1 Season Keeper for 2025... Puka,Dixon,Daniels? PPR
WhiteWonder replied to Captain Goomy Noomy Roo's topic in A Little Help!
did you mean Mixon? Keep Puka. There are plenty of QB's that are fantasy relevant -
I wouldn't "let" him win. I mean, if certain owners want to sit a player or two they think is going to have a better week in hopes that they sort of lose to this guy, whatever... but I would bet he simply wants to enjoy one more season of competing in FF. Those saying there are more important things, well, if I knew I was dying part of what i'd want to spend my time doing are all the hobbies I love. i'd be playing golf every day and i'd certainly draft and play FF maybe just in my favorite league. of course on top of spending time with friends and family

way to be your typical self in a thread about a cancer victim. thanks, amen

I see a few teams that would probably struggle at the position on paper post draft, but most did a pretty good job, I think. I would have likely said you did the best job of drafting both top end RBs as well as solid, established RB depth had it not been for the Mixon news that came out mid mock. Even with that, I think you are in decent shape. To still have CMC backed up by Guerendo, David Montgomery, and Rhamondre who I think will still have some useful games until Henderson takes over. With Mixon, it might be the best RB room top to bottom. Without, you still have enough to survive.

I think it's fair to blame the owners and the leagues in general. Have other industries salaries gone up to the same degree as star athletes over the last few decades? Most other professions don't use the last guys raise as a benchmark for the next employees raise. The teams, owners, leagues, commissioners could have done a better job keeping these massive contracts in check a long time ago. They would still probably be very big money, but they might not seem quite as absurdly high.... especially when these top guys also make a lot in endorsement money. but i get it, it's an entertainment industry.
-
Athletes make absurd money but on the scale of athletes, football players are the ones I have the least problem with due to the physical toll they put on their bodies. If I was a first round rookie coming into the NFL, I would play out my rookie deal, try to get that huge first extension from my team and then retire 2-3 years later at 28

This is certainly the time for Terry to go for more $. He realizes the team is onto something special and they need him as Daniel’s #1. Although Daniel’s was a rookie and I wouldn’t say Terry is necessarily “his guy” any more than someone else could be if they move on. The issue is who?

Round Eleven-Sixteen Commentary - July Mock 2025
WhiteWonder replied to Mike FF Today's topic in The Mocking Station
Debated/debating doing a July Mock Analysis ala Fumble in the June. not sure if I have time but may try. as for my draft…. Definitely wasn’t thrilled with the 8th pick. There’s sort of a clear top 6 and then my preference after those is Amon-Ra rather than Puka with Adams in town and Stafford nursing his back. I sort of felt like I was picking in a dead zone pretty often and wound up ending some runs rather than starting any (Kamara, Mayfield, Njoku). QB: Mayfield, Prescott I can’t realistically expect 2024 numbers from Mayfield again. I was hoping for Nix here but knew it was a 50/50 shot. Dak is a QB2 I love. RB: Kamara, Swift, Pollard, Ford, R.Johnson The weak spot, BUT Kamara was something like #5 in ppr ppg last year. Was hoping for Breece but perhaps I should be more excited about Kamara getting fed. Swift is someone I am starting to get very high on due to Ben Johnson being in town and having familiarity there. Pollard is an uninspiring RB3/flex. Ford I think is now undervalued, at least at the moment, with all the Judkins nonsense and Roschon is a handcuff play WR: Puka, London, Ridley, Meyers, Tillman, Allen the strength of my team. I am very big on my top 3, even though I just said I prefer ARSB but that’s not to say I don’t like Puka. Meyers was a luxury pick and I think a great WR4. Tillman is someone I’ve been in since rookie dynasty drafts but we shall see. If Allen signs in a nice situation, I’d have a hard time believing this isn’t the top WR room in the league. TE: Njoku, Ertz maybe another minor weak spot but I think Njoku can be a monster again with Flacco. It may be to the detriment of my Tillman but that’s okay. Ertz was not my preferred TE2 (would have loved to roll the dice on Pitts) but he should suffice. DST: was surprised Pitt was there there with 8 or so units off the board. With health, I actually feel really good about this team. Mayfield coming close to 2024 and Njoku recapturing the magic he had with Flacco in 2023 are probably the keys. That and Keenan Allen signing -
Technically I don’t think it needs to be celebrated. At the same time, it doesn’t bother me that it is. But yes, I absolutely think disabilities of all sorts is way more important to celebrate and raise awareness for

That time of year again: Camp injury news (Tyjae Spears)
WhiteWonder replied to Vikings4ever's topic in FFToday Board
Could be people chasing Bowers but Warren is also not being drafted as a starting TE. I think people understand his situation on the Colts (not to say Bowers situation was any better). Loveland is the guy being drafted as a TE1. I can only assume this is because of Ben Johnson and the idea that Caleb will take a step forward. Plus no WR there has proven anything outside DJ as far as I’m concerned. -
doesn't seem prudent. while CMC could lead even standard scoring leagues in ppg, so much of his value is as a receiver... plus there are backs who can easily produce as much or more than him who don't have his wear and tear (Bijan, Gibbs) By all means if you pick 2nd and Barkely is gone, pick CMC. He might win you your league.... Just seems like a weird risk when there are younger, fresher, just as productive options available.

off hand Bowers ----------------------- McBride Kittle ----------------------- LaPorta Hockenson ------------------------ Kelce Andrews (usually is closer to Kelce than the next group but sometimes falls with them) Loveland (sometimes) ------------------------ Engram < Njoku < in my opinion this is where you want to live after the top 3 are off the board Kraft < ------------------------- Warren Ferguson Goedert Pitts Kincaid Jonnu Henry Ertz -

I don't have any disagreements really with much of what you just posted, other than to say Josh Palmer and Elijah Moore are depth retreads at best. Also Keon Coleman is someone I have not been high on since he was drafted. I guess i'd also mention that Knox did next to nothing last year in 16 games despite whatever he is being paid. Take my word for it. No one is drafting Kincaid as a top 10 fantasy TE right now. There is an area where Andrews, Engram, Njoku and Kraft go in no particular order (usually andrews first though) and while FantasyPros has Kincaid ranked 12th, lots of people are taking Loveland and Warren ahead of him. In the July Mock that is just wrapping up right now, Njoku is my TE1 and I was looking to grab Kincaid as my 2. Goedert shares the same bye as Njoku and Pitts popped before Kincaid. I settled on Ertz so I went with a higher floor but almost zero upside. -
There are always going to be a few. Personally I am less inclined to acknowledge posts like that with a response. Especially as so much of what goes on in this forum are attempts to rile people up. I don't really care if it makes you feel better but i'll go ahead and say that while I am not conservative (I am just capable of common sense on most issues), I do not share any hatred or bigotry with someone like CDub, if that is how he really is. I also don't think I need to explain this. I don't need to justify myself by disowning the random words posted by someone else. As for the post itself, Western European is the dominant culture of America and it did technically build our nation. So Im assuming your issue is with

Since I am specifically talking about the actions i see from Timhack, then all you've managed to explain to me here is that their was a "skirmish" that he either was not involved in, which wouldn't explain his constant childish @'ing, OR he was a part of the "skirmish" and was possibly talking trash about people and then after being called on it, shifted to over the top @'ing which is double the childishness. I dont think its any big issue to take a little jab at someone and not make them aware of it. going off on a tangent about someone and really attempting to slander them (or libel, its a message board but I tend to view it as us speaking about each other), okay I would get someone being miffed about that. (and I am not excusing anyone's hypocritical behavior on this matter)

@Bier Meister have all current rolls been confirmed? if so we just need @Cloaca du jour and @shorepatrol Then we can move on to phase 2 of picking draft slots
-
he's the ultimate league winner, league loser pick right now. If he is 80% of prime CMC, getting him near the end of round 1, start of round 2 is robbery. If the issues crop up, you'll be in a tremendous hole considering the other really good options available in that area. He's going too low for his upside but too high for his risk. The risk alone should have him probably going after JT, Kyren and such. Of course if you go the CMC route, you can do you best to ensure you draft Guerrendo.

I've been a FD user since DK erroneously locked my account due to a paypal issue like 3 years ago. I find their customer service to be MUCH better but I have not ever looked into best ball drafts. They would be under the DFS app? I can take a look into it for New Jersey if you want.

Round Eleven-Sixteen Commentary - July Mock 2025
WhiteWonder replied to Mike FF Today's topic in The Mocking Station
I did the same thing with Keenan Allen in the June Mock. Obviously another month of him remaining a free agent had me less inclined to do so and this format being 3WR and a flex also made me hesitate just a bit but at the end of the day I reasoned that him signing pretty much anywhere will produce more fantasy viable weeks than anything left at the WR position. I am crossing my fingers he signs in San Fran. Pitt would also be tremendous.. but really anywhere he might end up I think he has 70 catches in him as a crafty possession receiver. -
did I say we couldn't?

Seriously though I think a disability awareness month is much more crucial than the june alphabet soup pride month

I thought we celebrated this in June?

Horseman has many childish behaviors as well. but the @ function is there to get peoples attention. we use it to let someone know they are on the clock or if they are really needed in a thread. you seem to be doing it specifically to posters you want to get a reaction from. it's more like they havn't played your game with you yet so you're trying to push them into doing so. @ them once? I might not question it... but the amount of times you have used the function for specific people in this thread alone seems extremely childish.
