Also I was thinking, if Cloaca is not done for the season and just skipping this event... are we allowing that? If he comes back for the Players, is it business as usual or is he allowed to play event by event but not be a part of the Edex ? And we can't just auto give him the first pick like he came in last place.... I think keeping him with his draft spot from this event is probably the most fair way to do it since he was picking 5th, smack dab in the middle.

So with no Cloaca that is -$50. -$10 for the Edex Cup pot and -$40 for this event. How about the following?... 1st = $190 (twice 2nd place +$10) 2nd = $90 (twice 3rd place +$10) 3rd = $40 $80 goes to the bigger pot at $10 per entrant

and multiple people should have your number. ed and fumble have me, for example. I would say maybe Cloaca didn't get to have lunch today and his phone is still in his lunch box but we don't know because Ed is MIA as well.

I certainly thought when I checked in this afternoon we might be mid round 2... and this is a draft 6 event. But I feel like every event so far this season we are done drafting with plenty of time. often a full day before the start. So while this is a bad habit of cloaca, i'd hate to press it to a point where he leaves and we are down one genuinely good dude. i also dont like skipping and auto picking based on odds or a sites ranking list. i guess theres not really a better alternative and it's a lot of luck but the people on either side could get needlessly sniped if someone doesn't show up for their first pick and is not paid up, maybe they just get skipped completely and take a 9th place finish and no edex points. of course that then means they get #1 overall next event.... or maybe the best course of action is NFL rules (is it still the rule?) ... once an agreed upon timer is up, they get skipped with no pick and can make a pick whenever they show back up, but the draft will continue on until then.

I don't have high hopes for the Rays this season as I have in years past, especially in that AL East. a lot will hinge on starting pitching and how they manage playing in a spring training park. for fantasy purposes, most of my draft list stayed pretty much the same. decided to go heavy on starting pitching and pitching in general with my first 5 picks and 7 of 12 being pitchers. one thing I can say is the only player I missed out on who I thought I had a legitimate chance to grab in the draft was Kirby Yates. or at least thought I could nab one of Fairbanks/Yates. everything else felt pretty much as expected. definitely missed some players i'd like to have but I was assuming I would miss them based on the draft order and my rankings... (Randy, Morton, Paredes, Adam) i dont expect this to be a playoff team but with health, a strategic supplemental and decent amount of depth exclusives.... who knows

my local course that I will generally play when it warms up but conditions still are not great is an easy walk. i bring my trusty basic ass pull cart with me. it's not even a cool fancy push cart

i wouldnt suggest regular but more stiff than X-Stiff. granted all shafts play differently but an x-stiff is going to feel more like a board. He can probably get an employee at a big box golf store to adjust the head for him... and yes, popping it up is the swing not the loft haha, as you are well aware. Once he hones his swing a bit more, even though that extra degree doesnt seem like a lot, he will hit it straighter and more consistent with that little extra loft
