my parlays last night (womens NCAA, MLB and NBA) all profit boosted so i'll probably throw a $1-2 lotto ticket on the "2+ total base" prop tonight for giggles.... Will post it here so we can laugh when 5/20 are correct . Again, the other shitty thing with baseball is that because of all the staggered starting times, I think ever being offered a cash out will be near impossible. You'd have to have a bunch of legs hit before the 10 PM window starts
-
so you think it's easier for a top MLB hitter to get a hit in a game than it is for a top NFL star to score a TD? That was my original proposed question to guys in this thread. I just don't see it, let alone having it be 2-3x easier.... That's why I used the Judge vs. Barkley comparison. Barkley gets fed the ball, Judge gets 4-5 at bats before you factor in intentional walks and such. Also so many little things like pinch hitting / pinch running even for very good MLB players based on matchup analytics.
-
agreed. but they price getting a hit as if it is 2-3x easier than scoring a touchdown
