I won’t do just to get a hit. 20 legs pays 5-10k only. Not worth it. I will ultimately do some 2+ total base ones since that is in line with the anytime TD odds. Will post when I make one. an additional draw back is that unlike NfL with an early window and late window, I don’t see ever being offered a cash out with baseball. My 2 NFL cash outs this year were when I had a majority of my 1pm picks correct and the 4pm games had not started and they wanted me out

The closest match to anytime TD is 2+ total bases. 2 singles, double, etc all satisfy and it’s very similar odds to a touchdowns. not playing anything today although guys being off just voids a leg unless they pinch hit. was more curious what you guys thought was harder to predict. Anytime TDs vs hits. I think it’s easily anytime TDs. Maybe I am biased because of my FF background but I cashed out 2 of those during the NFL season for almost $200 profit after the $25 or so spent doing one per week (at $1-2 each) just seems to me that it’s not too tough to say Justin Jefferson will get fed, Jamar Chase will get fed, Henry, Barkley, Gibbs, Adams after the trade, high volume starting backs like Bijan. Backs getting increased workload because of injury. Hits is such a crapshoot when you factor in lefty vs righty, intentional walks, HBPs, on top of guys only batting like 250ish. but that’s not the way the books apparently see it

theory discussion... as Biff knows, I usually do a weekly "lotto ticket parlay" during NFL season. Anytime TD scorers. I thought it might be possible to build similar for MLB "to get a hit". .. It is not. If you want similar you have to go with "2+ total bases". Now I am sure data analytics supports the odds on hit props vs TD props but i find it hard to believe that it is nearly twice as likely for a major league hitter to record a hit during his 4-5 at bats than it is for a star NFL player, who gets fed the ball, to score a TD at any point during his game. Take Aaron Judge and Saquon Barkley as examples. Judge is only getting up 4-5 times in a game. Even if he is batting .333, you have to factor in all the walks which don't lower his average. So even a great hitter like that is getting a hit less than once every three at bats. Barkley scored 15 times in 17 (really 16) regular season games. iirc, a usual line for Barkley anytime TD would have been -130ish?. Aaron Judge to get a hit is -220 today and that gets worse if the starter is a lefty. I have no intention on building "to get a hit" parlays. I'd be more likely to put $1 on 8 players to hit home runs if I am looking for a fun lotto ticket. Just curious what others thought about the ease of scoring touchdowns vs getting hits

I was also wondering what happened when I saw the trade but I have no idea if Isbel is any good so I just assumed cmh and ZT worked a trade after cmh was looking for Canha. Canha could not have been freely added because he was drafted in round 12, I believe, by ZT with a placeholder. But now I understand what happened and I would say it makes sense to not hold anyone to that trade.

Not that it matters, because he is exclusive, but I find it interesting that Ohtani the pitcher can be listed as IL. He is one person. Just because he won't pitch for a while doesn't mean he is injured list eligible

Yes. Mark canha was drafted in round 12 by Detroit. His place holder was mark leiter jr. I forgot that somehow in the accounting post.

I had 5 to win 50 (placed after round 3) on that choking MF’er JT. Thankfully I grabbed a cash out for $15 after his tee shot on 18

Hard boiled eggs: Whites or yolks?

Meant companies selling egg whites. They generally use or sell the yolks to be used in mayo, ice cream dressings etc.

Hard boiled eggs: Whites or yolks?

yes they are but if cholesterol is not an issue for you or you are not looking for JUST protein, then you're missing out on the best nutrients of the egg and that doesn't have anything to do with throwing away the yolks. companies that sell just egg whites are not tossing out the yolks.

    Do you like espresso?

Sorry, The topic was espresso so I was talking espresso only which is a shot of strong, high concentration coffee, obviously. cafe con leche is espresso with scalded milk, not foamed. Usually 50/50 or more milk. hence why I originally said if you want espresso a better version is cafe con leche. Perhaps I should have said “my favorite espresso drink is cafe con leche”. I figured that went without saying. I wasn’t comparing espresso based beverages BUT a latte for example is different than cafe con leche. Different milk ratios and foam vs no foam. Yes you are correct, a latte is going to be 2-1 milk or even more.

This is for @Alias Detective i reallllly wanted to pick Arkansas as my dog of the day because St John’s is a bad 3 point and free throw shooting team and I have them losing this in my bracket. but I went Drake

Hard boiled eggs: Whites or yolks?

No idea what booty chalk tastes like. Soft boiled takes care of the chalky texture. but I don’t see why anyone would throw away the yolks. Don’t eat them on their own, okay but at least mix them with some typical deviled egg ingredients and you have an awesome dip/spread for crackers.

    Do you like espresso?

Yes that’s basically what I just said. Although it’s usually going to be half espresso half milk as opposed to over here it’s more espresso.

    Oral secks

1a. Yes, why wouldn’t it be? 1b. If she doesn’t like receiving oral (and I’ve dated a few who didn’t) she’s gone 2a. Yes 2b. Yes but I prefer depositing on her chest and honestly I don’t want to make out with her after she swallows 3a. Absolutely 3B. Most of the time

Hard boiled eggs: Whites or yolks?

So you throw out the most nutrient rich and expensive part of the egg. Nice

Hard boiled eggs: Whites or yolks?

Well, often I use very little mayo, mustard etc for my deviled eggs so the yolk really is main ingredient but I hear ya. Plain hard boiled eggs i lean slightly yolk

Hard boiled eggs: Whites or yolks?

Yolk I mean, just eating a straight up hard boiled egg, I enjoy the entire thing.... but the Yolk is the star of deviled eggs and that's usually what I am making if I am hard boiling eggs. sometimes soft boil when I make ramen.

I was eying them but I don't want to cheer against Houston since I have them going all the way in my bracket pool . I wanted to go slightly against the grain of all the duke/auburn/florida champ picks I used todays token on Drake... hoping more people will be on Gonzaga, UCLA and Mcneese.
